Went earlier for a couple after work, once again as summer starts you’re not allowed to sit in the bar area as every table is reserved. I’d understand if the restaurant area was reserved but not the bar. It’ll be like this all summer too. Also, the menu hasn’t changed for at least 8-12 months. We’ll go again after summer has finished and it’s possible just to sit and have a few pints.

The food was very nice but the service was slow. Our finished main plates were sat in front of us for over half an hour before the waitress came with the card machine. We weren't even asked if we would like dessert. We will return but may ask to pay as soon as our meals arrive.

We reserved a table for 7, the table was laid out and ready for our arrival. The staff where really friendly and professional. We had a bit of a wait for the food to arrive but the restaurant was really busy so we understood the slight delay the staff took this on the chin and knocked a couple of drinks off the final bill which was a bonus. All the food was really good and made to a quality standard as we had a mixture of steaks Sunday roasts and pizza's. Overall we had a really nice meal no complaints from us and will be visiting again soon.

Another family meal. Food as always spot on, battered fish and chips £12.95 great size, burgers, stake pudding, gammon with pineapple, 11 of us in all, oldies on small meals as we all know as you get older you eat less, Lol, all enjoyed there meal and drinks, service polite and friendly. Great prices except for pudding £5.50 I think is a little high but you don't need to have pudding, Keep up the great work highly recommend Already coming back on 18 June after 4 weeks in Ukraine for another family meal Meal 3. Had to remove 2 stars due to us overheating as it became uncomfortable plus layout was bad you had to get everyone to move out to go to the loo Windows don't open and in the heatwave we were all dripping needs air con or the windows sorting (front of building)

Food good, such a shame about the appalling service. Table of 3, we arrived and was told to sit where we could find a table. We did get offered to order drinks, then nothing for 20 mins, only to be told that they were really backed up in kitchen. Eventually they took order and then ignored for a further 40 mins when a waitress appeared with our food, asked if we would like any sauces, but by the time she appeared again with some of what we asked for we had almost finished our food. Staff need some training on customer service! The pub is now looking very tired, in desperate need of a makeover and decent lighting. Won’t return in a hurry!!

We went for lunch, it was quite quiet. Reasonable meal selection, some good beers. The service was good with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. All at a reasonable price.

Food large portions and cheap. Good service and great atmosphere. Not fine dining but very good and well worth a shot.

I went for food and to celebrate and I was not disappointed. The food was fantastic, and the atmosphere in the pub was chilled, friendly, relaxed and fun. There's a good choice of beer/ale available and service is quick and super friendly. This is an amazing place and I will most definitely be visiting again.

Been here a few times now and the food never disappoints. Today as always, it was beautiful. We had the steak and ale suet pudding and a meaty pizza. Only negative feedback I have is one of the waitresses had a really bad habit of sticking her fingers in her mouth, and wiping her nose on her hand then serving drinks or food without washing her hands first. She needs some hygiene training!

Visited on a Monday evening as a last minute decision to eat out. Lovely friendly staff, great service and fresh hot food. Pizza was excellent and Lamb burger was also delicious. Prices very reasonable.

Hadn’t been down to the Hyndburn Bridge for a long time. Food was good, had a few different dishes and everyone was happy. Portions were big which is good, but heads up! Staff were friendly and attentive.

The food and service was excellent. We opted for the Chicken Gyros and they were delicious. Plus a delicious/massive portion of onion rings. Thank you

Popped in without booking at 2.15 hoping for Sunday lunch for 2. No problem waited about 40 minutes but there were larger groups dining. Well presented roast topside with whole steamed carrots and green beans, mash and roasted potato's traditional large Yorkshire pudding and generous portion of meat. We had to ask for condiments which were plentiful. My only concern was the Yorkshire was reheated which made it a little crispier than we'd like. Staff were very organised and hardworking and a team to be proud of. Drinks were on point x

A quick check of the toilets on entry as you can tell a lot about a place on the condition of the facilities and they were spotless as was the rest of the pub. There were 5 adults and a newborn in our party and we all ordered food and we all thoroughly enjoyed it, I had the pan-fried Sea Bass on a bed of potato stew which was amazing. They have an excellent selection of drinks on offer, I partook in a couple of pints Moorhouses which was spot on. Finally big shout to the staff who were all wonderful and a credit to the business. Highly recommended

Didn't go here on this occasion but Google keeps shouting at me to give a review. So from what I can remember it's always been really good and nice food, always looked really clean inside. If I remember the drinks were a little pricey but it is a hotel after all.

Ordered cheese and onion pie and I was served meat and potatoe pie. It was that tasteless all I could taste was potatoes. Wasn't unti the second bite I realised what I'd actually been served. Good job I'm not a vegetarian. Staff were really young. One must of been only 14 at the most. I can't fault the front of house staff. They were lovely. I just blame poor management. I won't be going back again.

Visited the Hyndburn Bridge some three weeks ago, the food was terrible, all three meals were of poor quality and in one case inedible. The music was way to loud to hold a conversation. What a shame it used to be a great place with good atmosphere and great food, but alas no more will not be going again

Just had a lovely meal my partner had a fabulous garlic bread with cheese fresh from the oven it looked yummy although I don't like cheese. Gammon steak with egg and chips and fish and chips was very enjoyable. Then we had a yummy dessert with chocolate and caramel bits with ice cream. Will definitely go here again also staff very attentive throughout. The 2 bottles of roses was nice too .it was my birthday.

Placed in the bar area for what was suppose to be a quiet family meal with my daughter and her partner. No other customer in that area was dining and the noise level was intolerable. The service was slow and almost non existant. The starters were tepid and the mains were poor quality. Not impressed at all. The young staff need to be more vigilant of their dining customers needs. Would not recommend after a shocking experience.
