The Stanley

Bar Pub

😠 Overall cleanliness wasn’t nice. The toilets disgusting and the staff need to be more well presented. Deodorant cost 1 and so does toothpaste. Think the owner needs to clamp down on this! These people are the face of the pub. People often mention staff, good, Great,

Poor service by the landlady .ignores you and serves her regular s . When she's on don't bother going in because you will wait a while not good at all . But apart from her the staff are great . The landlady of this pub should pull her finger out

By calling it 'The Stanley' and marketing itself as a sports bar it is obviously trying to appeal to travelling fans with its proximity to the train station. However, Stanley play in red. The paintwork outside is blue. as a Stanley fan of over thirty years I find this perplexing and an insult to our town's football team.

Liked it in here. Very much improved. Lovely landlady. Spent a lot of money making this place nice and trying to change its image. I hope it is a success.

This the second time I've seen the ladies toilets like this it's disgusting papper all over the floor. Other than that its good place to meet up with friends and family the owner just needs to put her foot down when it comes to other people causing trouble

Not a lover of this place tbh! But I guess ya can't please everyone! 🤷🏻🙄😜 Don't get me wrong, the majority of the staff I've come across are polite/down to earth/friendly folk & the prices are fairly cheap/average but it just gives off the vibes of "older generation" type of boozer, to myself?! 🤔 🤣 🤣 Gets extremely busy no matter what time I've been in tbf but yeah, majority seem to be old drunks/few stray young chavs! 🤦🏻😂 😂... Quite a small place so it can become over crowded but last I knew, they do show sports on screen & sometimes put on events/karaoke upon weekends... But yeah, it's just pretty average tbf?! 🤷🏻😜

Very welcoming pub with pool, live football and spacious. Children are also welcome. A variety of lagers and John Smith's butter plus a large selection of bottled beers. 5 minute walk from the train station and about 25 minutes to Accrington Stanley football ground, up a very long hill.

👍👍 This was an easy five star's for me to give. Firstly parking was ample, with easy access into the premises. A warm friendly greeting, and seated promptly. The seating was allocated with a good distance between dinners. When enquiring whether they had Gluten Free options on the menu? The response w...
