This hotel is 2 star 🌟 at best. For the hotel to only be 2 years old speaks to how the upkeep has been . The linens had blood stains on it. the bed is as hard as sleeping on the floor. The towel was old and dingy. The pool which they pushed as an amenity was so dirty. I am from America on vacation . I didn't expect 5 🌟 standards but these people don't care about this hotel as it shows in what they offered. Oh the food menu price and the price they quoted you at room service was seriously inflated by 1500 naira. Then they force you to buy their bottled water with room service. I am from
The states and only drink Nestlé bottled water. So basically they exploit their guest. Not good and just plain foul. Don't stay here.

The location is scenic. It's located on a hilltop so it looks beautiful from any direction. The compound has adequate parking space and there are security personnel all around. The staff are generally courteous but some girls at the reception are very saucy.
The rooms are rather overpriced. The furnishings of the room are not as aesthetically pleasant as the hotel corridors. The TV channels are very limited. No CNN or good movie channels for those who do not watch Africa magic but if all you want to watch is zee world and hipTV, you'll enjoy it. The door to the toilet is directly in front of the bed and it's made of transparent glass. Absolutely bizarre that anyone in the room can watch someone while doing number 1 or 2 in the toilet. Fortunately, there is an extractor in the toilet.
Positives: They serve free breakfast but you have to visit the restaurant or you'll pay N500 service charge. The bread and omelette is very dry. Plain omelette and no butter. The moinmoin and custard option will however fill your stomach very well.
The chicken and chips is super delicious. You will enjoy it. The restaurant is also beautiful.
There is also a small swimming pool and a gym.
Power and water supply are also constant and the air conditioner is great.
So, it's not really a bad place except if you can get a better location at a cheaper price.

Kind of weird settings the outside looks beautiful but the rooms settings look so archaic especially for the price. The price does not match the standard at all, no door between the room and and restroom. Customer service was ok but I wouldn't be staying there again.

The price of the room does not match its standard! There’s no door demarcation between the room and the restroom which makes it uncomfortable to use when you are with a partner. The interior is archaic and the bed is very hard, please consider changing the toilet seat.
The customer service is okay. But you can do better.

A little bit of hiccup when I wanted to check-in. Incidentally the hotel's website shown on Google maps is not controlled by the hotel so any reservations made on the website do not hold water and is not respected by the hotel.
The staff are extremely courteous. The rooms though small are clean. The bathroom can be made more befitting of the status of the hotel. The Wi-Fi is reliable and strong. The restaurant staff are equally friendly.
The environment is serene

A serene getaway environment from the noisy city center. Staff are courteous. Price is comparatively low. The remoteness may be a little concern if proximity to the main is a key consideration.
