Lovely walk we found in Whalley. Visited with the dogs due to staying nearby in a lodge. We found this park online and went to visit. Parking is Β£1 all day but as the machine wasn’t working it came to Β£1.20 on the RingGo app. Easy parking and easy to navigate around, not too strenuous, plenty of paths to follow. Lots of benches to enjoy something to eat at. Took us around an hour to do a full walk so we were able to go around a few times before we left.

Great place to walk with little ones. As it is gentle and not too large a route. Lots of fallen logs around to spark their imagination and have a go at climbing on. Plenty of picnic benches to stop and have a picnic in a beautiful spot. It is a great spot to see bluebells in April. There is a food truck and ice cream van that stops by - probably weekend only. Plenty of car parking space. All round a lovely spot to visit.

Spring Wood is showing signs of Spring. The bluebells are showing in some places. The waterfall was exceptional this morning. The van on the car park, Saturday and Sunday is amazing. Sandwiches, excellent cakes and a drink. Makes the trip even more enjoyable.

Very beautiful area. Saw some dear and found a nice bit of water. Area is huge, we barely scratched the surface. Will definitely go back.

What a lovely place to visit. Car parking is pay and display (cards or coins - only Β£1). There's lots of paths to follow and picnic tables. We started a walk from here which brought us in a circle through Whalley and back.

We always go into the Spring Wood when all the beautiful show of the Bluebells are out. Its a steep walk to the top of the woods but well worth the trek for the beautiful view towards Stonyhurst. It can get a bit muddy after the rain so take your wellies.

My favourite place for personal reasons love feeding the birds.Clean, well maintained, just wish people would keep the dogs on a lead until they get into the woods,2 dogs on tuesday chased the duck, and chased the squirrels.Control your dogs, stop spoiling it for other people.

Perfect location, with toilets and advisory boards. Now has a Β£1 parking charge. Some of the best Bluebells in the region, with the strong fragrance of wild garlic in the spring. Old established ancient woodland with steepish paths in places. Nice picnic tables thanks to the Β£1 parking charge.

Beautiful in the spring when the bluebells are in full bloom. Not to much of a strenuous walk, and to do a loop of the woods doesn’t really take to long. There is a car park but can get full.

Lovely place to sit with a coffee and watch the birds and squirrels. Good walks with some great views. Bonus points for the toilets but minus 10 for the over complicated pay station!

Very pretty walk. Expected it to be bigger. It also could of been signposted better for the yellow/purple trail. The end cubicle in the women's toilet doesn't flush and the male toilet smell really bad. The guy selling food at the start is very friendly and chatty which was nice. Good place to bring kids for something to do but won't be in a rush to come back

Lovely wood with masses of bluebells and wild garlic. Bluebells just going over now in mid May, so a bit earlier would be even better. The small car park quickly fills up and we had to park down the road towards Whalley, but not so far to walk back. The only thing that really spoils this place is the traffic noise from the road, which carries up through the wood and is impossible to escape from. No real peace and quiet, which is a shame.
