Got a proper motherfu**ing bøf sandwich here, really big, lots of of everything, but cooked very well. Tasted amazing, had to take it home. Others at my table got the silt and loved it. Very nice staff, and clean area. There is outdoor seating aswell. When we were here there was about 45% capacity filled, but we had reserved about a table ahead, as many times before without reservations it was full. But you can try your luck on a weekday early to get in. I’m not sure how busy it is any other day, we went on a Monday.

When we walked in, I noticed there were a bunch of business men eating then later we found out from a local, this was indeed their lunch spot. Not only that, I guess we stood out from the crowd, a local came up to us and asked us how we found this spot because only locals go here. Guess we found what we were looking for! Traditional danish food! We got a tasting which came with 4 courses and we were sooo stuffed at the end. As an individual who’s never had traditional danish food before, this was really good. The flavors are strong on the herring so if you’re not good with strong smell taste, you might want to pass. The steak dish was really good. It had lots of flavor and it was tender. The old cheese is also pretty strong in fermented flavor so if you’re not good with that, don’t order.

Very good place to try really good Danish traditional food for reasonable price. Friendly, smiling and helpful staff, big choice from menu. Big portions of well prepared, fresh and tasty food. Very cosy atmosphere. Nice terrace. Big and comfortable parking lot for clients. Restrong is really very busy, its better to book table in advance. Highly recommended.

If you want to try some high quality traditional Danish foods, this is the right place to go. I was told they have the best "Bøfsandwich" in Denmark, so if you want to do it right try it here. Some construction work in the area these days, but that is just temporary and kudos for them to keep open doors. Very big portions, so do not come here unless you are really hungry

Very tasty food specially if you like or want to try traditional Danish cuisine. Nice and helpful English speaking stuff. But you have to make reservation first to be served. This is kind of restaurant for locals so regularly you won't find tourists there. And this is one more reason to eat there :)

Went there the other day for lunch and got a shootingstar, which was tasty and in big size. The surroundings is like walking back in a bubble to the 1930/40’s Denmark. It felt very authentic and the staff were friendly and dressed in uniforms matching the surroundings. Will try it again for evening service later.

Super place for traditional Danish food. Building on many years of tradtion. I don't think it would be good for vegetarians! Service and atmosphere in top. Don't even think about " modernising" this place!

A really nice restaurant, with excellent service and a good selection of well presented and very tasty dishes. We had the herring platter for starters (with a generous measure of aquavit to add to the taste sensation), and for the main course, we had the shooting start and pepper steak. Every dish was cooked to perfection. Not the cheapest restaurant in Aarhus, but we'll worth a visit if you like good food.

Ok - you want a real Danish lunch? If you're in Aarhus, you have to try this! I did the stjerneskud (traditional Danish fish plate). One of the two best of these I've ever eaten in DK. The cold smoked salmon and the freshly peeled shrimp added a perfect twist to a delicious traditional lunch. With more than 100 years of tradition serving the working men of Aarhus, the portions aren't exactly small. My 16 year old son ordered the beef sandwich with gravy. He had to give up and ask for a doggy bag - proof that these aren't small portions...😀😀😂😂 Atmosphere - so much soul... Service - nothing to put a finger on.
