Quiet little cafe. Staff were friendly and food was good. Interesting atmosphere with parts of the old wall showing along one side. Theres some booths to sit at but they do take away as well. The Ceasar Salad was excellent, but the pan cakes we felt were slightly over priced. Still, was an enjoyable experience as the main street is just filled with the usual coffee franchises.

Delicious food for a very reasonable price and the staff were also polite and attentive. All in all a very pleasant and enjoyable experience.

Stumbled on this little cafe when we were in need of coffee and breakfast last weekend. The coffee was excellent and the huge fry up didn’t disappoint - but what stood out to us was the inviting, gentle atmosphere - the guys who run the place are absolutely lovely and nothing is too much trouble. Would highly recommend this place - it’s also excellent value for money too :)

I was pleasantly surprised when I went inside as the outside appeared a bit shabby. The inside was clean with a welcoming atmosphere. Food and coffee were good , I will definitely go back.

Super expensive for the service, taste and portions. Tasteless eggs, got a tuna melt, misunderstood the menu thinking it came with chips and the waiter never mentioned that chips were paid extra…£5 for a tiny bowl of chips!!! Stay away!

We ate here and the overall café is lovely and comfortable. We ordered a veggie breakfast, of course there was things on it I asked to change and replace with some chips and fry my eggs hard.... they did but my eggs were runny 🤷🏼‍♀️ so I asked them to cook them hard!! My plate returned with some cooked and one very under cooked I couldn't eat it and to top it off we were giving less than 10 small crispy chips. One plus though there red berry Herble loose tea was great.

Nice place to rest a moment. I had a Chai latte and it was very delicious. They have tables and booths and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Orders under 10 quid must be paid in cash.

One of the few cafe's to open @ 9:00...(not 10:00), and you could tell by the crowd inside and out. It's a smaller, but quaint cafe, with nice window seating to gaze out at that rare sunshine and help seat the surging patrons entering at 0915! . Our service was quick, the food (eggs Benedict and banana pancakes), delicious, and the coffee, even better! We'll be back, next time @ 0905!

We are tourists to the area, looking for a place to eat, staff have beautiful Italian accents and faces! Service was friendly , smiley, prompt and the atmosphere is really calm. 2 other locals were in there and the owner man appeared to have a really good relationship with them, he spoke about the passion he has for the cafe restaurant but how delivering has saved the business... Come in nd eat people 😍😍 we ordered he fish and chips which I wouldnt really rate, but I am so very fussy. My partner loved them, awesome place to have coffee and chill out... Also there are booths... I love me a good booth

Very polite staff, great food especially Mushroom Soup . It's always busy and is a venue for dancing in the evenings. I have had breakfast twice here in two years and it is in the top 5 of my list in Aberdeen. Coffee here is excellent. The menu is diverse and everything is made to a high standard.

The coffee was lovely and they were really accommodating to my vegan partner as we usually struggle to find places that accommodate his dietary requirements :))

Lovely place to stop for a delicious coffee, and in my case, some French toast too. The reason for my not giving 5 stars is the entrance. I managed to attract the attention of a customer to unlock the second part of the door to allow my wheelchair in, although the waitress did also spot me. It was whilst leaving I realised the concrete used to build a makeshift ramp was so steep that had I not tilted my chair back, I would have fallen out. Perhaps they can find a way of extending it, although I am fully aware it may be tricky. It won't prevent my stopping by again for some reasonable priced excellent coffee though!!

Stopped here for lunch during a shopping trip with my friend. Lovely welcoming place with a cosy atmosphere. Was quite busy so we had to wait a while before being served. The food was lovely when it arrived and apologised for wait. Was a good selection on the menu and some lovely looking cakes in the display. Would definitely recommend.

I had an incredible experience at Union Café & Bistro. The service was top-notch, with an exceptionally friendly staff that made me feel right at home. The food was beyond amazing – I tried their eggs benedict and Bacon bap, both of which were not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a meal. Supporting this local gem is a must, and I can't wait to return for another delightful dining experience.

Popped in for a breakfast while passing the door. Lovely breakfast, pleasant + helpful staff with relaxing surroundings. Would recommend and will be back. *No toast or scone at my request as I’m trying to keep the carbs down 🙂

Wonderful breakfast! This was our first place to try a "full Scottish breakfast" and it was great. Everything was cooked just right, and I'm not sure I've ever had better mushrooms. Their black pudding is great. My favorite menu item was the porridge - perfectly warm and sweet. Combined with the gentle ambiance and friendly staff, this was a really great experience and a great way to start the day.

Walked past here a few weeks ago and decided to try it. Came back with my youngest daughter on an afternoon, first impression was quiet clean cafe, menu is good lots of choice, all day breakfast was the choice, cooked fresh. Was a good breakfast (black pudding was a bit thin) tasty and well cooked. Staff (2 guys) were pleasant and efficient. While we were there had quite a few customers mostly for coffee but did have a woman and her son (about 13) came in and asked to use the toilet!!! She was shown to the toilet and never bought anything or even said thank you when she left. Will come back here again. Well done guys…..

Was looking for somewhere to stop during a cycle and found this place with a bike stand outside, was able to enjoy my lunch while watching my bike and passers by through the window the two guys serving where friendly and efficient and the spicy soup just what I needed on a cooler day after a ride. Good to see independent cafes on union street not just large chains.

I was there in early December 2022 when it was snowing for the 1st time, definitely a perfect place to enjoy a cup of hot drink at the heart of this lovable city, cozy interior, so much easy to access from everywhere, the food was great, not to mention their warmth service as well ❤

Small cafe in the centre of Aberdeen just a few minutes walk from the train station. Inside is a relatively small cafe, but one with a lovely atmosphere. Good selection of tea's and coffee's are available along with freshly made cakes and hot/cold meals. The coffee which I will add is very fairly priced is always tastes great and arrives quickly. One of my favourites to visit when arriving in the city.

Should really update and follow your time schedule for accuracy. Suggest people to call in ahead if you can. Today (Wednesday) the info says open at 8am, got to the Cafe at 8, the chairs hadn't even been taken off the tables. A man just walks to the door and puts a hand written sign on it, " sorry today we open at 9am" without any explanation. Would have liked to support a local Cafe. To our disappointment, we had to walk somewhere else instead.

Had been meaning to try this place for a pre cinema breakfast for a while based on good reviews and good looking food through the window. Went in today, waiter was pleasant and prompt taking our order. Food arrived fairly quickly. I had the full breakfast and my wife had the eggs benedict. The full breakfast was nice enough with the exception of the eggs being very overdone. Other items were fine if not standout. The eggs benedict was good however again, both eggs poached completely hard. The sauce was nice. Also the side salad felt a bit out of place. Nobody came to check throughout our meal how it was. Overall a fairly average experience and for the price I feel there's better places to go so don't think we'll be back.

Fantastic full breakfast with coffee. Daughter had pancakes with syrup and my partner had sausages in a roll and a pot of breakfast tea. Great friendly service and worth every penny.

Overpriced, slow service, Extortionate, Ice Latte £5 as pictured below. Not even icy,

Nice casual atmosphere, OK food though expensive (in my opinion).... £10 for a breakfast... No better than a Wetherspoons breakfast which is approximately £4 cheaper and includes unlimited coffee refills whilst Union bistro charges nearly £3 for each coffee you order. Would visit again but as a last resort given the prices

Coffee yesterday was brilliant so was my lunch. This morning porridge was very good but Crossoint was overpriced. Coffee this morning was bit disappointing.

Excellent place for coffee and lunch. Toasted panini was excellent and the coffee ☕ smooth and rich. Prices very good, mellow background music and friendly staff.
