Absolutely love the place, great people great landlord and the drinks are very reasonable. All the locals have made us feel really welcome thank you.

A friendly traditional pub and right next to the railway station. I don't think there was a single customer who didn't have a little chat (to the outsiders (us)). We had been on a long bike ride. 5 stars because it's what a pub should be. Friendly, welcoming and a decent choice of drinks. No spectacular decor, just a proper pub.

Was there for local pool league game, very friendly team, nice locals, lovely cask ale selection, a good old English pub. We had a nice evening even though we got beat.

This is now our local .Lovely pub , nice and friendly bar staff .The prices are excellent for beer .Pool is only 50 p per game .Would go more if time allowed.

Top venue. Dropped 20 quid at the bar without realizing. 20 minutes later barmaid come outside and handed me the 20 pounds i dropped. Not many places like that these days.

A great pub with real ale and real people.

Had 40 minutes to kill waiting for my train and there isn't much to do in Huncoat so thought I'd pop into the pub for a coffee. Really pleasant girl behind the bar was chatting and made me a coffee, seems like a decent pub.

Lovely old fashioned pub. The warmest welcome is extended to old and new alike.. The landlord is such a lovely man, so are his staff..highly recommend this pub.

Excellent community pub next to station. J.W.Lees stout was superb. Friends also enjoyed the other two offerings.
