Went here with my family whilst on holiday in Wales. Great place, we have something similar where I live, however Pili Palas is great value for money. The habitats & animals are obviously well looked after. Lots of animals to see, great affordable food in the cafe but the best part is the huge amount of children's play areas. Large outdoor adventure play areas and a nice indoor play area, the kids can play for hours. Mostly suitable for disabled access however due to the volume of people I wouldn't recommend it for wheelchairs. Staff seemed nice & friendly too.

Had a fab time here. Seeing all the wonderful smaller creatures!!! Great cake in the cafe ❤️ We got to pet Alice... The blue tongued... Lizard of some description 😂🦎 she was pretty ace though. Was great to see the giant moths too. Always love a visit here. The meerkats are super cute. Worth a trip.

Had a wonderful time on a visit there today. The butterflies were beautiful and in such a lovely setting....All the petting animals had decent size enclosures that were clean , with fresh bedding , food and water...lovely to see. A well thought out playground for the children to play in and a cafe for having something to eat and drink....I spent a good 2hrs there , but could easily stay for longer . Worth a visit for sure 👍

Brilliant place to visit with kids with great outdoor play area as well as smaller indoor softplay. Plenty of animals to see (and pet) but highlight is butterfly enclosure by far. Only negative is one baby change toilet that we could find. It was just over £30 for two adults and a 2 year old. The food was so so and average price, suggest you take your own which we saw plenty of people doing.

Fantastic day out. Full of fun. Animals, Butterflies and birds are well looked after. The butterfly house was the best we loved as a family. It has a soft play area indoors and 2 play areas outside for the kids to play in. There was also a good range of creatures to view such as reptiles, insects, etc. Fairly crowded places as there isn't much space when it's busy. Easy to get to and plenty of parking. I highly recommend this place.

Definitely great value for money but just a bit on the small side. You couldn’t spend a whole day here. However the animal encounters were great and the butterflies were spectacular. There’s a big play park and the food at the cafe was delicious.

Toddler had a wonderful time, lots to do. Perfect place for wet weather, soft play a bonus. Didn't really like the halloween stuff as it was pretty scary for a 2 year old...!

Wonderful. If you don't mind butterflies fluttering around your head you will love this place. Some beautiful colourful butterflies. Also a mini zoo with insects and snakes and reptiles. Outside, there are pigs, rabbits, guinea pigs, goats and donkeys plus more. Plenty of play areas for the kids . Onsite parking and disabled spaces right by the entrance. A good day out .

Such a cute nature reserve! The butterfly sanctuary is beautiful. Very good space for kids! There is also a playground after the farm! Car park has an overflow and it's free !

Doesn't look much when you first pull up but is pretty packed with things to see and do. Butterfly house, birds, reptiles, farm animals, outside adventure play park and large indoor soft play area. Food in the cafe is straight forward and reasonably priced. All in all a good day out and plenty to keep both adults and kids interested and entertained.

This is probably great with small children but our 11 year old was pretty bored. It’s quite small and the ‘shows’ are just one animal being put down on a counter for kids to pet, no explanations about the animal, no energy at all from the staff. It’s a small place, but ok priced for what it is. We really enjoyed the butterfly house.

Visited here on a bit of a dreary day. First appearances there was a decent looking outdoor play area which, with nicer weather, would be alright for the kids as a little filler for the visit. Staff were pleasent enough at reception/gift shop. We quite enjoyed the area with the butterflies. There were some really impressive looking butterflies there. Pili Palas has a few different creatures to look at including some reptiles and bugs and even Meerkats which you can view from the café. Talking if café, it wasn't the cleanest but the tea and coffee was alright. Toilet facilities weren't bad. Would visit again on a much nicer day.

Bethan makes the best cakes! Especially the date slice 🤤. Best enjoyed alone...wait till the kids are playing in the indoor centre 🤣 Jen was very friendly at the meet the animal session and full of information about the animals on show..

Lots to do for kids, great play areas. Butterfly house was fun! Liked the new tropical house, they had lots of interesting animals here that I've never seen before. The cafe area was a bit tired and overpriced though.

Good amount/variety in play parks for children of varying ages. Also an indoor soft play as well as soft block play too. Disappointing choices on the menu, it's more of the typical 'burger and chips' kind (although I did see Chilli and Rice on there). Very small butterfly area, but has lizard zone and exotic birds. Didn't get chance to go to the meerkat and reptile house. I'd go again, but only if I was passing that way (we live 60 mins away so a bit far for what it is) and definitely recommend a packed lunch.

My 8 years old son absolutely loved visiting Pili Palas. He spent hours on outdoor wooden attractions. He enjoyed zip line and monkey bars very much. There is large free parking for customers. We had quiche with salad and kids lunch box at the cafe. While we were waiting for our food, it was nice that my son could go in the soft play which is joined to the café. There were lots of animals to see, and we particularly enjoyed the butterfly house. A very friendly staff encouraged my son to pet a small python, which certainly was a highlight of our visit. I would recommend this place for families with children.

Overall it was a good day out. My kids spent a good few hours on the park, which was probably the main bit for them. I recommend visiting if your going to Anglesey or live in the area, but in my opinion possibly a little small and suited for younger kids.

Nice place to visit , great play area for the kids, my only negative is not enough animals to see, loved the butterfly's and donkey's.

Lovely little zoo for everyone, not just kids. Saw some very odd creatures there and my sister got the opportunity to hold a centipede. Worth a visit!

Great place to take the kids. Lots to see inside, the butterfly enclosure is amazing and the variety of animals is quite impressive. Hugh play area outside for the kids and a soft play area inside for the younger kids.

Nice enough but dear for what it is n what’s there. Butterfly room very small thought it’d be a lot bigger . Soft play area was cool but so busy my son struggled with the amount of kids in there. Outdoor play area was pretty good though

Another great experience here on Anglesey. The place is well kept and it wasn't overly busy even though the car park was full. The kids absolutely loved the impressive adventure park at the end of the animal attraction. Great way to spend 2-3 hours.

Love this place . The children love this place . So much to see and do. Good parking. Disabled toilets and access . Cafe good value. Picnic area ,you can take your own food in . The staff are so helpful and very knowledgeable. You can pet the animals at certain times and watch them being fed.

An impressive array of animals, ranging from butterflies to meerkats with a great playground at the end. The kookaburras are very cute and very much a highlight as they're not caged, so you can get fairly close to them. There are some really unusual insects and amphibians too, the poison dart frogs being a good example. All the creatures seem very well looked after but some of the enclosures seemed very small given the size of the animals. The terrapins are in a pool not much bigger than my bath and there's a huge yellow python in a tank I doubt it can even fully stretch in. This impacted our enjoyment somewhat. Maybe they all get some time in a larger enclosure but we didn't see any information that said so. When we visited there was no cafe open but perhaps it is during school holidays. If you go, take some refreshments just in case.

I love Pili Palas! Easy to get to and plenty of parking. I've been going here since I was a child and have such fond memories. The butterfly house is such a wonderful place to visit, beautiful plants and insects to see. Love seeing all the other animals as well. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be visiting again.

Fantastic day out especially on a rainy day for the family. Very full. All animal and birds looked after well. Accessibility was great as I am disabled and on a stick. A fairly cheap cafe available for food and picnic station outside in the play area. It also has a butterfly house which we loved as a family. It has a soft play area indoors and 2 brilliant play areas outside for the kids to play in. There was also a good range of creatures to view. It's just a bit scary if you have young kids who tend to run off or kids with Autism and problems with crowded places as there isn't much space when it's busy.

Lovely place, we have been coming here for years! The additions the the outdoor play area are great, particularly the ziplines. The animals are well kept, there are birds, small mammals, farm animals, insects and reptiles as well as the butterflies 🦋. The cafe and gift shop were reasonably priced. Well worth a visit. I would recommend prebooking as it is popular.
