Delicious, scrummy, mouthwatering, taste sensation....... The food, the staff, the atmosphere, the service are all out of this world, 20 out of 10 on every level. Whether eating in or taking out Checcos hits the spot every time. Never had a disappointing meal in 30+ years. Our go to family restaurant. Cannot recommend highly enough. Grazie ❤️🇮🇹

I know how expensive things are at the moment but £75 for 3 pizzas, 2 x pudding , 2 x coke and a glass of wine... seems a lot. Very attentive, very good food not much atmosphere but the service was very good.

Checcos is very established and the food quality is second to none. The cost of living means it is only a very special occasion for us £27 for a steak is top end and very well cooked. Slightly disappointed with the vegetable portions and the potatoes between three if us was tiny. Don't skimp on the veg !! the carrots were dry and unseasoned. But overall a pleasant experience and would recommend.

Good meal had. Food was very tasty and came quite quickly. The food really makes it as the decor is a little tired and paper menus make it more cafe looking.. but apart from that the meal was good.

We all enjoyed the food. It was a nice cosy, warm place on a freezing cold night. Staff were lovely, friendly..food reasonably priced too...

We hadn't booked a table for 5 of us yet they still managed to seat us. The staff were lovely and polite and very quick to supply us with menus and drinks. The food was absolutely delicious, even the kids who aren't massive lovers of Italian food really enjoyed it. Highly recommend

Not been to Checcos in a few years, very disappointed when handed a paper menu straight from the printer. Decor needs updating, Felt like I was stepping back in time. Hole in the table cloth not acceptable throw it away. Food was very nice and the staff friendly.

Unfortunately checcos standards of service , food and atmosphere has really slipped. You book a table and you are still waiting to be seated 30 minutes later. Staff are unhelpful when asked about the wait.

A little gem of a restaurant. Really delicious freshly cooked food, served piping hot. The staff were really friendly and made us feel so welcome. Prices are standard for an Italian meal. We are only in the area visiting, but if we lived here it would definitely become a regular place to visit.

Lovely family meal out. The food was excellent and the chef was more than happy to accommodate our extremely picky teenage daughter! The young lady who served us was lovely and attentive but not too the point of being annoying, ie we weren't constantly asked if everything was ok ( I do so hate that... Once is fine lol). All in all a very enjoyable meal out and we will be returning.

A decade ago the last time we had a meal at Checcos,brilliant Cabot fault the food,will go back.

Usual Italian menu common everywhere so nothing really special and expensive for what it was. Three of us had o.k. dishes but the fourth was very poor. Only a small restaurant so felt very cramped and were stuck in a table in the middle of a gap between two areas which was really a thoroughfare for the waiters. It also made it very difficult for my disabled wife. We haven't returned! Checco's other restaurant in Preston has disappeared so I wonder how how long this branch will last.

A good local Italian restaurant with good quality food. For me, the portion sizes of the main were a little smaller than I'd hoped but I am greedy with Italian food.

Visiting the Gt. Harwood area I was extremely happy to see Checcos was there after being away from the area for 16yrs. Still extremely good food and very friendly service, if ever back in the area again wouldn't hesitate to visit again. Really glad it's still giving good memories

Lovely family meal out, the chef was more than happy to accommodate a very picky 13yr old lol. The waitress was lovely and not in your face in any way, big thumbs up from me. The food was beautiful and well worth the money we spent. Recommended and we shall return most definitely.
