Unfortunately,
I
am
writing
to
express
my
dissatisfaction
with
service
provided
to
me
on
19/10/2023
at
17:15pm
when
I
was
returning
a
faulty
item
I
had
purchased.
I
had
purchased
a
hoover
from
my
local
Accrington
Asda
store
which
had
ceased
to
work
so
as
the
hoover
was
under
12
months
old
it
was
still
under
the
12
month
exchange
or
refund
Asda
policy
for
electrical
items.
When
I
took
the
hoover
to
the
customer
service
desk
a
lady
named
Cheryl
served
me
she
asked
me
if
I
still
had
the
box
which
I
didn’t
to
which
she
rang
through
to
a
manager
I
presume
to
see
if
they
could
accept
it
back
without
the
box.
When
she
had
finished
she
said
the
hoover
had
to
be
clean
anyway
she
said
that
the
hoover
wasn’t
clean
and
the
filter
had
to
be
cleaned
and
to
try
it
again
if
it
still
wasn’t
working
to
take
it
back.
So
I
went
home
to
clean
it
out
and
it
still
wasn’t
working
so
took
the
hoover
back
to
Asda
to
explain
that
it
still
wasn’t
working.
When
I
went
to
the
customer
service
desk
to
speak
to
Cheryl
again
stating
it
still
wasn’t
working
she
again
looked
at
the
hoover
she
then
said
that
the
hoover
still
wasn’t
clean
as
another
part
of
the
hoover
was
still
dirty
so
I
actually
stood
there
at
the
customer
service
desk
cleaning
the
hoover.
Cheryl
then
went
to
ring
through
to
the
manager
at
this
point
the
hoover
had
fallen
off
the
desk
where
Cheryl
had
put
it
and
the
wheel
came
off!
Cheryl
then
came
off
the
phone
saying
that
the
manager
would
exchange
this
once!
Now
this
whole
experience
with
Cheryl
and
Asda
has
been
disgusting
and
disappointing
as
I’m
sure
you
are
aware
my
consumer
rights
are
that
if
an
item
(especially
electrical)
is
faulty
I
have
the
right
to
an
exchange
or
refund
with
it
still
being
under
the
Asda
return
policy
under
12
months
old.
I
am
disgusted
that
I
was
made
to
clean
the
hoover
part
in
the
store
and
the
fact
it
was
visible
that
I
have
a
broken
thumb
joint
and
Cheryl
is
still
making
me
do
this
I
found
it
difficult
to
clean
the
rest
of
the
hoover
as
it
was.
I
also
find
it
disgusting
that
not
one
manager
came
to
deal
with
the
situation
but
let
someone
who
was
clearly
unhelpful
and
rude
when
dealing
with
this
situation.
I
find
it
disappointing
that
Asda
expect
people
to
keep
the
boxes
for
items
over
3/6
months
old
as
really
you
wouldn’t
expect
something
to
go
wrong
with
it
after
that
time
and
I
really
do
find
it
disgusting
that
Asda
expect
to
clean
the
items
they
are
returning
as
it
shouldn’t
make
any
difference
if
it’s
clean
or
not
if
it’s
not
working
it’s
a
hoover
that
someone
has
been
using
so
it
wouldn’t
be
clean.
I
don’t
any
other
store
that
expects
people
to
clean
faulty
goods
that
are
being
returned.
But
I
did
clean
it
as
asked
and
still
Cheryl
had
an
issue.
This
really
isn’t
the
kind
of
service
I
expect
from
my
local
Asda
I
have
never
felt
so
disappointed
with
the
service
I
have
received
as
well
as
now
being
in
extra
discomfort
with
my
thumb.
