Good place to take a walk and taking pictures

Beautiful park on the Moesgaard University and Museum grounds. Lovely place to go for a walk or picknick and also close to the beach. The pictures are taken during the yearly Viking Moot.

For me, the best park in Aarhus. And the Thai house is next to a huge black walnut tree!

The walk in the woodlands beyond the museum and manor precincts is a worthwhile exercise leading you into some of the most gigantic trees from this part of Europe and back into history as to why the people chose to live there.

This is a place south of Aarhus, famous for its museum, countryside and historic. You can come here to get inspiration, to get educated or just to relax. Mostly, I am coming out here to take long walks in the forest and to visit the archaeological places of viking settlement. Further on, I go down to the beach and walk back to Aarhus Town. Bus number 18 is driving from Aarhus center out to Moesgaard. Mostly 2-3 times an hour. There is a cafe-place in the museum. Close find a replica of an old church built close to the museum. You will enjoy a walk in this area because of its park, its charming and interesting architecture and nature.
