My
family
and
I
recently
traveled
here
for
a
family
reunion.
I
thought
I'd
give
my
impressions
as
a
handicapped
traveler
who
uses
a
mobility
scooter.
The
staff
seemed
very
professional
and
warm.
It
certainly
is
an
interesting
place
with
a
large
internal
courtyard
with
seating
and
plants.
As
for
the
room,
We
found
the
beds
to
be
very
comfortable
but
the
layout
was
a
little
strange,
as
one
of
the
beds
partially
obstructed
the
passage
from
the
seating
room
to
the
bedroom.
I
could
get
past
but
it
was
a
bit
of
a
squeeze.
There
were
enough
outlets
and
the
WiFi
speed
and
coverage
was
good.
The
bathroom,
though
small,
was
surprisingly
good
at
muffling
the
sounds
of
someone
else
taking
a
shower.
It
was
configured
such
that
the
toilet
and
bath
are
in
one
little
room
with
the
sink
and
sink
area
being
adjacent.
The
included
morning
breakfast
buffet
was
very
good,
with
the
options
of
make
your
own
waffles
and
made
to
order
omelettes
and
eggs.
It's
good
to
see
hot
breakfasts
coming
back.
The
use
of
the
open
courtyard,
rather
than
the
usual
sterile
large
room,
with
plenty
of
seating
made
breakfast
even
more
enjoyable.
One
thing
that
hurt
my
enjoyment
of
the
room
was
the
use
of
daylight
florescent
lighting.
Now
that
warm
white
LED
bulbs
are
available,
I
would
have
liked
to
see
them
used
instead.
In
addition
to
the
alienating
lighting
in
the
room,
small
dings
were
go
for
the
high
cost
of
beverages
and
snacks
by
the
front
desk,
and
a
finicky
door
lock
on
our
room,
and
the
need
for
better
layout
of
the
handicapped
parking.
I
would
recommend
this
place,
especially
for
families
and
get
togethers
and
would
stay
here
again
in
the
future
if
I
found
myself
visiting
Lubbock.
