Stayed at the property for the first time during 2022 lockdown. They have made sure people are safe and maintaining protocols. The front rooms have a killer view of the ocean. Breakfast and restaurant items are delicious. The only thing that disappointed me was the missing tea/coffee bar. I am not sure how this is related to the lockdown protocols.

The hotel is great, perhaps the walls are a bit thin but parking on site was reasonable and easy. It is a short walk to the areas you need to visit. The area has plenty of great restaurants so don't stay at the hotel to eat. The views are incredible as well.

Hotel is at a very nice place of the city gulf, with nice view - if you are lucky to have front view. I was not lucky us I had back view, on a terrace that making building extension. Heavy machines were running all the time without stopping, not even within the common rest hours i.e. 15.00-17.00 or anything like that! Personnel was polite, however, their instructions from the management were not allowing any flexibility. This is because as I had my room reserved through an agency that is always covering my breakfast and meals due to the nature of my visit, this was not clear from the hotel. I asked them to clarify with my agent, they requested to do it myself. I asked to charge my room until the matter solved, it was not accepted although I had a 2nd day booked. Finally I lost my breakfast time in arrangements, they destroyed my mood and I don't want to remember the name of that hotel. Attached some pictures of the works in progress, for which, never asked or informed about!

This Hotel is situated in the best place ever. The views are out of this world they take very seriously Covid 19 rules. The room was huge!! Two floors with spectacular views to the Ocean. I took breakfast this morning at the hotel and it was really good with social distance. I will come back for sure to this place next year. Customer service excellent. I recommended this hotel 200 %. You won't regret it

Sure location and nicely appointed rooms. The disappointment was that they were having a heat wave week but the air conditioning still had not been turned on. While there are large windows they are locked. We asked for them to be opened and we’re told that it was not possible. The first night always extremely difficult to sleep. The next morning we informed the front desk that there seemed to be other windows opened on our floor and were told again that it was not possible to open them. We asked for a room where the windows could be opened but were told they did not have any rooms available with open windows. Again, we personally witnessed opened windows in the building. They offered a fan which was brought up to the room but it was just blowing the warm air around. We companies again the next day and we’re told again that there was nothing that could be done. We were out all day and when we returned our window were open and the room was finally comfortable. So, while the property was live, nice rooms and a restaurant, the common areas were all air conditioned, I cannot give the property a high rating due to the lack of service provided. While they were nice, they were unhelpful. The fact that we spent 2 of 3 nights barely sleeping because of the heat is unacceptable. Even more infuriating is that the windows were eventually unlocked for us on the last night. Bad service, even when performed with a smile, is still bad service. Nothing was even offered for the inconvenience.

This is not the first time we have stayed at the Melia. I really love these hotels. But here we were not welcome. Just got an unfriendly shift of staff. In a glance, an evaluative opinion and we were asked to leave the parking lot, despite the fact that there was a place there. The hotel is a reconstruction of an old building. Therefore, the floor creaks) Cribs are very old. I paid extra for a view room, but they gave it to us on the first floor)) see for yourself) The only thing that made me very happy was the breakfast. It was wonderful. There was even a red fish :)

Great location but lacks service. I asked for two wine glasses in the room to celebrate a friend's birthday in the room with the terrace. They wanted to charge 3€. Money is not an issue but the principle. Poor.

This is literally one of the best places I stayed at. Awesome view, very good customer service, super clean and comfortable. I rarely vote 5 stars but this one deserves it.

The hotel offers a great view to the Atlantic Ocean and it is evenly located from different point of interests . The rooms are very nice and clean . I found the materess a little bit too hard to be comfortable enough for me . Although breakfast was very good , the cofee was not my favourite .

Excellent property right in front of the beach. Stunning views. Very friendly staff. The only missing thing is that the property is showing its age and needs renovation.

Worst hotel experience ever. Literally the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed at in the US and abroad. Beds very uncomfortable. Customer service despicable. Pool ridiculously small. Overall hotel amenities equivalent to a cheap motel. Hard to even find drinking water and basic concessions. Food options very limited with poor quality and hours. Family suites are not setup in a way that is conducive for young children with bunk bed on lower floor by external suite door to the hallway and master bedroom for parents up a steep and poorly lit spiral staircase. This goes down as the worst hotel memory ever!!

Great location and very nice breakfast. Rooms are comfy but walls are thin and even slightest sound travels easily. Wouldn't recommend this for lighter sleepers.

We had a nice double suite with a good view of the promenade and the city on the peninsula. The room was very clean, and in excellent standard. One of the best hotel beds I had the pleasure to sleep in in a long time. However, some things were in need of repair (small stuff like an electrical socket).

The hotel's outside appearance is very grand, and it's one of the best looking buildings on the beach front. The inside is equally quite grand. Overall, it's very clean, fairly comfortable and has a great breakfast. The location I think is unbeatable. We did enjoy our stay there overall, but there is some feedback for the management: - the rooms didn't really include any nice 'freebies' that you'd expect from such an expensive hotel. By that I mean toiletries, drinks/food and other things that make a difference when entering your room - these make a big difference and come at a little cost to a hotel! - the rooms we had are quite pokey (small), given the size of the hotel, this was surprising. The rooms also lack art or any kind of design and uniqueness to make it feel special, the rooms are dull looking and soulless. - the rooms were also very stuffy and the first night was difficult to sleep, the air-conditioning was on, but the power must have been reduced as it made little difference. - the hotel doesn't include car parking, and this comes at an additional cost. Given the price customers pay, it's fair to say this should come as standard - it does come across as penny-pinching! -there's no swimming pool! Having stayed in hotels all over the world, with everything considered, in my opinion, it's a solid 3 star hotel.
