They saved my dogs eye from a deep and stubborn ulcer and treated a very resistant bacterial eye infection. Knowledgeable specialists who work very efficiently, make plenty of time for you and they go through your options and make the costs clear up front. My dog is an anxious soul and the nurses looked after him really well to make his time comfortable when he was in for operations. Photo of my older guy with his saved left eye!

My cat Buddy was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer three and a half years ago. He really was very, very poorly. I would like to thank Donald Wiggins for his expert care in looking after Bud as I am certain Bud wouldn't be here today without Donalds medical intervention which amongst other things, included chemotherapy. Today Bud is happy, playful, very handsome, has a good appetite, is very affectionate and is much loved. He is in remission and we do so hope this continues. He goes for regular check ups with Donald to make sure the cancer hasn't returned. I would also like to thank the whole team who work behind the scenes. The treatment Bud had and continues to have is first class and we are very grateful. Thankyou xxx

I brought my sick dog in to the emergency. We were given euthanasia as the only outcome and told by Vet Laura Conroy that there was a zero percent chance of any recovery and my dog had hours left to live. After taking my dog home to die against Laura’s advice, she made it through the night. Further investigation with my own vet revealed she’d had a pancreatitis attack. She’s now eating, playing and running round like a puppy again. I wrote an email to complain and have been told that Laura has done nothing wrong. Wow unbelievable but not a surprise as it’s what I expected! A story about more investigation was apparently advised. Not according to five of us sat there who can vouch that euthanasia was the only advise hence we took her home. Thank god I took my dog home or she would have been prematurely put to sleep thanks to Laura Conroy. I will be taking this matter a lot further as this is complete negligence. No vet has the right to tell someone their dog has zero chance of survival when it is incorrect. Then cover up and get away with it. I can’t tell you the emotional distress this has caused the family. Shame on you directors for even contemplating this to be acceptable practise.

Our young kitten had to but put down last night and was looked after by the staff at Woodcroft Vetinary Hospital. Every single person from the front desk to the vets was absolutely wonderful. They were professional, knowledgeable and extremely understanding and sympathetic at a very difficult time. They made a very horrible situation as bearable as it could be with their sensitivity and impeccable care. Thank you to all of you for looking after us both.

Absolute god-sends. Cat ate a bee & they not only advised as to what to look out for if we didn't want to bring him in but set us at ease when we though it was best to check. Quick, friendly and made sure we had all the info about what time look out for after his treatment.

All staff as part of the Woodcroft group have impressed me with their kindness, genuine care and dedication to the investigation, diagnosis and treatment of my dog, in particular Dr Kerry Billington. Full explanations were given at every step of the process and I felt very comfortable leaving my dog in the care of Woodcroft Veterinary Hospital.

Thank you for seeing Hugo so quickly the other night and a huge thank you to the lady on reception Amy who was really kind from the moment I phoned and walked into the hospital she was so helpful and very understanding of my concerns for my cat. We were seen very quickly and was made to feel at ease. The vet we saw was also lovely and very thorough in everything that she went through with me and Hugo is now doing really well.

Fantastic emergency vets were absolutely wonderful in every way. Sarah and Nicola whom were both at the reception desk on New years day evening and on the evening of the 7th January 2024 were extremely helpful and very genuine they were both very helpful. I also dealt with 2 vets Amber and Alan both of whom kept me updated regularly on the condition of my dog and options available . All the staff were compassionate, caring and honest. I know that they all did their very best to save my dog. Sadly in vain. Thank you to all the wonderful people that helped to look after Ruby during her 3 day stay. A great team. Must also add the vets are immaculate and so is the toilet. Bill ended up at ÂŁ6,000 but every penny spent was worth spending to try and save my dog. They kept me updated with costs all the way.

My dog, Millie, is such an anxious and nervous dog who hates going anywhere (vets, dog groomers). To watch her trotting in happy, to see Marta is a lovely sight and makes me feel so much more at ease. Marta is a lovely vet and obviously has such a lot of love for animals. Thank you

Everyone there was absolutely brilliant and so kind and helpful. My dog had fractured his jaw and is an anxious dog at the best of times and all the staff looked after him brilliantly. They also all took the time to very patiently explain everything to me and listen to me and answer all my questions and allay my concerns. All the staff were absolutely fantastic at what is a very stressful time and I cannot praise or thank them enough for their manner and kindness. They looked after Bailey like he was their own and were very thorough in their treatment and explanation of his aftercare.

Our dog was poorly this evening. Took him to see the vet at the Woodcroft Hospital at midnight. All the staff are amazing and the vet was so good and very informative. Luckily our dog is fine. Knowing they are there for us out of hours is amazing. Thank you all for your dedicated care and attention.

The level of care and customer service here is next to none. I felt so comfortable taking my anxious dog here for the first time as she was referred by our vets. Alison was absolutely brilliant, her calming approach definitely had a positive impact on our Cocker Spaniel Molly, and I truly felt like she had listened and understood everything I had raised concerns about. Her examinations were thorough and very detailed. The reception staff were all so friendly and helpful, and everyone else who we came into contact with were the same. Would highly recommend this place. Thank you

My mum a pensioner was so upset when her dog took ill at 11.00pm and took her dog pixie on Thursday evening 30th November . Was told her dog had settled down and was being kept in overnight so couldn’t see her . I think this is shocking next my mum heard was sorry your dog didn’t make it that will be £1700 .. we can put her in cold storage until you know what your going to do with her .. I have been consoling her all weekend .she picked the dog up on the Friday herself , I can’t honestly see how it cost this much as was told needed a heart specialist but there’s was on holiday . Then told May of been poisoned? Then told was pneumonia? So does know still what was wrong with the dog and charged £1700 for the privilege and wiped out her savings.. shocking would love a response…

Woodcroft vets were very helpful with my dog I wasn't registered with them as we had recently moved into the area. They were helpful and polite and managed to get me an appointment within two hours at the vet hospital. Very helpful.

Avoid this place wanted to put to sleep my daughters dog. Has now been treated at her own vet. All they care about is money. Very cold attitude Read the lowest reviews before taking your pets here

What wonderful caring people from the minute we walked in when our little yorkie lost her sight the staff on reception couldn't do enough to help they went above and beyond at a very difficult time for us and genuinely cared. Special thanks to kate who showed so much care and understanding and helped us come to terms with her condition .unfortunately nothing could be done to save Mayas sight but we have complete confidence in Kate and know she is in good hand's. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend them . Thanks to all at Woodcroft ❤️

Can't fault the vets treatment of my dog, who went in for surgery on his eye, but the admin team really need to work on their communication skills. I receive a final payment bill in December which I duly paid, so image my shock to receive a letter in April saying they had sent my details to their solicitor for non payment. When phoned I was told there was an issue with the insurance and I didn't owe them money after all only for this to later change to I did in fact owe the money. This took numerous phone calls and emails to resolve and probably cost more in admin costs than the outstanding amount owed. I'm astounded it went straight to being threatened with a solicitor when no one picked up the phone or emailed me in 4 months about the amount owed. Kerry in the admin team was particularly rude claiming it was my fault for not checking that a bill entitled final payment really was final.

This place just saved our little Yorkshire terrier X. She delivered two healthy puppies yesterday and this evening started to have a third which was the wrong way round and stuck with just the tail visible. The SUPERVET Gabe was able to remove it without surgery (still born sadly) and we were able to return home with mum and 2 healthy puppies within an hour! I can't describe the relief. All the staff we dealt with were lovely and the waiting area was bright and clean. Nothing but thanks and admiration for their skills and hard work

My cat was referred to Woodcroft last week and Alex did everything she could to investigate why he was poorly, she was so kind and nothing seemed too much. Woodcroft really do give the best care, the vets and nurses are all brilliant and the reception staff helped with my insurance claim. Thank you all!

Took our cat to see the vets today. Kate did a thorough check on him, explained everything and was very patient with a nervous cat and cat owners. She even cleaned his carrier after he had a accident in it. The reception staff were great as well, explained the bill and the insurance etc. we would definitely recommend this vets.

My 7 year old Cat Cleo became very unwell and unresponsive. She’s had treatments including blood tests, scans, fluids, anti sickness & appetite stimulant injections. She also had to stay in over night for observation. Woodcroft emergency vets have been absolutely amazing. Such a wonderful & caring team. My cat isn’t the easiest around strangers and hisses/ lashes out oh man handled. I really appreciate how they tried to calm her down and relax her the best they could despite being so busy. They rang me all the time with updates. It killed me having to leave her overnight but I knew she was in the best hands. Thank you so much Woodcroft!

My poor George was attacked and they did everything possible to save him and to keep him comfortable but unfortunately he didn't make it. Thank you to everyone who kept him company and helped him go peacefully. He may be gone but he was the most loveable dog.

The lovely hospital admitted our little dog gizmo on Saturday afternoon as he was very very poorly. Didn’t think he would make it. He had superb care and they worked there stuff on him for 24 hrs . Our much loved member of the family came out after treatment a new dog. Still has meds to take for 5 days but with a lot of TLC he will be himself soon. A huge thank you to ALL the staff including the reception staff that were so kind and friendly. Kindest regards Karen and Chris x

Can’t thank the team at Woodcroft Veterinary Hospital enough for the exceptional care, attention and communication received this week for my 12 month old Labrador puppy who decided to eat some plastic and had to have it surgically removed. A very worrying time, but comforting that the whole experience was handled so professionally by all members of the team.
