We alighted at this train station in Abeokuta. The boarding personnel was not that directional as we had in Ibadan. I think a little bit of education be given to passengers while waiting for the next train to know what to check on their tickets and information about seat arrangements especially for first timers travellers by train.

If you’re reading this in the year 2021, then you might want to read this to the end. 1. This train station 🚉, is still under construction. The dusty brown sand from here will fill your head ehn 😂 2. Don’t try and take bolt from the station to any where in the town, you will blame yourself. Lagos bolt drivers will look like saints here. 3. Approach the micra cars. They are more sensible. 4. Call your person to come and pick you up at the station. 5. Take lots of pictures. Don’t be shy o. 6. Allow train to stop before you start walking to the exit door. Don’t just carry your big head and start walking to the exit door when you hear “we are now arriving Prof Wole Soyinka station” Thank you.

The professor WS Rail Station is one of the 12 stations between the Lagos-Ibadan Rail Network. The station is one of the landmark infrastructure, as much as I'm critical of this government, this is a huge pass. Ameachi did something too, weldone minister.

It's one of the train station in the Lagos - Ibadan train in Nigeria. It was named after the Nigerian popular playwright, novelist and critic, Professor Wole Soyinka. It is a well built station with very modern amenities, the escalators are working as well as the AC. It is very comfortable as you wait for your trip. The toilets are clean and you have ports where you can charge your phones. Some of the facilities are not used yet such as the security door and baggage system. This might be as a result of the fact that construction is still ongoing. Hopefully, the facilities will be maintained very well.

I had the best time out here and during the trip from Abeokuta to Ibadan. This is a wonderful project and it'll be really cool if it can be expanded outside the current jurisdictions. It'll really be great if it can connect all the regional states and ease transportation burden on the road. Tips: Fly Business Class, it's worth it!

A beautifully designed train station with state of the art equipment and all. There are wheelchair accessible areas everywhere, there is even Christian and Muslim Praying rooms therein. The toilets are superb, elevators and lifts working perfectly, only what I noticed which weren't working were the wall clocks and as I ask an official of the station, he made it clear that the station has not been formally handed over, reason there a few discrepancies here and there... Cumulatively, I enjoyed traveling from there to Lagos today!

It’s a new train station in Abeokuta dedicated to Nobel laureate Prof. Wole Soyinka. The facilities in the station are modern and I like how clean the station is. Well organized but you can’t pay for ticket with your card, you have to pay cash.

Still under construction. Facilities are okay. You pay cash for tickets. No other option. You can only buy tickets on the day you are traveling. Ensure you come with a means of ID that will be checked. Come dressed for the cold. Facilities okay both on the train and at the station. If you, please arrange your pick up. The station is a bit for from town. If you are a bike person then you are covered. Bolt available but scarce. Taxis not available unless they have come to drop someone.
