Never been here and never will I attend again, came for Christmas Dinner and the food was awful the staff particularly 1 woman was rude and aggressive for no reason. Asked for the bill 3 times ended up having to go the bar to get it myself wasn't even busy so no excuse, then went to pay and added a 10 pound tip on for themselves which I find extremely rude and cheeky. I would not bother attending here it is a total waste of money and the atmosphere is very uncomfortable.

No beer on tap small portions

It was ok, the food was fair priced but the drinks are extortionate, be prepared to take a sharp intake of breath when you receive the bar bill. Also they add a service charge to your bill. I don't like this practice.

What’s happened to this place it used to be so good. It looks like Aldo has given up on the place The restaurant is tatty, there’s no wine menu ? no wine menu in a restaurant/wine bar. The service was appalling the wine glass my Wife was given was filthy the waitresses were not interested and didn’t have a clue what was going on, the Guy behind the bar was a pleasant chap, I felt for him working in a restaurant were there’s absolutely no investment. Gordon Ramsay wouldn’t be able to turn this place round it’s gone, and that’s such a shame it’s lost it’s charm it’s lost it’s values and it’s lost it’s soul your a million miles behind your competitors and that’s sad to see.

We arrived last night quite late, think they were ready for shutting. The owner went above and beyond to welcome us and cook a beautiful starter and meal for 4 of us. The food was amazing and service was excellent. Thank you 😊

I didn't expect frozen chips, or a very thin piece of (not fresh) swordfish! I also thought they may have marinated my prawn starter, but I got defrosted prawns, with a basic sauce. Not happy.

Lovely atmosphere. Very helpful staff and the food and the service is magnificent. Only thing I would change is the dirty looking flower vases on tables.

Pizza was fantastic, all food good. Only problem was over priced alcohol and £5 for a pint on tap. Beer and wine cost us twice as much as the meal. Will go again but visit a few bars first before going. Staff friendly decor a step back in time but it was clean.

Superb food and lovely friendly staff in a relaxed atmosphere.

The food is always fantastic, exceptional even... the team are so incredibly friendly & usually the service is absolutely spot on, but this time it felt slow, which I think was more related to them being understaffed. We love the building, the space, the environment. This time, I brought my mother in law, who I didn't realise had never been, along with my children & my parents. Everyone was full, satisfied & happy. Of course we will be back!!! Thank you for a wonderful evening, as always!!

The food was amazing, a little dark but could have been where we were sitting, far too noisy could barely hear the people on our table. Overall a very good meal and will definitely be going back at some point

Absolutely from start to finish the best dining experience from the waiting staff, who are so helpful and friendly. Also the most delicious freshly cooked Italian food we have eaten ever 😋

This is the third visit to aldos and I have to say I was very disappointed. The meatballs weren't fresh and very dry. So called sirloin steak more like frying steak it was very thin. The chicken was very tough and the service was the worst I've ever had. I don't expect to clear my own table in a restaurant and was never asked if everything was okay or even if I wanted drinks/desserts. Will not be returning.

Family Mother's Day meal was all good except service a tad poor. Which I'm very surprised at, as usually it is excellent just not on this occasion.

Just had an amazing meal out with family here. Food super hot and so fresh and tasty, great service and such a friendly atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble. Thankyou and will definitely be going again.

Food excellent as always, service on the other hand left a lot to be desired, waited a long time for drinks, and table not cleared of empty glasses!!!!

My wife and I had the misfortune to visit this restaurant, we have ate in a number of restaurants over the years but I can honestly say this was our worst experience, we were seated by a pleasant young girl who immediately said "we are short staffed so please bare with us", we ordered our meal and we were served with what I can only say was offal, it was disgusting, tasteless, and minimal in portion, we were charged £6.50 a pint which is dearer than City Centre Manchester, we left 90% of our food and the male waiter asked if everything was alright, I replied not really!, he apologised and spoke to the chef who gave us 10% discount, we left quickly to never return ever again, be WARNED.

Food the terrible, garlic bread dripping is oil, the steak was full of fat and covered in sauce so you can't see the fatty food,

They are so welcoming and will aim to please when ordering your meals. Lovely food, polite staff and very clean. Would highly recommend.

Pasta wasn't home made, it was the packet stuff you get from the super markets. Really disappointed!. Also the waiter had an attitude and after requesting to not sit in a seat where we were basically on show to everyone else, he said we couldn't just choose where to sit.

Usually love this place but service was really slow on Saturday. On questioning staff, our starter was sent to another table which meant us waiting longer. The food was good as usual but the extra long wait ruined the night for us this time.
