Great little traditional, corner of the street chippy. Small, but adds to the atmosphere to be bunched up in the queue! Lots of interesting local newspaper clippings adorn one wall, whilst allergy info is placed on another. Great no fuss chippy menu and generous portions - when you order a large chips, make sure you are hungry enough for em! Food delicious and friendly staff. Recommended

Great place for fish and chips. Went here for the first time yesterday evening and it feels like a community hub! Chips were fresh and nicely cooked, as was sausage. Would recommend.

Great fish and chip shop. One of the nicest fish I've had. Friendly staff. Only downside is the waiting g area is a bit cramped but thats a small price to pay for quality fish and chips.

Opening hours are a win, much better than your standard chippy. But the standards don't slip because they're open all day which can happen. Got a chip barm and a battered sausage. Bread was really nice and not what chip shops usually offer. Chips were decent. Battered sausage wasn't hot and had probably been sitting but tbf I did order it because I noticed it was already done. However the taste was all there and it was very nice. Service was fast and overall great chippy.

Hot chips, rag puddings, large quality fish (Haddock and Cod), crisp batter, friendly staff, it's a proper chippy!

Amazing chippy, friendly staff and large portions

Terrible.. After asking for salt and pepper chips, battered black pudding, we got a NO we cant do that because were going on holiday tomorrow.. we ended up with the smallest Soggy fish and burnt, greasy thin dried out spam fritter. Dissapointing visit today to what normally is a great chippy. #holidaybeforecustomers Update.. Came again today 1st time since my last review.... Fish cremated, even tasted burnt!.. Ate what I could and rest went In the bin...

Found this place by chance a few months ago when our usual chippy in Padiham was yet again closed . It far excels our previous one by friendliness portion size and most of all quality . Can highly recommend

I only visit this chippy occasionally when I'm in the area for work! The food, staff & service is among the best I've ever had from any chippy anywhere. I live over one hundred miles away & it beats my local chippy's every time. Keep up the good work..👍🏽

Brilliant chippy staff were friendly and sociable which you don't always get anymore. Portion was massive and the chips were perfectly cooked. I liked that there were some misshapen chips too. At busy times you'll see just how good it is with the massive queue out the door

As a regular over many years the food has always been excellent but 2 weeks ago after my food it repeated on me for the rest of the afternoon and I believe this is due to the fact that the cooking oil has not been changed and I believe that is where the problem lies. I am only posting this because I want it to be back to the best chip shop in Lancashire.

Still the best chippy in Padiham and probably the longest running. 50 years after my first visit the standard remains the same - very high. That’s why it’s worth queuing for!

Delicious food at decent prices & friendly service will definitely be visiting again when I’m in the area.

Friendly staff and the young lasses here accommodate the face I have to have tiny portions. Alot of places won't. Thanks ladies!

Waited an age for chips to be cooked, in the end took away 2 bags of chips but they were like mush, won't go back

Best chip shop, we don't go anywhere else now!

Been coming to this chippy every week for the last 3 months. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, spot on service and (most importantly) the food is top notch. Nice and light batter, chips are fantastic and they do foot long sausages!! Always busy from the moment the doors open through till they close, which speaks volumes itself. I would highly recommend this chippy to anyone who hasn't been, you won't be disappointed.

Great fish and chips, good portions and friendly staff. Value for money. They also have 2nd hand books on the window sill. I think they're for sale rather than for passing time till you're order is ready, you don't wait that long.

Best Curry Sauce Evet

This is a lovely little chippy and you often have to queue up outside on the street as it's always very busy. The tastiest fish and chips around and all served fresh and very quickly. Just make sure you get there early and avoid the rush. I love their curry sauce, it's a must with any chippy tea

Large portions, delicious food. Always really busy because of how good it is, so be prepared to wait a little while!

What has happened??, the fish used to be the biggest and best with great batter, got two today and to say it was poor was an understatement, what a shame don't waste your money, go somewhere nearer.

This is the best fish and chip shop I've found so far in the Burnley area. Wonderful freshly fried haddock which is hard to find locally. My criteria for fish and chips is that it's fresh and good quality
