I was charged $262 for a smoking fee when I don't smoke. They refused to provide proof. Stated they found ashes and cigarettes in the bathroom trashcan but when I counted that, that was impossible because I pulled all the trash, linens and towels. They refused to answer or return my calls. I have stayed with Marriott almost exclusively and the robbery and unwillingness to communicate with me has been unreal. I'll never stay nor recommend anyone to stay here.

This hotel is horrible. Over $300 for one night and I can’t even see the tv. There is less than a foot of space between the bed and the wall. Whoever configured the room is incompetent and brainless. The bed was entirely too high. I got a Charlie horse trying to climb into it. Once you make it on the bed, you can’t move. It’s like lying in quicksand and no matter how much you try to get comfortable, you can’t. The person who configured the room must be related to the person who made the bed, because they short-sheeted the sheets. I had to rip them apart to get them to come up past my bellybutton. I would not recommend this location to anyone, and I will never stay here again. Also, there are NO USB plugs next to the beds. WELCOME TO 2023!

Only hotel that we have ever stayed in that kicks you out of common spaces repeatedly at 10:30 pm and midnight. Rude and overpriced for what they actually offer. We've done Ripken baseball for 4 tournaments and 100% will never stay on site again.

The rooms look older and outdated. Paint was chipped off the wall, crumbs on the bed. I had to switch rooms. The bathroom had soap scum on the shower head and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in some time. The conference room, game room and lounge area was gorgeous, clean andcomfortable. We were able to go on the field and play kickball and it was magical. It was nice experiencing the field and they played music while we played.

Terrible hotel. Plugged sink in bathroom. Broken AC. Request for room change denied, “fixed” after an hour of waiting. Brakes again in the middle of the night, waking me up at 2 am and not fixable. Front desk mentions that that room breaks all the time and they plan on getting it properly fixed someday. No hot water. Planned maintenance at 730 am, which they told me when I checked in. Go to shower at 530 am and find no hot water. Reply from front desk - oops, guess they started early. Very poor experience.

Brian Yealdhall was the most helpful guest services manager ever. We chatted on Friday and he helped my family out with our stay and didnt' forget us. He went above and beyond all questions we asked and I am truly thankful to him. The hotel was great and our stay was perfect. Thanks again Brian!

Management and reception went above and beyond to make my family’s short stay memorable! I would highly recommend staying here.

There are two hotels connected via a hallway so guests benefit from having a bigger fitness room and restaurant, two concierge desks, two snack & sundry stores, and more. The hotel is in the middle of the Cal Ripken baseball complex. During baseball season, the AA Aberdeen Ironbirds play games here. Hotel is baseball themed to add to the atmosphere. Depending where your room is, you can get varying views of the ballpark. The lobby and patio overlook the ballpark fields which make for a nice morning view. Restaurant has a hearty breakfast selection and serves a variety of Starbucks coffee and drinks. Room was clean and spacious. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Way too expensive just to stay next to the Ripken experience. It’s a standard if a little run down Courtyard. Rooms definitely had signs of wear and tear. The noise is the worst. The hotel says it has quiet hours but they are not enforced. Kids and adults are screaming and running through the hallways at all hours. It’s delightful to have kids banging on your door at midnight and then running off. Walls are also thin and I could hear the people screaming next door. The service is ok to poor. Had a very rude checkin experience and to top it off our room wasn’t ready so my son had to change in the public bathroom to get ready for his baseball game. The front desk wouldn’t hold our bags after I waited for 45 minutes in the lobby and had to drag them back out to the car. This is our second time staying here, and I won’t do it again. Or any other Courtyard. There are plenty of better hotels just down the road if you are coming to Ripken. Also the “arcade” is essentially a casino for kids with carnival-like games that just take your money and are too hard or rigged to give prizes. No arcade games in there.

The location was perfect. That’s about it. I had a BLOOD stain on the pullout mattress. I showed the front desk, they placed a cover on it. absolutely disgusting and needless to say did not allow my child to sleep on it. The door handle also fell off.. I was stuck in the room until maintenance could fix it. For the amount of money I spent, completely unacceptable. I have been waiting for the manager to call me and nothing. I left 2 messages and still no return call. I plan on calling corporate.

We took the family to stay at the Courtyard by Marriott in Aberdeen for a baseball tournament. Check-in was quick. The lobby was clean and the staff was professional. Unfortunately the lock on our room's door was broken which is why I gave it 4 stars. A maintenance worker came to fix the lock but after 4 hours, it still wasn't fixed. Thankfully the front desk staff and manager were responsive by getting us into another room so that we could enjoy our experience! We had no problems after that. The view from our room was awesome! The pool and gym were clean, just like the entire facility. Their breakfast offered enough selections, even for a picky eater! This was our second trip there and we can't wait to go back again!

Our original room was not cleaned only 2 ice machined worked and not the one on our floor. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. The room was nice. I will stay again

Great location obviously and staff was friendly. Rooms were musty and terrible air quality. Many people were complaining. Place needs an refresh for sure.

Meh. Room key cards lost magnetism like 3 times (even keeping it away from phone/keys). Bedroom door didn't close fully unless you really 'forced' it closed. No free wifi. Was here for 2 weeks for work (2 weeks in a row, 2 different rooms). Room wasn't cleaned a single time during either week (didn't have a "service room please" door tag either). Hotel is fine, staff is friendly, breakfast is good, but... "Meh".

You have been warned!!!! So I came into town for a one night stay at this hotel. Woke up the next morning to my vehicle and multiple others in the parking lot on cinder blocks with their rims and tires stolen. Advised the hotel about the situation and they informed me that they do not cover vehicles on the premises for damages and I was pretty much out of luck . Spoke to corporate and they were unhelpful and let me know their insurance does not cover vehicles on the premises. With that being said I was left to pay for all related damages in addition to multiple night stays at the hotel. If possible choose other options for lodging in this area. Pictures are attached to back up my claims.

Location was unbeatable for The Ripken Experience. Pool was great for kids, but very loud for adults. Some sound deadening would help. Food was good, continental breakfast, indoor small dining selection, and outdoor. County rule for drinking was a hindrance for adults with the fenced in area being ok, but not at the picnic tables outside of that area. Another set of elevators would be worth the investment for customer convenience. Some attention to detail for maintenance issues needed (showerhead, tiles, exterior door key card locks). Definitely the recommended location to stay for Ripken tournaments despite any issues.

I did have an OK stay. However my first night was very cold and did ask the front desk to have engineering work on the room heater. I was gone all day and the heater was not fixed. The front desk clerk was going to offer my first not and no charge however I have not seen any follow up regarding that credit. Please reach out to me with any resolution. Also PLEASE check heater in room 219. Hopefully it can be fixed by next fall. I will be traveling back to Aberdeen for work and would like to stay at your hotel again. Thank you, Kevin

Horrible experience with the front desk supervisor and haven’t arrived even arrived yet! I booked a room for my family of 4 in April 2022 for tournament in September 2022. My reservation confirmation specifically states that my family, 2 adults and 2 children, are booked for a king bed and a pull out sofa bed. I was able to proceed with a booking the reservation and received a confirmation email. Today, I called to confirm my reservation for the upcoming tournament. I was informed that the room has a one bed and a twin pull out sofa bed. No where on their website states that the pullout bed is a twin size that accommodates one. The front desk supervisor was not helpful and explained that there was no way to change the room for a larger room. She stated that there was no availability in the hotel nor their sister hotel. I explained that it was their error that I was able to proceed with my reservation, which clearly states that my room is for 2 adult and 2 children. The front desk supervisor offered no apologies and explained there was nothing that she could do. I asked what would I have done if I had traveled for hours to find that we would not have had a bed to sleep. She stated that I should periodically check to see if something opens for next week’s tournament. Maybe Marriott should be more clear on their website and not permit families of four to book rooms that do not accommodate them. I would have been at a loss if I traveled for more than 4 hours to find out that we all would not have all had a place to sleep.
