I
stayed
at
the
St.
Regis
hotel
in
Abu
Dhabi
during
ADIPEC
conference,
where
I
was
given
room
4211
for
a
five-night
stay
at
the
rate
of
200
Omani
Riyal
per
night.
While
the
St.
Regis
is
undeniably
a
super
luxurious
establishment
with
a
classic
design,
I
must
admit
that
I
found
the
cost
of
200
OMR
per
night
to
be
quite
steep
and
not
entirely
justified
by
the
overall
experience.
One
of
the
highlights
of
my
stay
was
the
breakfast
spread,
which
offered
a
wide
variety
of
options
to
cater
to
different
tastes.
Additionally,
the
warm
and
friendly
welcome
from
the
two
ladies
at
the
breakfast
area
added
a
pleasant
touch
to
the
dining
experience.
I
also
encountered
a
delightful
Egyptian
lady
(forgot
the
name)
in
the
restaurant
who
provided
excellent
service.
However,
there
were
some
notable
issues
during
my
stay
that
affected
my
overall
satisfaction.
One
of
the
most
surprising
issues
was
the
presence
of
small
flies
in
both
the
bathroom
and
the
room
itself.
It
was
unexpected
to
find
such
insects
on
the
42nd
floor
of
a
luxury
hotel.
Another
point
of
concern
was
the
room
service,
which
seemed
overly
intrusive.
They
frequently
rang
the
bell,
asking
if
everything
was
okay,
if
I
wanted
them
to
make
up
the
room,
or
if
I
needed
to
restock
the
minibar.
It
was
a
bit
unusual
for
them
to
continue
this
routine
in
the
late
afternoon
and
evening
when
the
room
had
already
been
serviced
earlier
in
the
day.
On
one
occasion,
I
was
in
the
middle
of
a
shower
when
I
heard
the
bell
ring
again,
and
to
my
surprise,
the
room
service
attendant
was
already
inside
the
room
when
I
went
to
see
who
is
ringing
the
second
time.
Thankfully,
I
was
wearing
a
towel
😁,
but
it
was
an
awkward
and
unexpected
situation.
Although
the
staff
member
apologized
and
left
promptly,
it
left
me
somewhat
uncomfortable.
Considering
these
issues,
I
would
rate
my
stay
at
the
St.
Regis
hotel
with
three
stars.
While
the
hotel
exudes
luxury
and
the
check-in
and
check-out
processes
were
efficient
and
handled
by
professional
staff,
the
overall
experience
was
marred
by
the
unexpected
inconveniences
and
the
high
cost.
One
of
the
hotel's
redeeming
features
was
its
proximity
to
the
beach,
making
it
convenient
for
evening
walks.
Additionally,
I
was
pleasantly
surprised
one
day
when
I
returned
to
my
room
to
find
a
welcoming
gift
of
macarons,
which
was
a
nice
touch.
Despite
my
reservations,
I
must
acknowledge
that
the
St.
Regis
does
have
its
merits,
but
I
would
recommend
potential
guests
to
weigh
the
cost
against
their
expectations
for
a
comfortable
stay.
