    This is how my burger turned up today. Looks like someone’s had a bite out of it so had to bin it. Looks disgusting. When the order is wrong they don’t offer to deliver the correct items. Just a refund and then you’d need to reorder and pay extra delivery! Not been here for a long time and this hasn’t done anything to get me back in a McDonalds!

    £28 order for 4 of us and completely horrible. Don’t use this McDonald’s food is vile, chips soggy and burgers cheap and tacky. Told by staff to bring my burger back to prove 😂😂 well here it is

    I’d give a zero if I could! So in my slightly hungover state we decided on McDonald’s for lunch. Rawtenstall McDonald’s is quite possibly the worst one I have ever visited! Never an adult or senior there, kids are running the show and couldn’t run a p**s up in a brewery quite frankly! Just one of my gripes is that I asked for extra pickles on my burger, got told no?!?! Erm excuse me?? and this is what I got………less than what I usually get??? Not one working brain cell in that place!

    Got a sausage and egg mcmuffin the other morning, opened it up to find it was burnt to a crisp and rock hard, had to throw it away! The member of staff who wrapped it up should of binned it and got a fresh one rather than serving it to me.

    I should have given a review a long time ago but today was the final straw. This must be the 5th time AT LEAST that this branch has got an order wrong. The incompetent staff honestly haven’t got a clue and the customer service is a disgrace! I had to back yet again and this time I asked at the first window for a free item the same as the item that was missing off the order. The girl at the window said this wasn’t an issue and then at the next window they refused to give the free item. Absolute joke of a place and to be fair to McDonald’s whatever people’s opinions are of the food this has absolutely nothing to do with the taste or quality of the food it’s the horrendous service you receive time after time at this branch. If you really want a McDonald’s drive 2 miles and go to the Rising Bridge branch as the service there is 1st class every time

    Does not accept student or military IDs which is the only branch I've seen with this policy. Medium fries arrived half empty which is disappointing, the food was hot though which good.

    Petty customer service, only allows one pot of measly sauce with your meal. Restaurant policy to be tight. Poor customer service. Very disappointed of “new policy” often visited this place, but now I better will go to KFC, where you can have unlimited sauces!

    I order my food through just eat, and when it arrived three items including my veggie burger were missing. We called the restaurant manager Chloe who answered the phone, she was absolutely disrespectful on the phone, doesn’t have any manners how to speak to customers I was told that I could get my food replaced and because I ordered through just eat I had to complain through them to get a refund. I could only get a refund for the food that was missing. But by the time I’d tried to sort the issue the rest of my food was cold. This is ridiculous as it’s not just eats fault that the food was missing. They don’t make the food. McDonald’s does. So I’m not sat here with stone cold food and the rest of it is missing.

    Despite some of the more negative reviews, I have had nothing but great service from Rawtenstall McDonald's and my order is always correct, sure sometimes the wait is lengthy but that cannot be helped when it's busy. Respect to those working hard behind the scenes to deliver us fast food, it is a luxury many people ( it seems ) take for granted. Hope the staff get treated with the respect they deserve from customers 🙏 👀

    I can give or take McDonald's. This is one of the better ones, with mainly fresh food, rather than limp fries, short measured hot drinks and thrown together burgers. They have recently used a cheap replacement ice cream ( yellowy colour and quite obvious granules) the same as the one they quite often use at the bury drive through. YOU PAYS YOUR MONEY...

    As a driver,they make it out that the orders are ready and when you get there as per usual it’s not,they tick it off as “ready to collect” so they don’t have to pay just eat the delayed payment which leads to drivers not getting paid for their time they are waiting too… (15-30 minutes is standard time waiting over there) When I asked for a manager regarding this,a lady approached with an attitude and her reply was “I’m not the manager I’m the owner (Chloe) and we have the best time for deliveries in the northwest,and I said I believe that as you tick them off saying they are ready to collect but I’ve been waiting here for 20minutes and it’s still not ready even though you’ve got on the board it’s ready and informed just eat of this too,she turned around and said whatever,if it bothers you that much go somewhere else then it’s not like we’re short of drivers.

    I placed an order on the McDonald’s app, but upon arriving at the restaurant, I found it closed. When I called, they explained they were updating the system and would reopen in 30 minutes. My reason for leaving this review is that such closures seem to happen frequently at night with various excuses. The drive-through is blocked, lights are off, giving the impression they might not want customers at night, perhaps even sleeping in the back. Additionally, they often claim to be out of food and display a consistently poor attitude. There's a concern about the hygiene practices of the staff, as it appears they might neglect washing their backside. This aspect contributes to an overall dissatisfaction with the cleanliness standards at the establishment. I observed staff members at night who seem to defy the expectation that women don't have chin hair. Encountering individuals with such facial hair, reminiscent of the Grinch, adds to the peculiar and off-putting experiences during my visits.

    If I could give 0 stars I would. My order is 8/10 times wrong, items missing, no sauce, cold fries, staff are either illiterate or have 1 braincell between them. I don't know how hard it is to read an order and double check the items inside the bag before giving it to a customer/delivery driver. Spend over £20 on food and because I didn't want a drink and made it into a meal then I am not allowed any sauces because their new policy states that it's a one stingy sized sauce pot per meal. What a joke. Ran by a bunch of 🤡's and yes men/women. Management need to give their heads a wobble and sort out the one sauce policy and train the staff.

    Absolutely atrocious service. I waited 10 minutes for my order to arrive. It started on their system saying preparing then when quite a few delivery people came in from Just Eat etc my order disappeared from the order line. However, all the delivery peopl's food came out! I was only getting a burger, fries & drink for my son. I asked to speak with a supervisor & said that this was meant to be fast food! I told them that I wanted his meal & a refund. I was told "Ok". Then someonr came out with the meal. I said, "What about the refund". Then a manager came out & said "It's either the meal or the refund". I told him that wasn't good enough. He told me he only had 5 people working. The place is a disgrace & I wasn't "Lovin' it"!

    Ordered 2 fish fillet meals and cheese bites share box. I've had these local to me all around but this branch far exceeded my expectations. The fish was cooked fresh and tasted much better than the other branches I've been to. The same goes for the chips and as for the cheesy bites it tastes fresh too and could tell that it was cooked fresh. Keep it up and will drive by again if going towards Rawtenstall.

    Appalling customer service experience from manager. Went through Drive-Thru, smallish order, parked up. opened up food, noticed large banana milkshake ordered was actually a medium vanilla. It was also very watery and not cold. Nipped in to counter with it for an exchange, only to be questioned for receipt with a glare by the staff member. Received the new one, with no hint of apology or acknowledgement of error. Walked back to car only to find same error again, returned to restaurant again to find who i assume is the manager (may be wrong) stood at the door like a bouncer. Having informed her of the issue, proceeded to again demand the receipt and lecture me about my 'opportunities' to check my order in the drive-thru, forgetting the second exchange was at the counter. The two times to get my order correct in the first place lost on her. Then advising it it maybe the banana syrup machines fault and she would check it, all the while having me standing outside on the restaurant doorstep. Again no hint of acknowledge of error, just another bolshy, combative customer's fault. I left her stood at the door, having given up. wow, never seen or experienced this before in a macs...a wide berth for this place in future. Zero *

    Popped in for food after a 4.5 hour long drive. The place was extremely busy, which I assume is normal for the location (Im not from the area). Food was as expected and heated well. Clean and tidy, staff were friendly. I couldn't really find fault.

    I really would give it lower if I could, they are constantly getting my order wrong, how hard isit to make a plane cheese burger with extra cheese? They just throw the food together with no care, the fries are always just warm, you PAY for extra cheese and ever single time because they just throw it together the majority of the cheese you've just payed for end up on the wrapper so your basically throwing money away, this has to possibly be the worst mcdonalds about, every single time I go they get something wrong. I advice anyone to go to any other mcdonalds other than this one! Plus I have also been turned away from the shop due to them having no food to serv me, this is at half 5 in the morning on a Sunday, 3 times they have done this with me, I do have to drive there as I am just out of reach for the delivery so I'm also wasting money on fuel, this really has to be the worst mcdonalds ever!.

    Food and wait time was fine. But the place was full of kids riding scooters, swearing and just generally being disrespectful. The young staff members are far too scared to deal with them (which is understandable). Either management need to boot them out or you need to invest in security.

    A nice McDonald's with a very unique and modern feel. The food was standard for McDonald's and the staff were nice enough. 4 stars as there was a limit on sauces, 1 per meal, which I've never encountered in the UK and is annoying. Overall I would reccomend for a fairly unique McDonald's experience.

    Customer service was on point, was greeted at the drive through by a lad named Elliott who welcomed us and told us his name, for the food we ordered 2 Big Mac Meals, Cheesy Sharebox and some chicken selects. All I can say is that the food came to us quickly and was hot to eat

    Ordered through Just Eat. Some items missing, contacted McDonald's who admitted fault at their end. The female who I spoke with was very rude, no manners and told me to request a refund through uber eats, gave me a non existent telephone number for uber eats. Then spoke as if I should be grateful that I can get a refund. I asked for the missing items to be delivered, this was refused as they don't know my address....I gave my address and then she said get a refund. Needs lessons in customer service.

    Never had a problem until recently and what a joke it's become, I usually go in the early hours around my work schedule and the milkshake and ice cream machine is turned off, I understand that it needs cleaning and doing it during a time qhen it's less used or perhaps not appropriate. You know like during the breakfast menu but instead they turn it off around midnight, maybe a little earlier and then peave it turned off throughout the breakfast menu, doesn't take 11hrs with a shift change to clean that machine. It's just laziness and being bone idle. Might as well be in America at this point. What a joke.

    This mcds ALWAYS get your order wrong. They just dont "get" the concept that somebody would not want mayo and ketchup or salad all over a burger,but on the occasion the order is correct its usually nice (for what it is,its no 5 guys obviously). If you venture inside after school times its full of feral kids but other than that,all good.

    Last order made here was pretty horrendous.... Mcflurry was just liquid (as drinks and ice-cream appear to sit on the counter for 5-10mins whilst food is made) and completely the wrong size and counter service can take a long while (whilst drive through appears to be prioritised)

    Constantly not putting food we have ordered in our bags, have let this slip numerous of times but when it keeps happening it becomes a joke! Getting our orders then finding meals missing but they say we have to go down and pick up, so the rest of the food which we spent £40 on is getting cold so we can collect meals that they haven’t put in the bag!! Joke!! Poor customer service, not helpful at all!! Sort it out!!

    Make sure you check your order is complete, twice have gotten home to find missing a meal. Sometimes the chips aren't quite cooked so check those too. Also, ensure if you are getting happy meals and adult meals, that they make the happy meals at the same time or you can end up with cold kids food.

    How can you get it so wrong. I’ll just bullet point my review for ease:- - Rude Staff - Cold Food - Missing Items Although it’s rubbish we all still go to McDonalds. Just try the other one up the road. If you do use this again, which we all will of course, lower you expectations to ‘extremely disappointing’ so they won’t let you down. Bon appetite!

    Always missing items, never hot. When you dare to tell them you’re missing something, you get treated like a criminal and accused of trying to steal from them. On a £30 order, who is trying to steal one extra burger? You’re just incompetent and your CCTV confirms that when checked. No apology for rude staff. Was once a good maccies, now terrible. I’m guessing it’s changed to new management at some point. If I could give zero stars I would.

    When you asked for two plain triple cheeseburgers and alot more food with everything on it but when you get home everything is plain I even asked for extra pickle on the rest of the burgers but got plain one's No point returning as I live too far away I think your staff need a bit more training or need to listen properly

    I went to this mcdonalds today and to say im appauled is an understatement. I was waiting for my food, came with wrong drinks, then they came back with 2 cokes 1 medium and 1 larger. I explained i had ordered both large meals. I wasn't given an option to make the other large instead i go "well you didn't pay for large" i would of paid the extra to make it a large instead i got "is that ok" its not really considering i didnt order a medium. The chips were stone cold as well. I find the chips here are either soggy and freezing. Its not the first time i have felt customer service has been shocking and other people say the same. Won't be returning

    Tills in the drive thru weren't working. You couldn't order Happy Meals at the counter only on the screens which I refuse to use. Having checked my order before leaving the counter I realised that half of it was missing. I had to place a supplementary order and pay again. As a result of all this disruption even I hadn't realised that two Fruit Shoots had been missed. So I had to return to the counter for the third time. On the plus side, the food arrived quickly and together in spite of it being two separate orders. We only went for a quick and convenient meal because of having our two young grandsons with us. In view of today's events I would think long and hard before going again.

    Giving 4 stars for the food as it was freshly cooked the staff always friendly, I would av given 5 stars but there was a group of teenagers causing trouble inside and outside the restaurant and the staff did nothing

    Ordered on Uber Eats and paid extra for priority delivery (the delivery guy was great). He was sat there for nearly half an hour whilst they were sorting out our order. When it came it was cold, it looked like someone had taken a bite out of my big Mac (have pictures of this) and apparently if you ask for no lettuce you get very little sauce and two slices of gherkins too!!! Absolutely shocking food and worse than it is normally.

    It was very very busy and the staff although working very hard were unable to meet demand. There were long queues at the drive-thru, at the collection counter, waiting for table service and the drivers waiting for orders to deliver. The tables had not been cleared or cleaned. It was not what you expect at McDonalds so hoping it was a one off. I must stress that the staff absolutely were trying their best in a difficult situation with some tricky customers but the system failed. 😟

    Date 15th June 2022, time 13.00hrs, I was kept waiting at the drive thru, when I challenged the operator, I was told the screen was loading up, the other drive thru was working fine. No apology was given, food second standard , just about warm . Up your standards or customs will nor return.

    Oh my! What a mistake it was going to this McD’s on a Friday after school time! Walked in and was shocked to see kids actually climbing and walking ON tables. There’s a weird wooden structure in the middle of the restaurant which is partly a table and partly a seating area but kids were using it as climbing apparatus. Pretty yucky! Like being in the chimpanzee enclosure at the zoo. Might as well have been looking at the amount of litter left all over the tables and floor. No thanks, never again!

    Service was slow. I placed my order and my number appears on the being prepared screen. My number then simply disappears. I then had to ask a staff member where my order was. I only ordered a regular sized coke. Simple order yet it took 30 mins to arrive. I was not impressed.

    The eating in side at this diner is very good, the service is also very good, and the interior clean, presentable and not run down or dishevelled, like some MacD diners I have been in over the past 20 years or so. The food is good, and care and love is taken in its preparation, I put both of these things mentioned down to good management or franchise ownership. The home delivery is a slightly different matter, the first home delivery I ordered there was an item of the order missing, which meant a refund request, that was annoying, considering that local none branded commercial outlets get it right and they don't leave you short changed or short on the order, the second time I ordered, the driver had to call to get directions, that was not so bad but the chips had gone stone cold and there fore they were inedible, the entire order did materialise though. 4 stars for the eat in experience, and no star for the home delivery. I actually think MacD's should invest in their own delivery drivers, vehicles, sat nav, much like TESCO, ACADO and SAINSBURY's have their own wheels and drivers, this way there is a set level of professionalism and customer service right to your front door- with the product.

😠 However good it used to be, I now wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anybody. I took my wife for her birthday. We turned up early so sat at the bar tables and ordered some drinks after waiting for a waiter for 15 minutes. The drinks were made, placed on the bar where we just sat and watched them...

👍👍 A lovely cafe in pleasant surroundings. Built onto a church which now houses an antique shop. The waitress was knowledgeable about cross contamination regarding gluten free options. Most of the menu could be adapted to gluten free.
