Went for the opening night. Inside looks lovely, fresh and well decorated. Staff were all friendly and attentive. The food tasted amazing and was plentiful, one of the best currys we have had! Food tasted very fresh and everything was reasonably priced. There are some options on the menu for vegans and for lighter/healthier options as well as a childrens menu. Definitely recommend and we can't wait to visit again!

Once again the good recommendations turned out to be true. We found this place while being in Rossendale and were not disappointed. At first it seemed a bit strange as we were the only guests in the restaurant. But the staff was very friendly and food was served within minutes. The food was really tasty and had an original Indian taste. Would come back again.

The most delicious, fresh, amazing food - felt so very light n authentic to eat and can tell the attention in cooking n serving was very particular and to an extremely high standard. My only regret is not visiting sooner!! The best Indian restaurant I’ve visited xx Sunday special menu is also amazing value for money too!! Every person who worked there was so very friendly and lovely. We will be back xx

Saw the restaurant being reviewed in the Manc evening news and it sounded delicious so I booked a table for a celebration meal. Every single member of staff was so friendly and couldn't do enough for you and can chat your ear off! They were genuinely interested in what you thought about the food, as well as being very knowledgeable about the food, background and history. We had the banquet special option which to be honest coming away, I feel like we ripped the place off it was such good value for money! The restaurant itself felt very sleek and stylish and the placement of the tables stopped you feeling crammed in. Definitely going to be a frequent flyer!

Absolutely amazing food, as someone with a nut allergy I'm always very cautious regarding Indian food. But they were brilliant catering to my allergies and very reassuring. Food was SOOO delicious! staff very polite. Definitely visiting again.

Great place! The food was fantastic, hot and fresh… but the prawn dish we had was definitely the best in Rawtenstall! If you’re fancying prawns Kashmir is the place to go! King prawn lansan but there were lots of options on the menu for prawns too! The staff were friendly and attentive and the drinks were reasonably priced.

I've been here twice and both times the experience was outstanding. Wonderful service, no problems ordering off menu even from the set banquet. All the food is very obviously freshly prepared and each dish has a distinctive colour and flavour. As a vegetarian I really appreciate the al dente veg as I've been to too many places where the vegetables are either frozen or overcooked. The fruit and nut rice is also very special. Very fresh ingredients. Great staff. Nice ambience and decor. The best curry place in the valley.

We had the 3 starters and 3 mains for £15. The sizes were more than enough. Every dish was tasty and not too spicy or hot. The service and staff friendly and professional. Totally recommand +

Clean and tidy establishment, service was efficient. Decent pint of Cobra(6 in total) although it was served slightly on the warm side. Poppadoms were good, pickle tray was standard. The mutton chop starter wasn't value for money (2 chops) but tasty, chicken chaat was decent, fish was good. A keema, pashwari and garlic and coriander naan were all good, as were the chapatis. Chicken tika madras, chili chicken and a chicken handi, all three dishes were good yet all tasted very similar and very rich in tomato, portion sizes small. The two portions of rice were good. All dishes lacked in quantity. Total cost £110 (which included an £11 tip.

We visited as a table of 10 yesterday for our daughters birthday, it was amazing! We had every age from 2 -75 years old and everyone had a great time, especially the birthday girl as she LOVES curry!! We had a good mix of food and everyone commented on how nice it was. Considering it was quite busy, everything came out to the table in great time. They even did a big happy birthday with a special sparkler for our 9 year old, she was thrilled! We will be back, thanks again!

We had a fundraiser evening here and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. They were so easy to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. The food was great too. Highly recommend.

I ordered from Kashmir for the second time this evening. I ordered as they advertise as being vegan friendly, they have 2 main dishes labelled as vegan but the rest of the menu is not labelled. I called them to clarify what items I could order and was advised certain dishes had ghee so would not be suitable and that some of the dishes could be made vegan and discussed which. I then, as discussed, ordered on just eat and added a note for everything to be vegan as advised on the phone. When my food arrived one of the dishes was not vegan and contained dairy, they told me on the phone it could be made vegan. Another of the items I ordered they said they would just not use ghee, I felt a bit uneasy as to if I could trust if this had been done correctly but they then told me on the phone (I called when noticed incorrect items) that the ghee is vegetable ghee and does not contain dairy so there was some discrepancies there from my first phone call. The paneerish dish was nice, the rice and bread were nice but the vegan meatballs were extremely hard and chewy. For the price I feel quite disappointed with the meatball dish and overall portion sizes of all dishes but the main reason for the 3 stars is the issues surrounding ordering vegan food. I would not order from here again unless they labelled all dishes properly to remove the chance of human error and would only consider ordering the paneerish dish. As someone who is lactose intolerant errors like this can leave me feeling very unwell for days if milk is an ingredient in a meal (cross contamination is generally not an issue it’s only when it’s an added ingredient for me) When I called they were polite and went through the dishes with me, but I think it’s really important if you advertise as vegan suitable that you are ensuring they are and checking orders before they are sent. I felt like I needed to leave a review as I think it’s important these issues are addressed for allergy/intolerance sufferers and for people who are vegan. I would consider ordering in the future if these issues are addressed as it’s good to see restaurants making an effort and most of the food was nice.
