Tamberma Abeokuta

Restaurant

👍 When I saw there was a Tamberma in Abeokuta, I just had to check it out. I loved the one in Ibadan and I wanted to see if it was anything like it. They have different vibes. At this Tamberma, the restaurant is super cute and classy looking. They have a nice bar and a small pastry showcase. Outside... People often mention nice, restaurant, good, Tamberma, Abeokuta, space, time, pool, great, cool,

When I saw there was a Tamberma in Abeokuta, I just had to check it out. I loved the one in Ibadan and I wanted to see if it was anything like it. They have different vibes. At this Tamberma, the restaurant is super cute and classy looking. They have a nice bar and a small pastry showcase. Outside is a different vibe. It’s closer to what Tamberma Ibadan is. On some nights they have a live band playing. You can sit by the pool and let the evening breeze wash over you. There’s also a lounge/club. I had dinner at the restaurant two nights in a row and I love their food. The staff is nice and friendly too.

A very lovely restaurant with top notch customer service. These guys are good. Tamberma is a lovely restaurant with a great scenery. It’s located adjacent the sports club at Abeokuta. It has a convince to and we’ll organized car space for about 30-50 cars. They deal with Nigerian, Chinese, Indian and continental meals. There have seat sets for 2,4,6 and more people depending on how many people come together as a group. Their meal is really nice and doesn’t take time to be served. Once order is made, about 10-15 mins before it’s ready. The staff also help with making choices of what you want if you are really confused about what you want. Their medium bowl can serve for two(dependent on how much they both eat though). Outside the premises is more like a lounge with a pool(I don’t think the pool is for use). It is an open space to have festive sand also chit chat. Overall, lovely place to go have that precious date or outing with your loved ones

Had dinner here, located at Ibara housing estate just a stone throw from the popular Abeokuta sports club. Google map was incredibly helpful to get me to my destination Great parking space. Aesthetic environment. The entire restaurant is divided into 2. You can decide to stay inside if you wish or outdoor. Inside was more of an eatery and outside was more like a bar with Dj, pool and waiters. Well I decided to stay indoor. Had milk shake (Vanilla flavor), chicken and chips which was perfect, except for the chicken which was a bit burnt (reason I’m not giving a total 5 star rating) I should get total value for my money, Chapman for dessert and bottled water. The waiter was very nice and courteous. Always attentive and even asked if I enjoyed my meal. Wrote down my complaint about the chicken and apologized. Generally it was a great experience and I would visit again.

Fantastic experience. The food is delicious. The options for food are so numerous (Indian, Chinese, Thai, Nigerian, Continental, but if you come with a large group, everyone can find something to suit them. The prices are so reasonable and similar to other fine dining spots in Abeokuta. You have options regarding the ambience you want. You can choose to sit inside, outside or in the lounge. Its a great place for intimate dinner or very large party. The decor is very ethnic and natural with lovely murals and potted plants. Since the place is new, the only suggestion would be for them to find a way to control the crowd and for them to try to manage the smell in the exterior which has a slight waft of sewage.

Basically, I would say I got value for my money spent here. The food and drinks were so nice and nicely prepared , the ambience was great also. They have an indoor and outdoor space. The waiter that attended to us was so friendly and accommodating, we didn't know what to order because they were different varieties to pick from but she recommended some of the dishes to us. We went there during December, the restaurant had Santa Claus 😅 and lot more to say but you could go see for yourself.

Beautiful ambience..very nice cocktail (I had the mudslide) Terrible food... Nkwobi is supposed to be cow leg... It happens to be goat meat here. Chicken and chips had barbecue sauce instead of ketchup. Dried lemon on cocktail???... Said it's for aesthetics... Yuck... Terrible dj and music choice. Lights kept going off... Overall bad experience on both visits

The food is awful, especially when compared to the price. Been there on 3 occassions and been disappointed each time. First time on my wedding anniversary they served some burnt mashed meat thing and called it a steak. Second time they served me a Ceaser salad that had cucumbers filling up all the space (dunno when a ceasar salad started having cucumbers or where the grated cheese was...)....and just now they served me a "whole" chicken that was missing half of the chicken, not to mention it tasted like road side peppered meat and not in a good way smh..... the ambience is nice but the crowd of dreadlocked boys walking in and out with dirty slippers leaves a lot to be desired... The service ppl also need training, terrible experience all round. p.s a day later, I am running tummy...and their food is all I ate yesterday....smh

It’s not a lousy place. It’s cool and quite especially when you get there early in the morning. On the other hand , it’s usually crowded in the night because they sell a different setting entirely , the outdoor settings that comes with beautifully set lightings and the aesthetic environment, paintings on the walls and on the trees are all given. Meals are both pricey and expensive, depends on your pocket , but with just #6,000 you can have a very good meal which will be worth it. The workers are very very hospitable, Mary attended to me and she never said NO to any of my requests including taking pictures of my friends and I and helping me get a charger to charge my phone . In other words, hospitality lives here too.

Unbelievable hangout spot in Abeokuta 😂😂 Great ambience and quite impressive menu (Local food, Continental, Thai, Chinese and Indian). Good price range as well with interesting desert options. It can get a bit rowdy depending on what day you visit, however there’s a sit out space as well if you prefer the outside view. It’s an enclosed space so nothing to worry about. The wait time wasn’t bad, food came in good time and the Thai meal was quite good. Good service as well from the waiters. Good for families, friends outing, date nights etc.

Beautiful place to visit! It would be nice if the pool is cleaned at all times to reduce the mosquitoes. Nice bar. Nice sit out DJ is good too

The only good thing about the place is the decor. Went to have lunch with a friend, being an Indian place, I stayed safe and ordered biriyani whichcame pretty quick. My friend’s food - pineapple fried rice - never came. After waiting 40mins, we called a waiter to know what was going on, she came back saying we should place a different orderWaitresses were not proactive. We had to go to a place go by. If you ever there, maybe stick to the basics. I could also barely feel the air conditioning.

A nice place, beautiful interior and designs. Great customer service. They have great and nice meals. I'm not rating 5 star cause i was denied of the wifi password while drinking at the open bar. And please the management should putting light at back where cars packed.

Tamberma is a place of beautiful and amazing ambiance, from the custom made bamboo theme, to the spacious car park, the arts and decorations, the African theme is just superb. The availability of variety of dishes across different cultures- Indian, Chinese, Nigerian etc is so cool. There's a place for everyone, from the restaurant to the lounge/ bar, meeting area, and also the outdoor area with the pool, it's cool. The pricing is affordable, you can work on a budget, I'd recommend if you're in Abeokuta.
