Stayed there last night, room 5. Excellent service, the owners are lovely, free tea and coffee in my ensuit room. Good quality bathroom towel and complimentary soap and shampoo. Couldn't fault anything, even the bed was super comfy. Breakfast was excellent 👌 Highly recommended, 5 ***** from me.

Excellent value for the money and the proprietors were very friendly and a good laugh. Facilities were basic but clean, WiFi good and the breakfast was absolutely excellent. I would highly recommend this place.

Fabulous, homely and welcoming guest house. Very clean, nice and comfortable facilities. Lovely white towels and bedding. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the room. Basic toiletries provided in generous sized bottles (shower gel, hand wash, shampoo). The grout and sealant around the en suite was all smart and a clean white colour. The toilet brush to me is a sign of attention to detail and I was very impressed to see a nice clean toilet brush with absolutely no sign of previous guests! Breakfast is worth the cost of the stay in itself. Cereal, fruit, juices, yoghurt, cheese, toast etc all available. Full English, Irish or a variation of these was cooked to order. Perfectly cooked, generous portions and enough to set you up for the day. Absolutely yummy! Location was the only slight downside. It was a good 20 mins walk uphill from the city centre. We sometimes got a cab, but they have to drop you off down the road as the property is situated at traffic lights. However, there is no noise from the road when you are indoors so it does not detract from enjoying your stay. Highly recommended and thank you so much for our extremely welcoming stay.

Stayed here for one night due to having a hospital appointment in the area. The room was basic but a decent size. The room was clean and the shower was good. The bed and pillows were so comfy, which helped me relax after a 2 and a half hour journey and feeling anxious about my appointment. They have parking around the back which i could see my car from our room window. Cant fault the hosts they were both really nice, friendly and welcoming. Breakfast in the morning was beautiful. It was that good i ended up eating way past when i was full lol. We had an appointment the following week which we were going to book back in here but unfortunately they had no vacancies. The location was ideal for us plus it was only a short walk to where u could go for dinner and drinks. I would recommend this place and if i ever need to come back to the area this will be the first place i will be looking at for accommodation.

Charlie and Evelyn are super hosts, taking care of your every need. Very comfortable and clean. Start the day with a hearty cooked breakfast or something lighter. Great location for the city, the beach esplanade and beyond, being on one of the main bus routes, however, there’s ample free parking if required. Recommended stay for whatever your occasion.

A really lovely B&B in a quiet location to the outskirts of Aberdeen City centre with off street parking to the rear. A short 15 minute walk into the city makes this the perfect location for business travellers and tourists. The hosts; a lovelier couple you could not meet who make you feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble.

Of all the guest houses and B&Bs I’ve stayed at, this one is by far the worst of the bunch. The room at first glance is fine. But upon closer inspection the truth begins to reveal itself. There is mold in the shower, rust on the towel rack, the door to the bathroom was rusty and barely hanging on, the room was super dusty, and the beds themselves (box spring and mattress) had massive stains and were so old that they’re crazy uncomfortable. Not to mention that when we asked where we could do laundry, the owner offered to do it for us- which was great! However, once we got it back (10 hours later) more than half of our items were still very wet. When we asked if she could toss it back in to the dryer for a little more time, she got extremely defensive stating that one of her dryers was not working and it was costing her “a fortune” (which we were not previously informed of). She suggested we throw our clothes over the radiator in our room... This forced us to find a laundromat to finish drying our clothes. This was especially stressful since it was 9:30 at night and we need to pack to leave the next morning. Had this been communicated to us, we would have gone elsewhere for this service. Outside of that (and the reason for the second star) is that breakfast was hot, made to order and delicious. Save yourselves the headache and go somewhere that’s been dusted in the last decade.

This nice guest house is our home for 2 nights. The (bath)room is neat and clean, good beds and no lack of rest. The hospitable couple (Evelyn and Charlie) deserve ☆☆☆☆☆. They go out of their way to accommodate special requests. The breakfast is excellent in every way. Free parking just around the corner.

Excellent breakfast and very clean throughout and only about a mile out of the centre with no major hills.

Very happy with our stay here. Great hosts. Super cozy room and a lovely cooked breakfast. A homely retreat. Only 9 mins from the esplanade and a super retail park. Behind is a Sainsburys and across the road is a McDonald's. Very handy B & B. Would recommend highly. Will use here next time in Aberdeen. Parking available too at no further cost.

The hosts went out of their way to accommodate my vegan dietary requirements for the breakfast. They were extremely friendly and attentive in general. They also provided secure bike storage - good for travellers with bikes.

Argaig house is a great bnb can't recommend the place any more. Place is spotless, breakfast is great and owners are very welcoming. A very affordable and meticulous choice of location. Thank you for making my stay very comfortable.

Great Host helped me of bus seeing was disabled had ground floor single bed was great even though thought was to small was painkillers from si made no difference sleeping on double bed I chilled there only thing say guy next room was kill joy I can't help cant help if snore as loud as flower of Scotland I'm bfg the owner of B and B spoilt me highly recommend was value you money shower was amazing Scottish cooked breakfast by far best b and b breakfast much better than run of mill travelodge , Premier inn , or Hilton or Hoilday Inn this place 100 % better rated 12 out ten owners Evelyn and Charlie so proud there Grand daughter who played for Aberdeen fc girls under 14 got cup final future bright for woman football in Scotland. Special mention Evelyn helping me to bus top get bus back to Aberdeen bus station you went extra mile for you didn't need to do that thank you very much. Plus having patience with taking me as big friendly giant that am. Very satisfying stay thank you .

Evelyn and Charlie were the most gracious hosts! They are knowledgeable and friendly. The property was clean and inviting. Parking is available. Evelyn is an excellent cook, and Charlie has all the information about the town. I felt welcomed from before I arrived until the end of my stay. Tea, coffee, and biscuit service were available in my room. I am already planning my next visit. Arkaig Guest House is the place to stay even if you only want to get away for some peace and quiet.

Very friendly and helpful owners. Three of us stayed, we had motorcycles, then allowed us to have them in thier garage overnight. Room was very comfortable. Don't have the breakfast unless you want to put weight on, it was outstanding, first class Scottish breakfast.
