Not even worth the one star! Food was ordered over an hour ago, tried phoneing and there shut! If it wasn't this late and I'm hungry I would have personatly posted back through the letter box. Was cold very dry and incorrect. My opinion don't bother waste of time and money.

Buy fish and chips for my dad every week. Haddock, that I ask to be very thinly battered. He loved it. Great size flaky fresh fish

Fish chips delicious, 2 large fish and chips £12 plenty for 2 people, or 4 fish 2 large chips, large curry gravey peas £17 amazing taste and value. Best chippy around.. 😍

Absolutely disgusting. Peas was swimming in green water nothing mushy about them, gravy cold and tastless. Asked for lightly battered fish which we waited extra time for to find there was more batter than fish and well don't get me started on the chips

Called in on the off chance as not local, very nice food, can highly recommended

Never had food as bad as that, fish chip pea's and gravy, £8 gravy was uneatable pea's cheap, and horrible fish covered in cheap batter.Stop buying cheap ingredients that why your food is terrible I will never go back, and if you like good food don't go here

Very disappointed when I visited last time. I've been before some time ago and it was a very good chippy. Seems to have lost it's identity - looked more like a kebab shop. Ordered pie & chips, chips were soggy & bland - pie had a nasty tangy taste like it was off. Binned the lot.

Small fish is big, the large is huge. Fantastic staff and it's very easy to see they make sure everything is fried in clean oil. Best chippy I've been to in a long time

Best fish and chips I've had in a long time, fish is massive and fresh and chips cooked how they should be. Not greasy at all. Definitely my go to for a chippy tea.

Got my sister to come get a large chips and it's never been a large so I went with her today and see if she was ordering a large or not so I went and ordered a large and I didn't get a large absolutely waste a girl with red hair took the order and didn't get what I asked for this happens again I will not be coming back

Was ment to be salt and pepper chips no peppers or onions and the chips was plain and dry peas was watery and was late so couldn't ring the chippy because it was closed

Normally the fish and chips are delicious,but this week our delivery was a bit late and they were stone cold to top it off 1 of the portions had half the fish missing. My partner said maybe the delivery man ate it when he got lost on the way to us.

Ordered small fish chips curry reason price until you come to eat the meal Chips were half raw and very undercooked not nice at all.had one mouthful and ended up in the bin.quality has definitely gone downhill lately which is a shame as it used.to be a good chippy

we use this chip shop quite often as we only work around the corner, usually we cannot praise the food and service enough. However today we ordered 4 meals and sides every order received was incorrect. Really disappointed today.

After reading conflicting reviews about this takeaway I decided to give it a go. I'm from Darwen obviously but I work in Accrington and to be honest this was the only chippy I could find that was open online. I got steak and kidney pie chips and gravy and do you know what? I ate the whole thing. Probably because I was starving but I didn't think it was that bad. The pie was good. The chips were good. Gravy was good. It cost me about £4.50 and that I thought was a little steep but nonetheless, the lady who served me was chatty and polite so I can't complain. Well done Henry Street Fish Bar 👌

Messed up my order even though they went through it with me twice to confirm. The Keebab was rubbery best thing they do there is the fish. Even the peas a ro salty.

Ordered salt and pepper chicken and chips. The chips were not salt and pepper just chips and the chicken wasnt fresh chicken, it was like chicken popcorn balls and tasted not that good. So unhappy won't be going back there.

Will never go here again ordered simple things such as fish and chips with a tub of gravy also 2 sausage and chips with gravy came warm at a push didn't get the chips with the sausages just 2 sausages on their own no sauces no gravy simple enough order but still manged to mess it up rang and waited for chips to come they took over n hour when they came they were cold and uncooked never going here again absolute shambles

Absolutely disgusting food. Disgusting time keeping. Cocky delivery driver. Could of slapped his eye straight. Use to like the food but noticed it was going down him and we the new owners bought it months ago. All my food was cold. And it came an hour after I order when I live lifrally 2mins away walking. (I'd of walked if my daughter wasn't ill) they got my order wrong then charged me and forgot my pop. Absolutely disgusting

Order was not right. Missing Items rang up the shop and they didn't seem that bothered.,and not the first time either that items were missing but never complained before. Food on the whole good but have noticed standards slipping make your own mind up .
