Most beautiful place in Fiji, had the best time! I did the waterfall hike and have no regrets. It was very very beautiful and everyone in the village was very nice and helpful :) I recommend checking out their website, it is very clear in what to expect, which trails you can choose, prices, and information! 🦋
This hike was an amazing adventure! The trail had some tricky spots, especially with the river water being high during the crossing, but it was absolutely worth pushing through to reach the stunning waterfall at the end. A huge shoutout to Liam, the Peace Corps worker, who was incredibly helpful in instructing us before we set off. The scenery along the way was beautiful, and the whole experience was unforgettable. Highly recommend for those up for a bit of a challenge with a fantastic payoff!
Awesome place to be at. I didn't even know that it's a National Park until a person visiting told me and I went along to discover with her. The long drive inland was totally worth it. Very mountaneous walk from Abaca Village to the waterfall. We had a guide all along. He took us to two waterfalls, we had Jamun fruit. However I feel the place lacks popularity and is underrated. Also, the tracks, road from the village to lodge could be taken care of. Overall, fantastic experience!
It took a while and a bit of struggle to get right to the Mt. Batilamu peak but was all worth it!!! There is also a Hut for overnight camping with cooking facilities but I assume prior booking needs to be made!!! Fitness is highly recommended!! It took us total 6 hours return.
Amazing views at the top! I didn't have an AWD vehicle but went slow and was okay. Wame was my tour guide and was both watching for my safety and extremely knowledgeable!
Tried to go in my hire car today it had rained its 5 km of dirt road to main entrance car couldn't make it have a National Park the best lm told and a shit Road to get there Fiji have all these young men doing nothing in Fiji the Government should start making some decent roads so the Tourist can get up to these places very disappointed was looking forward to the walk drove 45 km from Nadi to get there 22/12/24
The best place to take a walk! They just accept cash to pay entrance. The waterfall is so refreshing!
