5J. 1 year agoJune 12 Market brings back sweet childhood memories. I could remember walking through the market buying stuff (mostly foodstuff). It is without doubt the best spot to buy foodstuff in Abeokuta. Finding parking can be stressful most times, especially on the Market days and traffic too could be a pain.
5Mukhtar Oyelayo (. 3 years agoThis market is an ultra modern market situated in Pansheke Abeokuta. It consists of various sellers of various products and services. There is also a park or garage here, when you can board on to places like Ipaja, Abuja, Ibadan, Idiroko etc. It is a place for Students (of Mapoly) to do some daily shoppings and like.
4Ahmed Ademola O. 5 years agoOne of my most patronized market though costly as well as I never got to figure out their own market days. It's the closest to my residence in Onikolobo so I frequent this place. My love plantain makes me come there directly from home and I do buy fish and pepper too just to make quick stew
4Samuel A. 3 years agoThe pedestrian Bridge here is great and really helpful.
4Ibrahim A. 4 years agoThe market is named after the June 12, 1993 election. It started modestly but has now become so big and famous that it competes with other major markets in the town. All kind of wares is sold at this market. There is a motor park around the market for those traveling to Iyana-Ipaja, Ibadan, Ikorodu and sometimes Sango.
4Prevail A. 4 years agoA nice place to get a panoramic view of parts of Abeokuta. Excellent pedestrians' walkway with wheel chair access. Alaga Restaurant nearby with excellent cuisine and budget friendly prices. Good place for Nigerian jollof rice, Amala, both white and brown and fine Asaro ( Pottage). Definitely worth a visit.
