Probably my favorite place to kill some time in Atlantic County. Its a great open park for families, or just to go for a short hike. Its not extravagant but its a really nice place to hang out for the afternoon. Food stand and playground for the kids and plenty of different hiking trails to keep you occupied. Also offers camping which I am ashamed to say I still have not tried. For us locals who remember the "zoo" that once was here its a great place to remember your childhood. Fishing, camping and tons of events throughout the year make this one of the best gems in South jersey.

Definitely come here later in day when it's not as hot . Relaxing and beautiful to sit by the water . There's geese wandering around. Few people fishing. Most benches are UNCOMFORTABLE and old . They need to switch those out for something more comfortable. Most trails are dirt gravel so it might be difficult to ride your bike there. I'm glad I rode over though. Relaxing spot. There's bathrooms I didn't go inside them though.

Great little park and playground. It's fantastic for introducing children to nature in a safe environment that feels a little wild. The trails are exciting for adults, too. Lots of wildlife from egrets to chipmunks to turtles. There are bathrooms, trash cans, benches, a shaded area, a playground, and plenty of free parking. This is a great spot to pack a picnic.

Nice park. There are various difficulties of trails for hiking and biking. There are several lakes with wildlife. Some people enjoy fishing. There is a small playground for small kids. There are picnic areas and benches along the walks to take a break. Never had a problem parking. I believe there is an onsite bathroom but have never used it. Relaxing and nice time in nature.

Stopped at the museum. Learned a little about the history of Northfield. Always enjoy the nature walks through the park as well.

This park is an oasis. A place to get away and get lost in the beauty of nature. There are a lot of trails that go deep into the woods, with little streams sprinkled throughout. Kiddos don't like to walk? There are play and picnic areas for that. Love it.

I came here as a kid & even brought my kids there when they were little & man has it changed. They used to have a BIG Cat living there & deer you could feed...but I still enjoy myself immensely. Walked for over an hour...found my photo book of the last time I was there which was in the early 2000's (because he didn't believe me & it was his first time there) & even he couldn't believe the difference

Nice park to spend some relaxing time. I enjoyed walking by the water and watching the birds. Quiet and peaceful. Looks like a fun area for the children to enjoy as well. Would make a nice family outing.

Great place for kids& adults. Watch& avoid feeding the Canadian geese in parking lot. Bathrooms were spotless & had the smell of "clean" & was humid rainy day! Again I got to push another 50yr old+ friend on the adult swing with rain showers. Perfect day!

Birch Grove has a little playground good for kids, great water views, some cool fishing spots, and plenty of trails to stroll along. Bring a coat on a spring day because it’s breezy along the water. Also, good shoes in case it rained recently. There’s plenty of parking as well. Good place to clear your head!
