🫤 I popped in for brunch on my last day in Santiago and it turned out to be unpleasant experience, and here is why: 1. When I finally sat outside, I had to wait too long to get the table clean although the waiter saw it which made me feel unwelcome He brought my order, and still didn’t clean the tab... I popped in for brunch on my last day in Santiago and it turned out to be unpleasant experience, and here is why: 1. When I finally sat outside, I had to wait too long to get the table clean although the waiter saw it which made me feel unwelcome He brought my order, and still didn’t clean the table. He only came back when he finally saw me taking pictures of dirty dishes that had been left by previous guests And I would understand that if there were 10 or more tables to serve but there weren’t 2. I noticed that I had been overcharged after I left the place: A) On their menu the regular Venezuelan eggs costs €8, and I was charged €10 on the bill B) and for the golfeado (cinnamon bun) I was charged €3.5 although on their menu sweets on the house cost up to €2.5 Do you think it’s legal? Some more points: 1. The bun tasted good, so the coffee 2. The location is also cool 3. It’s good that they have complementary water but the rest had nothing special And the fact of being overcharged and unattended still makes me give them 1 star The staff seem to be nice people, but I find the service unprofessional and the place – disappointing

€7 for a single peanut butter toast with four drops of jam 🥲 when I commented on the lack of banana as was mentioned on the menu, they just laughed. For just €1 more, you can have 2 loaded avocado & fresh salmon toasts at a different well-known Japanese inspired Brazilian cafe which also has the silkiest coffee for half the price. It was a sunny day when I went- they brought the sunbrellas out but didn’t open them. Maybe to have customers move on faster?

Great place to have a good cup of freshly roasted specialty coffee, whether it's free, espresso, long black or a latte. Good quality beans, great lamarzocco machine, skilled barista, friendly place. Several beans are on offer any any given time. Stay in or take away. We ended up having many drinks from there. Highly recommend. One of only few places for good quality and fresh coffee in Santiago's old town.

What an incredible experience. The cafe is intimate and wonderful and the staff were so nice. The food was amazing and the pour over was one of the best I've had this year!! A must visit...

Fantastic coffee, lovely staff & they are very happy to let dogs in. The cinnamon buns with cheese on top were utterly gorgeous too. Cheers guys

Absolutely fantastic coffee. The Barista knows her craft well, and is an expert in making tasty coffee. There are also some pastries and other breakfast options available! Highly recommended, the best coffee in town by far.

Great spot for brunch/breakfast! Delicious fresh food, friendly service on a beautiful street in Santiago. Minor issue was long wait times as it was crowded, but they apologized and the food was well worth the wait. The yoghurt and granola bowl was amazing!

Really good coffee and a good tasting oat milk cappuccino! I can highly recommend the pecan croissant. They serve it warm & crispy with some crunchy pecans on top and a tasty cream inside. I came back to eat it again. It’s lovely to sit outside but they also have cozy seats inside. The staff is super friendly. Thanks for having me (twice).

Great little coffee shop with a nice outside terrace. Had a great espresso and cortado. The eggs were super delicious, with tomato and onion.

Amazing coffee place as an additional reward after completing the Camino! We had perfect coffee and the food was very tasty as well (we had toast with tomatoes, jamon and avocado and a scramble, loved both). Highly recommended!

My all time favorite place in SDC for coffee, breakfast and brunch. High quality ingredients, from the olive oil to the bread to the tomatoes, etc. Super cozy, beautifully decorated, lovely owners who have put a lot of love to the place. There’s something really special about Ratiños.

Not just great coffee. This is our go to café in Santiago. Top breakfast and brunch menu, I highly recommend the vegan "eggs and chorizo" option (trust me, and I'm not even vegan!). Quality coffee is at the heart of this place but there's so much more, including craft beer options. Friendly staff and dog friendly, and clean toilets (high up on my list!) there's not to dislike about this place!

Cool coffee place in the very center of Santiago. Great variety of coffee, I loved the filter one. Quiet and comfortable enough to work with the laptop or just enjoy great coffee in a cozy place

Great coffee shop! Perfect iced coffee and in a great location, close to the Cathedral but on a much quieter street. Also +1 for having Oat Milk 🙌

Excellent ice latte! Although outside of the menu they were happy to make it! Super cozy place, at first you would expect something very touristic but coffee is great! Worth the stop, will return when back to Santiago!

Google maps will say you have arrived a few doors before you're there, but then you see this cute little shop and can relax. There is limited seating inside and tables outside, which is where I sat. I had a sore throat, so I ordered hot tea instead of coffee, but it was about two euros and perfectly brewed. I enjoyed getting to sit outside and people watch while I sipped. The staff was busy, but friendly and accomodating. Good place to sit and sip before you continue your day!

Can’t say enough good things about Ratiños. In addition to delicious coffee, the breakfast offerings are out of this world. Our crew ordered the eggs, yogurt with fruit and granola, a croissant, a cinnamon roll, the avocado toast and the PB toast and wow—rave reviews all around. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for something beyond the typical Spanish breakfast offerings.

Wow. Wow and wow. Amazing coffee and snacks including incredible avocado toast. They made me a vegetarian one and it didn’t come with meat. Amazing. Definitely with a special trip.

Excellent coffee, homemade breakfasts (including outstanding tortilla española), tasty fresh-baked goods like empanadas, Fritz-Kola from Germany, friendly service. Actually the best coffee we’ve had in Galicia.

For a specialty coffee place located in Santiago, the quality of the cappuccino is good. However, compared to places in bigger cities the skill level of the barista and the flavor of the coffee was lacking sadly. The cappuccino tasted overextracted and lacked its signature "crema" layer, instead it was topped with the foamy part of the milk. Apart from that, the barista asked me if I wanted to put cinnamon or cacao on my coffee, something I have never been asked before in a specialty coffee establishment.

Cozy cafe, decent coffee but what shines the most is the location & it’s owners. Great vibes!

Lovely little café where the coffee is a bit more like the gourmet coffee you'd find in the trendy coffee shops of the UK, US, Australia, etc. Quite small inside, with some cool art. I like the fact that it's not on such a busy street, so sitting at the outdoor tables is really nice for a chilled vibe.

🫤 Nice waitress but bad coffee. Capuccino was very weak and so was cafe con leche. It just tasted like hot milk. Not a gourmet coffee stop, so if caffeine fix is what you are after go elsewhere.

😠 The service there is horrible. I was waiting for waitress to take my order maybe 15 min till I call her. After that she told me to move to other place (that’s ok because I was alone) but she didn’t clean it before and even after bringing me food that was burnt btw, she didn’t clean the table neither...
