Went to see a lovely artiste who didn't disappoint I'd heard from another fb reviewer who recommended her...poppy Holiday...good music and good pedigree from.marstons

Sky Tigers Band loved playing at the Black Dog last night, made to feel very welcome and great atmosphere.

Great atmosphere, well run. The landlord is very polite and friendly.

Advertised band playing, but never turned up.

Been in a few times when before pandemic lovely, friendly staff, music on. Wanted to check out the gigs perhaps when things are back to normalish I'll get a chance. Beer Garden in the back with umbrellas, clean area and staff are available for drinks order or you order from the app and drinks arrive very fast! Been twice to beer garden, not been the greatest of weather but the drinks make it worthwhile.. diverse background staff team which is very good for me to see as I am new to the area. To the staff once customers are seen to and served, it would be good if you guys had a seat in between customers and walk ins. I feel for you guys having to wander around especially during slow times. Wish you guys did hot/cold pies could do it on first come first serve basis would be fab!

Iv only recently found this place and the food always tastes amazing well presented and well priced the drinks arent to my liking but serves to the majority and knows its clientele. Always clean and really homely feel to the place. The staff are friendly polite and happy, alot of local farmers and villiage people in so can get a little loud but thats what i like. Always have a good time when im there

My friends and I call in for a pint couple times a week after work. It's a warm welcome with smiles. No fools tolerated by the staff. Great beer, friendly. Highly recommend. Definitely be in here Xmas. Emma Colin Nanna. Great job.

Great pub

Great little local pub in ozwaldtwistle the land lord is Jason Manfords younger Brother which is nice.

Watched the England V Germany game and had a few beers. Disappointed as they had no cask beer on so had to drink lager and stout. Nor very busy and emptied out completely after game leaving us as the only customers.

Always friendly staff.love this pub
