If you purchase an item here make sure you love it. I have been hassled twice when returning items WITH a receipt. Most recently I went to return a pair of Sanuk sandals that would not stay on my feet. They would not take them back because they had been worn outside. (how else would I know they don't work but to wear them?!) I have returned shoes at Scheels and The Running Company when they haven't worked and have been worn outside. The manager kept saying they could not resell them because they were worn outside her first concern was for the store and she did not want to take a loss. I said she could send them back to Sanuk, she said she didn’t know if she could do that. I said I would just call Sanuk at that point she said she could call Sanuk for me as a favor. I asked how that would help, I can make a phone call. When I did call Sanuk they were confused as to how a retailer wouldn’t know they can send shoes back. They apologized and said it is very important that I be happy with my purchase. I will be sending the shoes back at my expense. Threads WILL take a loss, I will never shop there again. I hope it was worth it to them.

Jane and Chelsey were sunshine on a rainy day. They shipped a gift to my Mom for free and were incredibly helpful. Great selection of shoes,bags, boots and sandals. These days it's not so often we get to shop in a Happy Place!!!

I really love Birkenstock’s and threads has a great selection of them. In addition to the Birks, they have other great shoes and clothing as well. Last time I was in, I had a pretty decent visit, i got some great items, the gal that helped me was so kind, all around great shopping experience. I have found that most times when I go in there, the atmosphere isn’t super warm. Typically the staff doesn’t acknowledge me nor are they super eager to help (most places you’re greeted and asked what they can help you find, not here though), this could just be me as I don’t believe I am in the demographic they are trying to target. I do try to purchase my items online thru Birkenstock but, when I see something cute at Threads online, I do stop in. Bottom line, decent store just not very welcoming. ***EDIT I went back in a few weeks ago, I had the greatest shopping experience. Chelsea was so kind and very helpful. Extremely disappointed by the customer service the last several times that I have shopped at Threads. I have supported this store (previously at both locations) for YEARS. Have recommended them to so many people and bought a lot of shoes and most Christmas gifts there. The last two times I have entered the store I have had to ask for help even though there was no other customers and 2+ employees in store. Today I asked for help and the employee said I would need to look through the shoes myself to see if they had my size. I had already looked through before I asked for help. I asked her if they could order my size. She said “I guess we could order them for you if you really want”. No thanks, I’ll take my business elsewhere. Very saddened and disappointed in this once great local store!

Wow wow. Always impressed with the service and selection. We held a private shopping evening with my employees and it was perfect. The team was so helpful and flexible made it so so fun. All their products are so well made and comfortable! Some of the best shopping in Lincoln for sure!

My wife and I recently bought some shoes from this place and the staff is very friendly. We needed to do an exchange and they were very helpful. The prices are high but that is coming from a guy who mainly shops at department stores. (One hoodie was on clearance for $60, I could buy 3 hoodies at that price where I normally shop) If you've got the cash, you'll like this place. Only giving it 3 stars because I can't afford most of their merchandise.

This is the place to shop for all your Patagonia, SmartWool, Birkenstock, Chaco, (and the list goes on) needs! Though you can find all of these brands online and in department stores, I love that Threads is a one-stop shop for them all, AND I can support local. I have always been pleased with the staff and their knowledge of brands and willingness to help you find the perfect product. It's certainly one of my favorite stores to shop in Lincoln.

First time in the store since it relocated. I was promptly greeted by a sales associate who helped me find what I was looking for directly. The store is full of light, attractive merchandise and friendly staff. A very positive retail experience.

I just love this store. They have a wonderful selection of shoes and clothes. Quality, responsible and comfortable. A must visit for comfortable shoes for feet that ache.
