I had a smear booked, I turned up 4 times to pre booked appointments to be finally seen on my 5th time. Excuses ranged from system down so couldn’t be seen (two occasions), one incorrect date & time booked to the last one the nurse went home while I sat & waited for 1 hour? 3 month down the line I finally had a smear. Absolutely disgusting. Never even got an apology. Even worse when there was a campaign going on trying to get women to have a smear yet it was made near impossible for me to have one.

Dont want to be harsh for receptionists because at end of the day they dont set the rules. You cant do appointment face to face only via phone which is joke because this is mission immposible + no appointments for next day or week or something so for full time working people that means no access to medical help - unless a&e. Just remind to doctors (sic¡) who run this practice this isn't restaurant or hotel when you run out of tables or rooms you can over and over say try next day. For how long will you try convince us that changes you made during that coronavirus pandemic are for us and our care?? Stop this joke and it is time to start untwist what is upside down!!!

I have only been registered a few months with this practice who's aim it is to "treat you with respect, care and courtesy" and have received absolutely none whatsoever. Registration was a joke in that my weight and blood pressure were not noted which prevented me getting a prescription for urgent medication. I was asked a further FIVE times for this information after submitting it each time and had to almost burst into tears on the phone just to get help. In March of this year, I had a cervical screening appointment and I was waiting almost 10 weeks for results which the practice had before I did and never passed on! Each time I called to chase I was fobbed off and told "this takes a while" or call back tomorrow but I've never had this experience being in the care of my previous GP Practice before I moved to Accrington and had to change. Then as of yesterday, 26.06.22 I was caught off guard with running out of urgent medication and requested an urgent prescription via patient access with a note on to that effect. Called the reception to chase at lunch, today, 27.06.22 and was told it would be ready to collect by a receptionist that afternoon. Called the pharmacy on the way home from work to check and was told they don't have it. So, I called the practice again and got through to a receptionist called Katie. I have never ever dealt with someone so immature and insensitive. I explained it was urgent and was told earlier by someone that I could get it this afternoon as it just needed signing off and she was completely unwilling to help. She said it's always a 48hr wait to get these but I hadn't been told that at Registration and have only ever had 3 prescriptions given by this practice in the past, one of which was ready the same day! I tried to tell I'd not been told this and she just spoke over me. I told her receptionists shouldn't be making false promises and received no empathy or understanding at all and asked "so I have to miss my medication based off your receptions incompetence?" To which she cackled like a hyena at me down the phone! I asked her why she's laughing and she said my remark "tickled her". I was not in the slightest trying to be funny. I have never been laughed at by a receptionist or health care provider for trying to seek said health care and I cannot believe she had the audacity to do so. I admit, lost my temper after this and said she should act like she actually gives an F which I know was stooping to her incredibly low level but it wasn't unprovoked was it! As a GP practice advertising to treat patients with respect, care and courtesy, I would have appreciated to have been afforded some! Found out for myself all the negative reviews about the practice on Google are obviously quite true. I've never been so degraded and offended in my life and feel more people within the area should know about this practice so they know to avoid it like the plauge if they want adequate health care and basic human decency. Not deserving of the 1 star in this review.

I have been phoning the surgery for over a week. Trying to get to speak to a doctor but get fobbed of the receptionist. The triage nurse constantly lies saying she’s called you and no one answered. It would be unfair to say everyone is on a power trip but I would definitely say if your phone gets answered by kishan or you have to deal with Tracy the triage nurse you might as well hang up and save your breath because they don’t listen.

Would give 0* if allowed.. terrible GP practice, no suprise A&E is so busy.. We have to ring to ensure our apportionment times haven't been changed (for our children) as often they differ from what we originally get told. I don't know who handles bookings but it's an absolute shambles! And when we do turn up for vaccines etc, they "have gone out of date".. unless you ring at 8am it's almost impossible to get an appointment. Disgraceful service. Go elsewhere.

Waste of time going to them or ringing them ..surgery is always empty best is ring 111..at least they ring back and advice you and even you can see them face to faceif you need to be seen

Try ringing the hospital see how far you get, straight to answer machine. An answer machine that will tell you on loop that there is no operator. What a JOKE!!

one star is being generous considering they mess up my meds almost every single month and blame me for coming off them when they can't be bothered to prescribe them. tried using the mygp app, the request is rejected. called the practice, 45 minute wait to be told they havent been rejected, went to the pharmacy to confirm that they havent recieved any request. doctor thinks giving me 7 meds a month and telling me to take one a day adds up. then, when im undoubtedly left off my medication, they blame me for coming off them when my mental health deteriorates. "incompetence" is a compliment to this place.

1 is definitely too much. On the phone the doctors asks me what i want him to do? Well the answer is obvious "i want You to diagnose my child and help her". If i knew whats wrong and what's need to be done i would ring, would I? Today i waited 1 hours for the doctor to see my poor feverish 2year old. Besides since when the doctor expects me to pay £40 for a note saying that my child is ill? This is ridiculous.
