You can’t find better seekh kebabs, samosas or ras malai anywhere! Don’t forget the unique chutney. Honestly don’t think anywhere else in the UK shifts more snacks and sweets than these guys. Highly recommended!!

This place has the best samosas, a very well known establishment in the heart of Whalley range blackburn. The preferred menu items are vegetable samosas, the milk pudding (ras malai). The chutney is something that nobody can replicate and the liquid gold receipe is something that only a few people know about. Try it but be prepared to wait as this place is busy no matter when you go.

I have been a loyal customer of this place for over 25 years. The high-quality samosas and lamb kebabs offered with their special chutney sauce here are unparalleled, satisfying my taste buds time and time again. Throughout the years, this establishment has remained steadfast in delivering consistency in both taste and service. Their dedication to maintaining competitive prices despite the changing market is commendable. It is safe to say that this place has become a true national treasure in my eyes. Should this establishment ever close its doors, I would be sincerely disappointed as it has become an irreplaceable gem. My enduring loyalty to this place is a testament to the remarkable experience it consistently provides.

You want a tasty quick bite. You want a spice flavoured snack. You want the best samosa's in Lancashire. This is the place. And for the sweet tooth person you also have a choice to cool off the palate.

Food is good but meat samosas are sometimes a hit and miss, lost one star mainly because of the smelly plates given when eating in on two recent occasions, probs just rush when washing up, please take account of this and sort it out as puts me off the food.

Excellent food, unique chutney sauce. One downside is If they can improve on hygienic side of things would be great. They use bare hands to serve food and then handle the money at the same time rather than if they can use gloves to serve food. Overall one of the best samosa.

Very rude service. No hello. No smile. In asking for menu the young not shaven few days in disheveled attire point to the screen with smirk but it was of. No sorry or be will put it on. I wait patiently and see a notice on the counter about a substance good for immune strength. It was I think "Alsi". I ask him and he says at first something with great effort in low volume. I cannot comprehend. I ask if I may see what this is. He didn't budge In very surprised. I'm the only customer in the place A nice middle aged man came and kidney showed me on an item and picked up a paper " basil seeds" on a bakery item. I thanked him for this and told him his colleague seen to take exception to help me understand. The young man then became hostile impolite and rude being argumentative I was shocked I apologise for the trouble to him and just walked off in peace. Very surreal place. Maybe great for locals and not nice to a new nonlocal! I don't advise to go here. Zero experience. If they tasted me nice I was looking to buy a couple kilo of sweets. Their loss not mine. I found a better place afterwards. Destiny.:)

Growing up, my sisters and I would call this place samosa shop! Our Baba would take us here so often that the staff had become familiar with us. When our Mama was hospitalised for a year, our trips here became more frequent since our full time working father often did not have the time to cook after work. We would eat in the shop and always ask for extra chutney! We must have looked like a real sight - three little girls, 9, 6 and 4 years old, all stood in a line at the tables, not even tall enough to reach the counters, still in school uniform. And we would chomp those samosas down! Even today, just one bite of their delicious hot veggie samosas and one slurp of their chutney will take me all the way back to my childhood. Food is such a powerful thing, it can even act as a time machine! As young girls who were living without their mother, this was one of only things we looked forward to. We never got sick of them. Fast forward a couple of years. During high school, I absolutely hated PE so I’d get my Baba to write me a note saying I had a “dentist appointment” during my PE lessons which were always on a Wednesday afternoon. He’d pick me up and we’d go to “samosa shop” and have lunch and then come back after 3:15pm to my unsuspecting Mother! My Father would pretend he’d just picked me up from school. What a time! Those were the good old days when their samosas were still 40 pence a piece. I’m married now, and have moved out, but every time I come home, I ask my Baba to get me some veggie samosas and extra chutney. I’m too old to eat them in the shop now, so he’ll bring them home and we’ll eat them together. Prices have increased here, just as they have everywhere. Still worth every penny though! There’s magical time travelling properties in their hot pastry stuffed with soft, spicy potatoes and peas. I hope they never change their recipe. My daughter has to try these too. As soon as she starts weaning!

The place is primarily known for its samosa’s which aren’t bad. They’re definitely not the best you’ll find nowadays with the filling mainly consisting of marrowfat peas and some mince. The issue is everything else is subpar. I got some vegetable pakoras from there recently and they were almost all gram flour with hardly any vegetables in there. The texture was doughy as the centre hadn’t cooked through and gave me an upset stomach. The kebabs weren’t bad but very elasticy and chewy. A sign of finely minced poor quality meat. Overall everything shows signs of cost cutting which is a real shame as this place has been around for years and you’d expect customer service to be priority. The man who served me also had no idea what customer service was. I was the one saying please, thank you and good bye. He never said a word other than to take my order.

Visited today whilst waiting for my car to be serviced at the nearby Perrys garage. Ordered 2 samosas, 1 chicken and 1 veg with a seekh kebab. Food was nice with all the chutneys. If in the area again will pop back in

Really wanted to rate this place 5 stars. The authenticity of the food and chutneys are amazing, tasty and fresh. However the staff member who serves the food is incredibly short and rude. I was made to feel very uncomfortable when asking about some of the food they offered. Not everyone understands the food and the culture yet I’m very keen to learn and open to embrace. Please treat your non Asian customers with a little more patience the experience would be amazing. Will be back in future.

Grew up loving their famous samosas and chutney like many others around here but lately they've changed for the worse unfortunately, either their samosas go off very quickly or it's chutney they give out that's very close to going off, just this last Ramadan the chutney went off by next day and I ended up with runs, I'm disgusted with them and their practices putting people's health at risk for a few pounds. Safe to say they've lost out on a loyal customer

I have been visiting this place ever since I was a young lad for Samosa's and kebabs, and have yet to find another place that can make Samosa's as good as here.. Nobody can beat them on this front, especially their unique spicy sauce that you get with the Samosa's and kebabs. I can honestly say that for a no frills place like this it certainly exceeds all expectation - BELIEVE IT!

What can I say, the best samosas around. Always fresh and their Special sauce is mindblowing with just the right amount of kick. The staff are really friendly and yes you can eat in. The perfect snack as well as the sheek kebabs and mithai!! Well worth the trip from Preston everytime.

Absolutely delicious samosas and kebabs. One minor criticism is that the people who handle food should wear gloves and not handle money. Other than the food is excellent.

Samosas and kebabs are a must. Would say stay away from the mithai or jalebi. Best samosas and kebabs in blackburn by far.

I travelled all the way from London to enjoy some of my favourite cuisine while growing up. It was indeed Manchester sweet centre on Whalley range Blackburn. I cannot believe the recorded ti is currently 19:40 and it says on the shop that they close at 9pm mon-sat. They have absolutely no food left. I’m down £90 full tanker fuel coming here and I’m going back on an empty stomach. Oh my giddy giddy gosh. May the lord have mercy for their Misguidance with regards to their opening and closing times !

Had samosa chaat. Probably the biggest serving size of samosa chat I have ever had. It was almost like a meal size. Nothing exceptional but pretty good for the price especially considering the serving size.
