Food was nice, there was a very wide selection from lots of different countries. The food was warm and tasty and the bottomless soft drinks were a bonus. Wouldn't recommend going a weekend personally, it was packed and very difficult to get food sometimes. Some dishes would also run out quickly. Definitely better to go on a weeknight if you prefer a less hectic eatery.

We really enjoyed it. Over 200 dishes to choose from. Lots of cooking stations and great range of seafood. Very good service. Food was good quality and hot and fresh. Tables cleared quickly. Chocolate fountain to finish.

I'm sorry to be so negative, but excluding dumplings and few more things, was all poor quality food. I love the idea of global Buffet, and I visited some in UK, but this has been the worst. The desserts were terrible, but this isn't uncommon in a global Buffet restaurants, so, not a surprise. But poor choice and low quality is not a good combination. On the upside, the waiters were nice, and in many mediocre dishes, something was good (the tempura prawns for example) I appreciate the effort and the fact that a place like this exist, and also the fact that is way cheaper than other restaurants of this kind, but it's all pointless if most of the things aren't good. With this kind of restaurant the could improve a lot if they really try.

To be fair, I wasn't expecting a lot as my experience of this kind of buffet is that the food quality and taste suffers for the amount of different food available. However, I was pleasantly surprised! The food I had which was mostly Chinese was tasty and hot and I did go back for seconds. Good choice of puddings too with some lovely Ice cream . It's a little pricey but when you take into account you actually can have three courses it really isn't bad at all.

I put ⭐⭐⭐⭐ due to they put us in a very corner and at the back it's really a bit long way to bring your food so I get two plates 😀😀 . Also the queue of the grill station its quite long, you need more patience if you want your beef steak or grill squid or stir fry. It's delicious tho. The staff are quick cleaning the table and very organized and friendly. It was Saturday and it's so busy. Load of choice's... The crispy seaweed that time is very salty and I told the staff.... I don't know if she told the kitchen.

I'm reviewing this as a vegetarian. What food there was that I could eat was very nice, but it was basically vegetables, not one tofu dish, no beans or pulses and very limited salad. If you eat meat and fish it looks great, but really limited if you want to avoid meat and fish.

Out of all the "all you can eat" buffets I have gone to, this one I would say was the best. The choice of food here was immeasurable, and the quality of food here was also very nice. I believe that this buffet was more than adequate for a group of any size. I personally went with a group of 7 and the service was especially good. Queues to get into the place were not ideal for us and especially in the harsh windy conditions of the East of England (12mph North East) were not as expected. However, this may vary on a day to day basis depending on the way the wind blows. In all seriousness, the atmospheric conditions were generally okay, and the food here was great - make sure (as my aunt says) to use 3 plates at a time since efficiency is key for an all you can eat buffet especially under a 1 hour 45 time limit! For real, the place was great and staff were friendly - definitely worth the money!!

If I could put 0 stars I would! almost nothing tasted good. Only average tasting thing was the ice cream and some of the pastries, everything else was really lame, with no flavor at all! The noodles were awful, the sweet and sour chicken was everything else but chicken, and the list goes on and on. I definitely don't recommend this place, it's expensive, the lady at the front desk is really rude (including wanting to charge us £5 per person for to make a reservation) and the food is not good at all. Please, if you enjoy going to a buffet, don't loose your time and money going to this place.

We went there on Wednesday, after 7 pm. Place was very busy, which affected the quality and availability of food. Bar wasn't well equipped, some food overcooked and very dry, but tofu was super tasty. Deep fried fish was mainly oil and batter, noodles dry. Some of the vegetables were probably very DOA, and as much as I am into not wasting food, I'd rather to it at home, it just didn't feel right. To be honest staff was super friendly and helpful, really nice and quick people. I like the idea of notices that state that you take it, you eat it- although put in much nicer way. Not everyone adhered to that, but many did I think. I don't think we'll be going there again, but you never know, it may get better and nicer.

Loved Nines! Food was lovely, great selection some favourites such as nuggets, chips and egg fried rice! Lots of dishes to choose from like English, Chinese, Sushi, Indian, Grilled, Seafood, pizza, Yorkshire puddings and my favourite puddings!!! The puddings are the perfect "shove in your mouth" size. Definitely worth the money, I will be back!!

Much better than I'd expected! So many of these multi cuisine buffets manage to make everything taste the same, but not here. It was good quality and the staff were very accommodating for our end of project dinner, there were 36 of us.

There was a range of food options to choose from, different types of intercontinental dishes that are quite tasty too. I ate to my fill within the space of 1hr 45mins that the buffet lasted for. The atmosphere is conducive for a couple, family or a team hangout. I'd recommend it!

I was there first with my colleagues and then I came back with my family and I had good time in both occasions. I think it's a perfect place to have a relaxed meal with a bunch of friends or with your familly. Our young kids enjoyeb it a lot as well. There is a huge variety of food and everyone will find something to their taste. There is a large choice of desert too. I highly recommend.

Love this place, the food and the service. You get your money's worth for the great selection of quality food, everyone will find something they will like. The Mojitos are to die for 10/10. Booked a table for my birthday and my meal was for free!

Food was fresh and delicious, great variety which is what you want at a buffet. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. 1 star knocked off because they charge the same price for a 90cm child (roughly 2.5 years old) as a 140cm child (roughly 10+ years old).

A bit of a disappointing lunch here with half of the food not being served at lunch time. A few dishes were really lovely and they do have some good food but puddings all tasted funny and today most of it was just fried finger food. Over all it wouldn’t have been that bad if the staff were polite. The lady that served our drinks and took our plates away just ignored us and didn’t even smile. This is what makes me not want to return again.

Majoirty Food lovely but some dishes too greasy. Dinner cost £22.99 Drinks were expensive. Refills were £3.80. Get your ticket validated for 2 hours free car parking at the leisure Centre Car park. Would go again but for lunch menu only.

They call it a global buffet, it lacks some of the western dishes. Mostly Asian dishes. But the food tastes good. The rice we're kept open so it's dried quickly. Great atmosphere with plenty of tables. Worth the money you pay. Sushi is not that great! But desserts are nice and sweet.

We went for a midweek lunch. The website says that not all live cooking stations will be open - none of them were. Nor was there any sushi or dim sum. The salad bar was minute and didn't include the seafood I'd been looking forward to. What food there was, in fairness, was very good. Lots of Chinese and Thai, all the meat dishes tender and full of flavour, plenty of interesting vegetables. Service was perfect - dirty plates vanished instantly, drinks arrived promptly. For the reduced price, I still feel I had excellent value for money. But next time (yes, there will be a next time) I'll pay more and go for the full menu.

Good service, good atmosphere, nice n clean Lots of Asian foods available which me and and my Asian friend liked But they said the chicken was bland so I gave it a four star Had loads of ice cream and it was pretty good Would go again 💯

Nice place with brilliant staff, majority of food was lovely with a few that weren't, pizza was nice but the base was way to crispy. Indian stand the rice had dried out and the Chicken tikka was a little dry. Chinese section was amazing though especially beef flank and sweet and sour chicken. Would visit again.

I’ve been to Nines before and wasn’t disappointed. I’m going to be clinical about Nines in Cambridge to ensure I’ve not missed anything. The good - Lots of variety. Well cooked and full of flavour. Staff were very polite and welcoming. Well stocked. The bad - Felt the food was a bit miss matched and all over the place. Jelly was hard. The UGLY - The toilets have ultimately lost you two stars. 3 toilets 1 missing a toilet seat and the one I walked into looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in days. I had to stop eating because the fecal matter covering the toilet and seat was just too much to bare. It looked like someone had exploded in there and no member of staff dared to venture to see or clean the aftermath. God forbid an unwitting child went in there only to find themselves surrounded by the pooey pit of hell of which are the toilets in Nines. I did notify management who didn’t massively seem to care and declared someone must have just done it. I didn’t mentioned I nearly lost my trainers because the floors were as sticky as a 90s nightclub, luckily I made it out safely. And for all of this I have had to rate just three stars. **Warning** ensure you go to the toilet prior to eating here and you’ll likely have a great experience.

Disappointing Experience with Rude Staff I recently visited this restaurant and unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience. The rudeness displayed by the staff members left a lasting negative impression. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a complete lack of hospitality. The staff seemed disinterested and unresponsive, making me feel unwelcome. Their demeanor was far from friendly, and it was evident that they lacked proper training in customer service. Furthermore, the rude behavior continued throughout my entire visit. When I asked a simple question about the menu, I was met with condescension and impatience. It was disheartening to be treated with such disrespect as a paying customer. In addition to the staff's behavior, the overall cleanliness of the restaurant was subpar. Tables were left uncleared, and the floor appeared dirty and neglected. It was clear that proper attention to cleanliness and hygiene was lacking. I believe that a restaurant should not only deliver quality food but also prioritize exceptional customer service. Unfortunately, my experience at nine’s fell short on both fronts. I left feeling disappointed and discouraged. I hope that the management of nine’s takes this feedback into consideration and works towards improving the behavior of their staff and the overall cleanliness of the establishment. As a customer, I believe it is important to be treated with respect and to dine in a clean and welcoming environment. I sincerely hope that my review helps others make informed decisions and encourages the restaurant to make the necessary improvements. Remember, it's important to remain factual and respectful in your review. Feel free to make any changes or additions to the review based on your specific experience.
