    Had a meeting here. Wow the water glasses were so dirty that I could see stain in every single cup. Overall the staff were not so professional nor client oriented. The sound system was not ready after several inquiries before the meeting, remained unstable and problematic thorough out the meeting, and the staff seemed too unmotivated and was very slow in solving the problem. Wifi was fast, stable and good. If everything were clean and if the staff are kinder, more organized and attentive, the perceived quality would increase greatly.

    Wifi has improved a lot since my previous stays. Service staff are helpful and friendly. Good breakfast spread. Dinner salad bar would be good to improve as some food items tasted sour or about to turn bad

    Hotel side is fine, confortable and clean. Staff is nice but hell, 40% of the menu is not available... Regarding the price, this is not acceptable..

    No concierge at the hotel. No one helped me with the luggage. I have to take my own luggage from the car to the room. international hotels should give travelers travel plug, but here they are asking for extra money for that. This is not a 5 star hotel. It is a 2 star. And the staff doesn't know English at all. Kindly avoid this hotel at all coat.

    Its a nice hotel, nice friendly people. Well equipped bar, very nice bar tender makes amazing drinks. Buffet was good. However, was very difficult to communicate since anyone hardly speaks or understands english. French speaking.

    Worst service ever. I kept asking for iron and they end up telling me after the 4th call to get it myself. I could have gotten it myself if they said so in the first place. Also the food is bad in the room service. I ordered risotto and pasta bolognese. The WiFi is very bad

    I haven't stepped out of my room so I'm unaware of the hotel ambience and pool. However I'm sure they must be very pretty. The rooms were comfortable and clean however the wifi was pathetic, even after the IT person tried there was no range at all, it kept disconnecting and connecting at its own, I had to sleep so I couldn't spare much time for it. And anything you ask for, the service is delayed, not just me, my colleagues witnessed the same too. I ordered a sandwich as there was no pizza available, it was okay. The staff were okay. I couldn't find Mosquitos in the room, so well maintained. It's just the wifi which made my stay sufferable. I wish they had better wifi service. I was too tired to explore any other facilities the hotel provided. If there'd be another time I'd definitely visit the pool side and more. I hope to have a better wifi connection too.

    The rooms are good. Restaurant is improving, Sunday brunch buffet is excellent. Internet is very bad. Usually you won't be able to access from the room. Room service is catastrophic. After 65 min, a simple request for a hamburger, a beer and a piece of cake was not delivered. Only for these last 2 reasons, I will advise you to avoid Novotel unless you have business on the Plateau.

    The WiFi in my room was not working fine. I called the reception. My stay was for nearly 4 days and I had to complete my job and communicate with my family, friends and work. Inspite of language barrier, Mr. Joel from the front office assisted me in finding a room. He kept checking the vacant rooms where the network was great and found one room where the WiFi was just great. He escorted me to the vacant room to check my approval. I was indeed very happy with the service and assistance provided by Joel. Thank you for your help and making my stay seamless. I hope u go a long way in your profession.

    personnel does not speak/understand English. no hot water for 8 hours. killed 7 mosquitoes in the room. on second day, when i asked for a shampoo, they asked my passport!?! view is good on the south side of the rooms. when you call reception, they hardly answer or they hang up the phone.

    I had a restful weekend. Great place for a business person or a short trip and don't want to spend much. Great buffet for an affordable price compared to other hotels in the same area. Only issues are that some stuff did not work I am sure probably previous occupants had something to do with it but I told the reception hope they fix those stuff.

    Location is not in the best part of town. Rooms on level1 are dank, musty, carpets are disgusting. The smell was horrible. Levels 2 and above might be better. Mosquito's in the room. Breakfast was OK but fairly standard. There's no TV in the room either. Hot water was hit and miss. Sometimes good, sometimes cold. As someone with a bad back I found the mattress comfortable and pillow OK. Internet was at times brilliant and at times horrible. The gym was decent enough, pool area decent and lobby/bar generally good. There's definitely better options in town. I wouldn't return.

    Cockroaches in the room, which was laughed away by the reception, someone came with no ability to speak English, checking if the shower can provide warm water....; the cockroaches seem moved on, as I hadn't seen them again..., drains seem in need of proper gaurds, etc, keeping such bugs out of the rooms

    It was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I am a regular traveller, and this is by far the worst hotel ever. During my 6 nights stay, there was no water in the shower twice and I tried to take a shower before leaving for the airport and there was a sudden water cut. I tried to call the reception several times, but they didn't even pick up. Never again.

    Environment is beautiful, peaceful with an insight over lagoon. In one word very good for rest. Buffet is excellent! People are so friendly and helpful. hot chocolate is amazing. Keep it on ! I long to have an another unforgettable stay over there.

    95% staff cannot manage English at any level including reception. Nothing works and it all comes together as a disaster. For French speakers I assume it is Ok.

    Beautiful location. Very nice view of the river. Friendly staff. They speak French fluently and some of them speak English too. Decent pool and gym.

    Bad service and the front desk can’t even speak English properly! I ordered room service and it took forever to be delivered to my room! Not to mention the price is quite expensive comparing to the food quality. And the internet is so slow and unstable. I couldn’t believe this is a 4-star hotel because it’s not! I am not happy at all.

    The hotel is well located in the central. The rooms were OK and had basic need though they need to do a proper deep cleansing of the property. The coffee mugs in the room were dirty with coffee stains and some food stuck to it. The breakfast buffet was basic with western and local food. The food doesn't really have any taste to it, thanks to the pepper sauce they served which makes the food better. I wish they could served sausages for breakfast. The bakery section was good.

    Rooms are super expensive...I stay there a night with a Cameroonian friend..mostly everything looks perfect but the prices are way beyond people like us lol.

    Hotel is not bad but at rooms is missing some maintenance...the room I was missing the support for the soap at shower...internet is not stable... People are kind, breakfast is very good and room service as well... The gym is well equipped and the swimming pool also good... I would suggest a bit more carefulness with the rooms, room furniture and fittings

    Hotel location is good and traffic is avoidable in many cases. Rooms are old but overall nice and convenient. Lagoon side is strongly preferable. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful.

    Overall, it was just okay to stay in this hotel. Only annoying thing was very bad connection of internet like 30mins to watch movie and 20mims to wait till got connected again. However, connection of internet was good in the lobby, if you want to do something relative to work, better do it in the lobby.

    The service was generally good. Please make sure the non-smoking areas are demarcated from smoking areas and each area should be clearly ans visibly marked. Please put up No Smoking notice on each non-smoking floor and area.

    My experience was awful. A group of us flew in from around the world and hoped for a pleasurable experience. 2 members in our party booked suites, which curiously, were both given out to others. The staff tried to pacify us but instead offered downgraded rooms. We asked to see the manager to explain what sort of compensation would be offered and were confronted by the most obnoxious, rude and unprofessional individual (a GM apparently) who told us "there are plumbing issues in the suite. You can stay there if you want". This was at check in and the stay only got worse. The air conditioning was not functional in 30 degree heat. The pool was filthy. The gym was filthy. The low running air conditioning: when it did function, we all got upper respiratory tract infections probably from poor air quality. On our penultimate day, one of the lifts failed whilst we were in it and dropped half a floor. I genuinely would never even walk past this hotel again talk less of staying in it. Absolutely horrible experience and ruined a well deserved holiday.

    Cockroaches in the bedrooms… Really bad service: check in and check out takes a lot of time for something done by the client through a QR code! More than 45 minutes for two workers to check in 5 people! With no place to sit. Airport pick up and drop off not worth it. They had me wait at the airport after an overnight flight for an hour for no reason and then, when finally on the way to the hotel, they returned to pick up note passengers they had forgotten!! On the way to the airport the driver stopped at ANOTHER HOTEL to pick up people who weren’t even then. I was called in the middle of the night to let me know my shuttle was ready, even though I asked for one a FULL hour later and I certainly did not ask for a wake up call…I was also disturbed in another occasion. The food is good, but repetitive. I wouldn’t come back.

    A group of us came to Abidjan to watch a few of the Afcon games. A couple of us had booked suites since October. Upon our arrival, the individual at the reception desk politely tried to usher us to another room, non suite. I sensed there might be an issue so I refused and mentioned I would wait till my suite was ready. After about another 40mins they eventually mentioned that there were no suites available. To compensate they offered me a regular room at regular rates. I explained to them that, that was not compensation and asked to speak to their manager. After a few minutes, Jeffrey FAYAD pops out. One would assume that the first thing he would do was apologise for his alleged 4* hotel not providing me the suite I paid for. But instead, in an extremely condersending and rude manner he offered to put me up in a suite that was still being renovated and was currently leaking. Things got heated as he seemed more interested in expressing his opinion instead of resolving my issues...mainly me not having access to a suite i PAID FOR! Fortunately the front desk manager was able to listen, and offer appropriate compensation for services not provided. She also made the extra effort with in sending some complimentary fruits and cheese to our room. That was kind of her and i appreciate her efforts. But even with all this the hotel was in a state. The room was aged, dirty and mouldy. The air-conditioning kept breaking down as well. It was horrible. Gym was in bad condition and pool tiles were discoloured. The final straw was the lift we were in dropping half a floor whilst we were in it. We left a day earlier and the refused to refund me for my last day as they said it was prepaid. I plan to dispute the while stay with my credit card company. I really hope the management of Novotel take a long hard look at this location. The facilities and current general manager are not befitting of your global brand.

    Great place to be and enjoy nice food ! The rooms are nice and clean The staff is amazing especially the waiters and waitresses. If you ever want to have a great stay, ask for Tano Morel, Rosemonde and chef Désiré! Nice people to be around with !
