Situated just over the road from the sea, the deer park is a great way to spend a couple of hours. Take a stroll in the beautiful surroundings and get up close and personal with many semi tame wild deer. Take fruit and veg to feed them and you will literally have them eating out of your hand. Free parking around the outer edge. Highly recommend.

The park and the reindeer are beautiful. Entrance is free. Be very careful with the reindeer that if you have food on you they will chase you until you give it to them. Watch out for the antlered reindeer.

Beautiful free park with freeroaming deer. There is no cost to enter. Also there is a nice beach just outside. Not just a couple deer here but full herds. There is also boars but they are inclosed due to being dangerous but all deer where Friendly even the ones with horns and walked around. There is a handicap toilet in the park so no need to worry about that. There is a lot of deer and so a lot of droppings, the entrance is also a bit muddy so don't bring your favourite shoes or clothes. Only downside here is you are not allowed to feed the animals. They have own food but if you open a backpack don't be surprised if the whole herd stalks you.

Special place. It is not only the fact you can get so close to the deers, it is also a really beatiful park. In addition, a small farm of pigs exists in one corner. You can feed the deers, but only with carrots or apples. No bread please!!!

It is a fun place to visit and walk around. The deer, as I expected, are quite tame and used to people. This is also due to people feeding them which is not allowed, so they can come up to you to check you for food. The deer looked healthy and peaceful. Do make sure you park inside parking spots, because the police are checking.

Just amazing. You will not find such an amazing place in the whole world. Kudos to Denmark for the huge investment. A beautiful and very unique park of stags that run freely in the park and allow people to pet them. The park is clean, tidy and a spectacular natural site.

It's a really nice park with free entrance and parking. We were afraid there won't be many animals, but got to see deers right at the gate and then everywhere we went. A lot of them are very friendly and get really close to people. There's no fencing that prevents you from getting close to the deers which is really cool (just keep in mind if you're with children). Definitely worth a visit if you're around.

So happy we came across this deer park randomly! It's free, the deers are happy and we can feed them carrots and apples. Amazing experience!

Brilliant experience the deer just come up to you. Smaller children would need to be kept close as the deer can be quite forceful if they feel you have food for them.

Great place to chill, the park is big, there are many benches and a toilet. My tip, don’t show the food to the deers at the entrance or you will end up surrounded.

It is such a nice place to walk and spend time with your dear ones. I recommend to bring apples with you to feed the deers. Everybody brings carrots, so if you want them to come to come to you bring something else.

Beautiful park with friendly deers. Pro tip: if you gi make sure you have a bag of carrots in your backpack so you can interact easier with the animals. There is a store that sells carrots but are a bit more expensive than a supermarket.

Nice deer park with free access and free parking up front. Just follow Google navigation to this point on the map, you can park in front of the gate. Nice for a walk. (From this parking it's also only a 5 minute walk towards the infinite bridge)

Wonderful park! I have never seen that many deers at once and from so close. If you want them to approach you, bring some veggies: plums, carrots, apples (they're particularly fond of the latter).

Free deer park with loads of roaming and resting deer, and occasional views of the sea. Very pretty and relaxing spot! You can bring carrots to feed the deer. Don’t expect to touch them, they are still wild animals and not tame! If you don’t have a car, it’s a 15-20min walk from the nearest bus stop. Can visit the beach front by the deer park as well. Would recommend especially if deer is uncommon where you’re from!

A charming park full of deers of all personality! Some will come up to you for a pet (or maybe asking for food), and some will be skeptical and stay away from you. Either way, it’s a fun place to spend time walking around, with or without family. There seems to be enough parking space, entrance is free, not sure if there are toilets. There are plenty of picnic tables for you to take a rest or bring a picnic!

It is a very relaxing place. Only thing that is changed is you are not allowed to feed the deers anymore.

Beautiful park. Not allowed to feed the deer at this moment, but they gladly accepted pets. Really big area, lots of deer, lots of deer poop also so dont bring your fanciest shoes unless youre ok with stepping on some stinky cereal. Only con is that you might get sad when its time to leave

A very nice and quiet place to walk and relax for a bit. The deer in the park are very friendly. Please do not feed them as it is strictly prohibited.

There are some places in the Earth that you just forget the time, location and even yourself - just let the beauty, gorgeousness and simplicity of the nature capture you. This place is one of those rare and unique places that lets you to experience hugging a deer, feeding him with an apple! Deers are extremely friendly, don’t hesitate to come as a family. They come to you to look for, if you brought anything for them - so don’t forget to take some apples and carrots with you when you visit this remarkable and free entry park. It’s so easy to access by public transportation from the city center, but there is also a free parking lot. Have a nice detour around the park to reach out the Infinity Bridge which is another attraction point worth to see on your way back. If you happen to be in Aarhus, don’t miss this park - go there, make people go there :)

Like a fairytale- Bambi park as my kids called it :) Lots of cute and bold deer you can touch. You shouldn´t feed them but unfortunately saw a lot of people giving them carrots. The park is vast and enables a nice walk among the deer. Free parking in front of the gate. The Infinite Bridge is close by so I´d recommend visiting that too.

This is a lovely nature reserve with picnic tables and benches so you can sit and relax while the deer mill around not far off. They are very calm and don't seem to mind people petting them. One visitor brought a big bag of branches and leaves to encourage the deer to approach and interact so it was relatively easy to get some nice close up photos. I think the enclosure is much bigger than the part we saw - unfortunately we didn't have enough time to stay and explore. Our kids were excited to touch the animals and it's a great way to spend time with a young family. There was space to park, right outside the entrance and it looks like it is free, which is very convenient. You could leave your car and take a walk to Aarhus if you're not bothered by the distance.

Marselisborg Deer Park is an absolute gem in Aarhus! The park is beautifully maintained, offering a serene and picturesque environment perfect for a relaxing day out. The highlight, of course, is the chance to see the deer up close. They roam freely and are very approachable, making it a wonderful experience for both kids and adults alike. The park is spacious, allowing for leisurely walks along well-marked paths through lush greenery and forests. There are plenty of spots to sit and enjoy a picnic while taking in the natural beauty. The information boards provide interesting insights into the wildlife and plant species in the park. The park's location is also a plus, as it's easily accessible from the city center, and there's ample parking available. Additionally, it's free to enter, which is fantastic for such a high-quality experience. Overall, Marselisborg Deer Park is a must-visit for anyone in the Aarhus area. Whether you're a nature lover, a family with kids, or just looking for a peaceful escape, this park has something for everyone.

Really great place. It’a free and it’s got many benches and amazing views. FYI, it’s not allowed to feed them September-January. There are 4 types of animals walking freely, and then some behind a fence. Many birds as well. There is a huge lack of trashcans though, causing people to throw cigarettes and trash on the ground, which is really sad

It was such a lovely experience! The deers are so beautiful and friendly. Pro tip: bring your own carrots/apples. There is a place where you can buy carrots but it is quite pricey considering the price of a bag of carrots in a supermarket ☺️

A must visit place to visit when go to Aarhus. The park is very big and has many deers inside. We went there with a bag of carrots and deers were happy eating it out of our hands. Went there with my 8 year old daughter and she was excited to see deers so close. Park has no entry fee and is in waking distance to Infinity bridge. There is a direct bus from Aarhus station and took is around 20 minutes to reach.

I mean. It's a park. Where you can go see deer. Just bring some nice vegetables (inform you what deer eats) and bring it. They will come to you and want to get the food directly from your hands. It was awesome.

Nice calm place, some of the deer even let's you pet them! But if you would like to do that you need to give them some food. People are allowed to feed them fruit and vegetables which dte deer know and are welcoming everyone at the gate.

We brought apples and gave lots of butt scratches! We definitely had to cut the apples into slices for them to eat. All of the pushy male deer are mostly at the front entrance, so wander towards the back of the park and you’ll find the calmer female deers and their babies. 💚
