This gem of a restaurant is a stone throw away from the famous Walley Range in Blackburn. If you are looking for a dine in place with plently of space and good quality food, this is surely the one. Spread over two floors, the upstairs is mainly used parties and weddings. The food, a very good standard. If you order the platter for 2, 4 or 6 then you will get a long hot tray. This keeps the food warm and looks fantastic for photos. Almost everything on the menu is in the platter so get to try it all. A delightful selection of juicy meat options presented beautifully. Person who took our order looked like he couldn't be bothered. Food overpriced, portions small. Count those stingy portion of fries. No flavour and bland. Jug of water was warm not a single ice cube in. Ordered a bottle of pepsi was warm. Asked for cold one didn't bother giving us one and no offer of ice. Left us to it didn't ask if we were okay or needed anything. Glasses chipped, was dangerous for kids. Not enough variety. Wouldn't go again or recommend to anyone. Don't bother going not worth it. Spend your money elsewhere.

First of all i want to thank amir for looking after us, and the rest of the staff, staff were very friendly, price is very good best in area. However the food side was let down from the lack of range of food, especially on the main courses, i have never been to a buffet where i not ate one main course at least, this is the first time. There just wasnt a big enough selection. The food was very spicy over the top spicy, my brothers and sisters who love spice and eat it a lot couldnt hack it haha, the decor is very poor when you compare it to others. Overall i would visit again maybe in the future when they have fixed some of these issues, all of which are not very hard or costly to fix. Thank you for having us

One the worst ever! Chiken tikka OLD STANK, Chicken wings OLD STANK, Lamb chops OLD STANK, KEBAB OLD STANK, everything was old reheated and absolutly stank I’m surprised I never got food poisoning, THE WORST TAVA/TAWA ever with everything OLD on it lucky they didn’t get a slap

Excellent service and food quality from the moment we walked in Farhan (Waiter) was excellent really good customer sergoce provided by this young man. The food was quality and place was nice thabk you team Waheed keep up the excellebt service. Also not to forget Nauman Qurashi ehat a pleasent suprise to bumo into you. Thank you for your present at the end top lads all round. Will deffo be back and deffo reccomended.

Pleasantly surprised with the huge improvements compared to pre-lockdown. The food was great, especially the starters and tender soft lamb biriyani. Served quickly with friendly ambience.

Last time I visited Waheeds it was a buffet and served warm food which you could tell was microwaved. This place has now made massive improvements. The tawa was amazing. Food was fresh and came sizzling. The starters are mouthwatering and the curries are authentic. The naans are fresh n fluffy. We were a group of 13 so they set up tables for us in a separate area which was good. Overall impressed with the food and the service. Price is very reasonable. I'll be back again soon.

Waheed’s Restaurant offers a really good and moderate price buffet and has become a very popular place for many diners in Blackburn. I have visited the buffet restaurant on a number of occasions and also have been to private engagement and party functions and can confirm that, true to its name, it has definately added a new dimension to dining in Blackburn. The buffet always has a large selection of grilled and fried starter items, followed by a few curry choices, a couple of rice dishes, salads, sauces and deserts all included in the price.

Amazing food!! Every single dish is top notch. We as a family loved it. That’s not it, the service is superb!! We had Iftar here and every thing was served on table, hot and without any delay.

Tawa was nice. Tawa for 2 is sufficient for 3 adults. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Will visit again.

Everyone here is absolutely lovely, we come here every couple of weeks. My 3 year old loves the food! We usually come here for the Tava but during ramadan they are doing a buffet and it's was amazing. Usually you think when doing buffets people cut corners but not here, food was spot on and fresh. We also got desi tea, fruit & dates which was a lovely touch. Best thing is you didn't feel like you were eating at restaurant, it felt very family oriented. Decently priced 16.99 per person. Everything is bought to your table. Couldn't fault anything at all. Lovely chill place for family and friends. The servers are really nice and attentive.

Ordered food for my Daughter's function. Every aspect, from starters to main dish and dessert inc pink tea was absolutely fantastic, tasted absolutely divine. Food arrived on time and was piping hot, I was worried about this aspect considering the distance needed for the food to travel and how cold its been outside. So overall very happy, and highly recommended.

Very welcoming and accomodating staff and atmosphere. I came with my wife. They accomodated for my wifes hijab screen request and all food halal which is reassuring. We ordered tawa for 2 people which is £30. Food was very nice, fresh and tasty; we loved the meal especially the meat curry. The sauces were spicy but loved the red sauce. Tandoori naan was nice and fresh. They also gave us brown rice with meat which was nice too. Unfortunately I didn't take a photo of this since this was served at end of eating the tawa. Two things however which we think they can improve on: 1. our meat in the lamb curry dish was undercooked and very chewy but when we alerted them they re-cooked for us and was fine after that. Please check meat when cooking curry based food. 2. The fish pakora was quite oily. Maybe use an oil that makes it less oily. Would definitely come again and get it again

This place is decent, its like my go to place when i feel like i want to play it safe, the services are really good, staff are very attentive. Karahi is always full of flavour. Not so keen on the starters tho and decoration needs some attention. Overall its safe to say decent place to have a meal

Waheeds hosted a birthday party for us. Food was fine however we ended up paying for food that was kept by the restaurant evan after we specifically asked to get it all packed as we had paid for it. Also tried overcharging us and when we booked we got told we'd get the bigger hall. On the day they gave us the smaller one. Was also told we could have the hall until 7.00 pm but got told 6.00 on the day. Just not very well organised

Visited the restaurant on the 18/12/2021. Clean restaurant, good seating arrangements and friendly Management. Unfortunately I can’t say the same about the staff. I was told there was no Mango Lassi, yet to see it was being served to other customers. Waiters running around like headless chickens. While the food was great the service was 1 Star.
