It's in an excellent place for a weekend lunch or dinner with family and friends. The ambiance was great, the location perfect, and the Menu selection was ideal. Although any food delivery takes longer than expected, mostly our appetite will go by the time, the chef should concentrate on the taste to get Five Stars for sure.

Located close to the lagoon shoreline, in what seems like the pool area of one the houses that make up this neighborhood, Indian by Nature was an unexpected surprise. For starters, it has the best service I have ever witnessed in Abidjan! Waiters and waitresses were always on top of things and checking if everything was as we wanted, but never overwhelming. The restaurant is distributed in two areas, one around the pool, and another which one could say is roughly facing the lagoon. Furniture and decor are in dark, elegant shades. Several fans do their best to cool down the Abidjan heat. The long menu makes choosing something difficult, but, as in many Indian restaurants, it is separated into types of dishes (fish/meat/seafood/vegetarian/etc.). We had Jeera Aloo and Gobi Matar Massala, both a feast to our taste buds, which we paired with Plain rice. They have an interesting wine list which will cater to most wine enthusiasts and several cocktails.

Best place to have Indian food with fine dinning experience.

  • 4/5 Alissa S. 7 months ago on Google • 64 reviews
Wonderful setting, both indoors and outdoors! This restaurant offers a beautiful interior for intimate lunches and dinners, but also has a vast garden and pool area, opening out onto the lagoon. The decor is warm and welcoming with several touches of Indian decor. The food was quite good! Very delicious, and the portions are just right. If you love spicy food, be sure to mention it, because medium wasn't spicy enough for me. The food does take quite long to arrive as well, so be patient. One thing was quite odd, they have a Chinese menu... at an Indian place... The service was really good too, but they seem to be overstaffed, if that's possible. Lots of waiters hovering, but still great service. Strange thing though: the waiters don't bring the bills, nor do they collect the money themselves. It's done by what seemed to be the manager? Kind of weird. Overall good experience, tasty food, great service and beautiful atmosphere!

Best Indian food I have had in a long time! This place is a gem in Cote d'Ivoire. The atmosphere was great and the service was even better. I will definitely be back before I leave Côte d'Ivoire.

Definitely it stands up to the name. the taste is authentic, just the perfect amount of spices we Indians like. Music compliments the peaceful place. There are various sitting options available, whichever suits you. Service is fast, owner is polite and she ask for feedbacks which is a very great gesture. prices are bit on the higher side but for the taste and portion, i guess it's justified. loved the beetroot kebab here !!

Great place with outstanding Indian food. Bring your kids for lunch on a Weekend - they can play on the Green while you enjoy your meal. We had always a great time.

Not the best curry I have tasted but it’s good, and the ambiance is quite nice. Nan is a bit thick and not as what I expected; but maybe it’s the flour here..

Really excellent curries, left unable to walk, we were so full. Really good menu with lots of choices and they do the favourites very well. Very good place for families but also couples, enough space that it does not feel crowded and children can play in garden. Highly recommend, looks better in life that the photos. One waiter couldn't be bothered but others and the owners quite attentive. Do be prepared for the heat.

This may well be the best restaurant in Abidjan. Invariably delicious, excellent value for money, beautiful location, and all-around good service. Recommended in particular for vegetarians and vegans, who may have a hard time finding dishes that suit their requirements in Abidjan (and in Ivory Coast in general).

The location is lovely but I was not impressed by the food! Was so looking forward to my favourite butter chicken but it just had too much cardamom, it was so overpowering! The dal tadka was bland, the tandoori chicken was OK as well as butter naan was ok. Nothing to sing home about to be honest. I did not particularly like the Kulfi as well! I don’t think we’ll be going back.

We ordered kadhai paneer and tawa rotis. The rotis seemed to be made out of refined flour and not wheat flour. The food over here is expensive compared to other Indian restaurants. Liked the chutney and aachar that came with the food.

  • 4/5 Prasudh U. 1 year ago on Google
Great ambience and good food! Was there a couple of days ago with a bunch of expats from all over. Would have been a 5* if the bread were served along with the curries! Nope, the rotis and naan were served like 20-30 minutes before the curry so we needed to order more fresh bread.

Amazing location and ambience. Friendly staff. English speaking waiter available. The place is reasonably priced and has good authentic indian food. Definitely a worth a visit when in Abidjan

I went to this restaurant lot times, the food is great but it comes too late as it takes a lot of time to cook. And the manager is so bad that his behavior is pathetic. Specially we don't go to that restaurant because of the behaviour of that manager, Indian Manager. I can't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The food and the location are good. However, I used the delivery service and I recently noticed that the delivery service fee is way overpriced compared to regular reliable delivery services available in Abidjan. I was charged twice the delivery fee that a regular delivery service would have charged for the same distance.
