Nice discovery! The restaurant was full of Indian customers when I visited. Food was good, really big in portion, and the price is almost half that of typical international restaurants in Abidjan. Curry around 3000cfa. Liked briyani. Parotta tasted really good.

The hairless man with big beard is full of arrogance and attitude.the paneer Dosa has 1%paneer with 99%onion while asking him to redo without onions he cancelled the order without informing us. The coconut chutney was yellow full of oil while asking him he says we have beenserving this since 8 year. He assumed me a pakistani while i am an indian and he spoke our india is very big we make this kind of yellow oily coconut chutney. The idiot hairless man literally said "you womens are always complaining."while this was my first visit to the restaurant. The rest of the food served to us was average but this hairless man was a big jerk. The way he speaks to my rest of the fellow Pakistani friend was a matter of shame to me as an Indian

Best authentic South Indian cuisine restaurant with range of dishes and drinks . They have good taste and place is nice with great sitting arrangement. The food is very good and one will love it , on the part if service they lags little but manageable and one won't be disappointed waiting for some time for good food . Range of drinks available so one can enjoy it . Ample parking available , place is easy to locate . Price wise it's average not so upscale. Staff is good helpful and one expects warm welcome here .

Went to Malabar cafe for dosa with my friends I felt soo intimidated by this Indian guy/manger who simply lost his temper when one of my friend complained to him about her dosa and he started shouting on my friend on top he started accusing me that last time(THIS LADY )was complaining about the food as I customer I can complain if something is not right this is my right. I think he kept the grudge from my last visit which was 4 months ago . I didn’t reply back to him because it’s not my upbringing and I was utterly shocked. Iam really disappointed with the way we were treated by this guy this is not acceptable and we want you to be aware that we won't be coming back. We hope that you will take action to make sure that your staff behave ethically in the future with other clients.

A very good Malabari ( south west coast of India) restaurant in Abidjan. The South Indian food is excellent. Idlis, thosais and chutney avaliable apart from other goodies. The paratha and sambar is superb.

Very good food. Some items can be increased or added in the menu... especially hot beverages like tea, coffee. Can do very well if further focussed on increasing the timings and availability of food during the day time and during late evenings.

I would like to say about the Indian food in abidjan all the restaurant not only malabar in no veg category cause I don't eat veg most is worst and pathetic kind of serving. Yesterday I had ordered Mutton masala which was my 5th worst mistake in my life I had made cause I already made mistake to orders food 4 times in non veg things from other restaurants in Abidjan which was my mistake but in Abidjan indian restaurant are making fool to people with worst quality and with taste that I had never ate in India before. The price prospective food is not worth of 100rs also In Abidjan. Normally any dish of nonveg they charge 6000 to 7000 cfa which in Indian currency 800 to 1000 RS. I totally agree I'm not India but I can expect good tasty and quality food in this price point. In India if I can compare with one restaurant which is very high in standard Persian darbar there mutton curry is around 700 to 800 max and if you eat that curry you will forget whole world I bet this. But here in abidjan Indian restaurant they put quality so down with such expensive money pay and get the food quality like not even stall vendor. I can clear one more I'm taking all the restaurant name but recently ate your restaurant food so I'm writing here my feedback I don't know how you guys gonna take but seriously guys we Indians not like this we known for quality. It's my humble request please make some quality food. Thanks.

well, the only Indian restaurant in Abidjan which is different from others definitely in a positive way. it has south Indian dishes too ( as the name suggests ). the prices are on the justified side. the ambience is great, servers listen to your requirements patiently and they modify as per your specific requirements. the main manager greets you with a smile. i have visited multiple times and tried many of the vegetarian dishes available and i was satisfied with the meal. To the store owner: these are some feedbacks and not complaints which i would seek in my future visits. 1st, the sambhar, it's served in a very small bowl that too filled 75% with the veggies, mostly all my colleagues have to put aside the vegetables to have the taste of sambhar. no doubt the taste was great, but the ratios of soup vs veggies can definitely be worked upon. 2nd, the paneer was found to be a bit hard or maybe overfried on two occasions, please improve on that. rest, it was an amazing experience. and this place is highly recommended before any other Indian restaurants present in Abidjan.
