We went for the 5pm to 6pm event, perfect as an introduction to Fado (without the expensive meal). With only a handful of people it was a great intimate event. Really good value including some basic tapas and a drink. But the singing was superb! Totally recommend it!

3 of us attended the Fado show. The 3 musician's were excellent. The food was atrocious. We had fish bacalau which was clearly frozen and barely heated. Problem was they were cold, both the 1st ones and the replacements. The sea bass fish was ok but the potato mash base it was sitting on was sloop. The risotto dish was cauliflower mush. Gezzz. How hard is it to plate up edible dinner. Spoilt the evening. Recommendation is go somewhere else.

It was our first time to visit Adega do fado, what a wonderful experience. From the moment you come in, the receptionist was so polite and when you enter the dinning area, it is neat, clean and modern but with the special touch on all the walls displaying photograph frames of the Adega Machado's history. Really beautiful. The fado singers were very good, but I always enjoy more hearing the ladies sing, theirs voices touch the inner of me more. The food and wine was great. I have been to 4 different Fado restaurants and I will classify Adega Machado to have been the best in all reasons. Thank you to all that contributed to our well enjoyed evening. Came here for Fado Inside the Box and enjoyed every minute of it. The performers were all brilliant and passionate about Fado music. We also had some tapas/snacks and great wine which was included as part of the booking. All for €17 per person! This was a good introduction to fado and I can highly recommend this for any first timers to Lisbon.

We went to their concert called Inside the Box with our three children while visiting Lisbon. The concert is from 5pm-6pm and is a perfect way for families to experience this passionate historic music. Although it was early in the evening the quality of the musians were exceptional. I can not recommend the experience enough.

The place is really traditional and is highly recommended if you want to see a presentation of Fado, the traditional Portuguese music style. The dishes are a bit expensive tough, so prepare yourself to spend at least 50+ Euros per person for the dinner. In general, I really recommend the experience, very unique.

The FADO music was brillant and also the enterpreneurs, but everything else was realy horrible. The degustacion menu's price is under 50 Euros on the website, but it was 60 Euros in the restaurant. The service was horrible, also the food. Poor ingredients, tastless, it was a joke to promote it as fine dining. We arrived at 19.30, but there was no music till 21.30. The music's time was aprox. 30 minutes in three sections. It's a joke. Lisboa is a wonderful place to relax and full of joy and kindness, except this place. Never ever go there. Thank's for the musicians for the greet fado music, it saved our evening.

Maybe we just picked the wrong day but atmosphere was horrible. Too many tourist groups, way too loud and stuffy. Good fado show but tourists kept filming and photographing the show and interrupting, despite the singer asking not to do it. Food was below average, cold fish full of bones, late from the kitchen. We ended up having dinner for 2 hours. Seemed to me as a tourist trap.

We attended an “Inside the Box” event, which is a 45 minute taster event at 17:00. The venue is elegant and stylish and the music was wonderful! We saw two Fado singers, one male and one female. The musicians were all fantastic and clearly masters of their craft. We were served a glass of wine and light but plentiful & tasty snacks. The late afternoon timing worked very well for us - I highly recommend this Fado experience.

We missed our reservation by an hour, and they were nice enough to seat us. I ordered a reasonably priced red wine, skipped the meal and enjoyed two Fado performances. Isabel Noronha was amazing. Wow! The staff/owner wasn’t the friendliest but I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. Everything fit just right to end a beautiful night in Lisbon’s Bairro Alto.

This is a high-end restaurant. Food is good and stupid expensive for a reason. It is an outstanding experience both the music and food is top notch. The acoustics is superb and the performance fantastic. If you come here be prepared for a stiff bill as you would in high-end fine-dining anywhere in the world. Why not five stars?? Because my water glass was empty most it the night. Don't need to be a classy restaurant to keep the water topped off.

Predinner snacks were rushed and plate was taken away before meal was finished. Main was served cold. My chicken was tough and dry. The chips tasted reheated. Very average meal. Entertainment the fado show was ok.

We had a great dinner with Fado Music and it was amazing. I loved my Mirrare Steak. The sauce was so delicious. And the experience of dining and listening to the great music created such a beautiful mempry of Lisbon for me.

This place you don’t go for their food but the amazing fado artists they have. We paid 120 euro a for two people and I must say I left hungry. But all is forgiven and means nothing when u hear the fado.

Place looked great. Unfortunately the early "in the box" show they advertised never happened, and they remain closed. Just an FYI to check them out first.

Too expensive for the experience. I have a chair broken while I was sitting on it quietly. One of the five dishes of our group was poorly cooked.

Love the venue, tasty food as well as great music about pricy though!

Very nice looking place and good fado singers. Very expensive and not so great food. Maybe next time I'll go just for the fado and have some nibbles, but not a full meal. Lots of better places to eat around this area.

Music was nice, but all three steaks came out wrong. Seems like management is in shambles when the place is crowded. Could also be severely understaffed.
