    I travel for work; i'm in hundreds of hotels every year. This is by far the worst run hotel i've ever stayed in. I've been booked here multiple times and i'm constantly disappointed by the incompetence of the management. If I was GM of this hotel, I would be extremely embarrassed; but that is the difference between being mediocre and being great. DON'T BOOK HERE.

    Awful service, I was ill, and made to wait hours for room service, being sent food I didn't order, no urgency to fix. Treat customer as they really don't matter. If you're looking for staff to treat you with dignity, it is not here.

    I always feel at home at Azalaï. I discovered them in Burkina Faso and experienced their service in Mali besides Cote d'Ivoire. I'm yet to experience them in my own country Benin - My mum did say she liked the atmosphere during a seminar or gala she attended 😀 Back to Abidjan, the room is comfortable, the food and the staff from the security officers, receptionnists to the restaurant and cleaners, they know how to make you feel at ease. They are always ready to help. I hope they will continue maintaining, improving and innovating to keep/raise the standards to stand the competition. All the best!

    Overall experience was good. Ambience is nice Access to the local market and shopping mall is right opposite the hotel Breakfast is well served with experienced staff.. Reception staff are really helpful and supportive. 😊. Keep up the good work.. 👍🏼 Need improvement on technical support.. Check in took a very long time and got the room afrter 4 pm , due to IFCON a lot of rush at hotel. Wi-Fi doesn't work out at all in rooms and service needs improvement 😕

    The hotel stay was excellent. Rooms are very comfortable. The hotel staff is great as well and very polite and approachable.Great hotel. Everything was nice. Me and my colleagues would surely choose it again next time we visit Ivory Coast . Great location, great service,.Good value for the money. Breakfast was delicious. Very comfortable. Would definitely recommend Thank you Azalai Hôtel.

    Not a bad hotel the location is good right across from the mall which has everything you need. Service is okay for the most part even tho there is a slight language barrier.

    It's a lovely hotel in the heart of the city. It's pretty close to the hotel - about 20 minutes away. Has a gorgeous pool which unfortunately was closed at the time I was there due to construction next door.

    Was in Bar lounge in evening for Proffesional meeting…had just a 🍺 and they had live African traditional music played which was really so awesome, liked it too much, i had the best relaxing evening after whole day work…impressed me so much that sharing short video..to present a glimpse❤️

    I stayed here for 16 nights, only ate supper here on the first night and it was not good, I took the fillet beef with fries, price was 16000cfa and I did not even finish the meat, it tasted like the cow was taken out of some gutter it had been in for weeks, and I asked for medium rare but got well done steak, the menu says it comes with pepper sauce, well it does not, comes with some creamy sauce and chillies, when I asked about the pepper sauce they said it was pepper on the steak. My room was cleaned daily as normal but some days I would not get a fresh towel, they would take the old one and never give me a fresh one... The same for the shampoo and soap it was a hit and miss to get it. There was no wifi the first 4 or 5 days of my stay due to some fault. Very much cheaper to walk over the road and buy burger King and water or cold drink from the hypermart. Update 23 jan 2024, The menu is still a very basic menu not a lot of options to choose from, also upon checking I had no toilet paper in my room, one would think that a fourstar hotel does check that before someone checks in, I called room service and reception with no answer, I ended up walking in the corridors to find the cleaning lady and asked her for toilet paper. In my opinion this hotel could be better.

    The worst welcoming I have ever experienced in my travel life and generally in Abidjan. I waited 30 minutes for a transfer. Then I arrive 3:38PM way past the check in time of 3PM by 5:30 PM I was not allocated any room, and none of the staff was bothered about this. No care in the world about customer service nor delivery.

    Please always check the freshness of the food before you serve it to costumer, there one time that i eat a fish that i think it cannot be eaten anymore

    Before making my reservation i was little conservative of making my booking here reading the reviews. But finally booked here since this was close to my meeting place and wanted to avoid traveling in traffic. Since i read lot of poor reviews about the service level i kept my expectation very low. Surprisingly my experience was good in terms of service at reception, rooms and even i liked their breakfast. I was satisfied with my overall experience. Mall is just across the road and is very convenient for any shopping needs. Next time definitely will book here considering my current experience in Jan 2023.

    Azalai, you should improve, Novotel is coming next to you. Hello. My hotel reservation was done by the company and sent to the hotel with PO on 2nd Nov 2022 for the period 4th Nov till 11th Nov. I came on the 4th for the check-in. The receptionnist told me that during the period 4th Nov till 11th Nov, there are days that there is no room for me. I was sad since they had at least two days to inform the company before I came. I asked to talk to the manager. The receptionnist spoke with him and they give me the room for this period. It is bad experience with the recpetion (For Azalai: Review your customer interface and interaction management). Second thing: during the breakfast, I asked if the hotel can serve "Bissap Juice, a well known juice in Abidjan), the restaurant chief told me that they can bring it to me with non-friendly manner and that we can not accomodate all the cusotmer. I waited for the juice but without getting it. I can agree that we can accomodate all the customers, but the manner counts. The Restaurant staff should be well trained in Soft-Skills.

    Only stay here if no other options available in Abidjan. Spent alot of time asking for basic things like an iron and surprisingly they couldn't find one in 2 days. Very poor customer service.

    Very Nice Hotel VERY Nice Rooms and View, also very clean Staff are very kind and serviable Nice design restaurent with good food. Big space for the bar, with confortable chairs and low volume music, good also for affaire meeting. Hotel position is in rhe center of all famous place and near, malls and not far from aerport. Thankx Azalai for the good stay that i have it there.

    Very nice hotel. Comfortable beds, great breakfast with huge variety. There are several drawbacks currently and coming in the future. First the pool in their photos is closed due to construction next to the hotel. Two larger buildings are going up on the east side of the hotel which eliminate the view of the sunrise. During this stay there was a conference going on and the WiFi service at the hotel is not sufficient for the amount of guests currently in the building. I stayed here a month ago and the WiFi was perfect. I do like their staff and the hotel bar prices are reasonable and they have a good selection of items. My next trip to Abidjan I will stay in this hotel.

    Very Nice and cosy rooms. Beautiful view of Abidjan. Excellent staff and speak English and guide in selection of foods, however Very Very limited/No options for vegetarians in the menu at all. As I was discussing with one of staff about frequent clients. More than 30 to 40 % is Indian clients. During my stay also I have noticed special vegetarian facing problems for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. I hope there will be actions on it and have vegetarian Indian cook.

    The client service during the reservation process and during the stay was the worst I ever experience around the world. They do not answer or confirm emails, they did not wait for me at the airport, being booked. Cancel my booking and make another one to avoid paying a fee to the reservation agency. They charge for every request, slippers, bath robe (15,000), 2 hours late checkout (from 12:00 to 14:00) 30,000 XOF. We were 15 companies in the hotel, 1 week, having conferences, lunch, etc. and no single client service possitive attitude. I requested several times to speak with the Reservation Manager, but it is the same old trick: please come back later and he never appeared. They are so greedy and have a miserable attitud towards the client. We will never more be in this hotel. ANSWER. The typical answer text very fast just for marketing issues and try to wash your face. Why not did the same during TWO days that I requested during my stay??

    I actually was here for a dinner meeting. The service was good. The food was both continental and local. The location was very good. Just that i had to wade through the traffic of Abidjan fo so long for a very short trip. I finally got to spend some weeks at the Azalai. The experience was nice.. The room are very comfortable with a touch of class. The staff are very helpful and nice as well.

    The rooms are quite nice decorated as well as spacious enough. I visited this hotel several times and have the impression that the service, except the room service getting worse every time. Especially the front desk and the porter. It seems that these ladies and Gentlemen forgot that they are working in a service position and getting paid for it.

    Have a prepaid hotel booking for 5 nights with this hotel. Flight got cancelled so moved to the next day, the hotel would not let me shift/amend the dates to accommodate the flight cancellation. I didn't ask for money back I just wanted it to be adjusted since I obviously couldn't fly in on that day as initially hoped. What type of hotel will punish a soon to be customer for actions that are not within my control? What type of customer service experience message are you sending? Needless to say if I had read a review like this describing how inflexible you are I wouldn't have booked your hotel. You all have been warned.

    For a very expensive hotel it is rubbish, Check in takes forever, booked room for my wife and myself, only one towel in the room, when asked for another towel I was told you only booked for one person so have to pay 10,000 cfa for another towel. The shower was broken and no mount for the shower head, Never have I seen a hotel that is so tight they request you to pay 20 plus usd for another towel, I would never recommend someone to stay here.

    Nice clean rooms of good size, but very dimly lit. I don't know why each tiny light has to be turned on individually - it takes a while to find all the switches to turn them off at night! One of the lifts wouldn't go to my level so had to keep sending it away so another could come. This was still not fixed after 9 days stay. Bar area had friendly polite staff and good food, although expensive and very noisy.
