What an absolute delight this was! I had seen the ultimate sharing Sunday roast online and it looked amazing, but my word, it was better than amazing! Staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was superb. Have to say, it is the best roast I've had, and I've had a lot of sunday roasts! Presentation was spot on, everything was cooked to perfection and service was 10/10. I just wish I could have squeezed a pudding in! I've never been here before but I will 100% be back to try the lunch menu. Thank you so much, really enjoyed the visit! Oh....the place itself is also really lovely, certainly a chilled vibe going on, perfect. I hate going places and the staff are either bored, can't be bothered or just not attentive.....no need to worry about that here, from walking in to leaving, everyone was so welcoming.

A lovely tasty meal (we had a fisherman's sharing board); a beautifully decorated interior; ambient, well-lit, covered seating area outside. Highly recommend.

We arrived without reservation and the staff were very accommodating, warm and friendly. Although it feels like we were lucky to get seated as it’s a popular place and booking would be recommended. The Food was excellent and the presentation was lovely. Not the cheapest pub food but the quality is well worth the price and the service is exceptional. Our waiter Gabriel was a delight and nothing was too much trouble.

Absolute pleasure eating here. Setting the standard in the Sunday roast is the aptly named: ‘ Sunday roast sharing board’, it has absolutely everything you could hope for. The pub itself is beautiful, the food is absolutely next level, the service is exquisite, friendly and attentive! For Sunday dinner that’s a whole lot more special, I’d highly recommend this place, for what I’d advise as being probably the best roast you’re likely to ever eat!

If you want quality service and quality food then this is the place to be! Me and a friend visited last week, the service was exceptional, I had a bad back and was sat outside on the rattan sofa, Jamie put some cushions on it (weather was a bit off so it didn’t have any on just incase it rained) my back was still hurting so he kindly got me another cushion to support my back. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, drinks were perfect and the food… well I’ve been to the ivy in Harrogate and the food here was way better!! Thankyou for a lovely afternoon xx

Ist time there, long wait for food, 2hrs not ideal at all when food arrived was fabulous for 2 of us, other not so great at all. To be fair owner did come over and apologise. Ambience was lovely, wine fab. They were just having staffing issues, which affected the whole evening. Would go back again to give them a 2nd chance, hopefully alot quicker service.

Beautiful pub, decorated nice, staff where welcoming and a lovely big beer garden, we ate our meal inside then went in the garden for drinks and pudding, was a lovely day, food was fab too, definitely be going back. Pictures are fish goujon starter. cheese and onion bomb pie with chips and peas. Seafood linguine. Breaded chicken burger with skin on fries. Battered haddock, chips, peas and tartar sauce. Raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake with Raspberry sorbet and a Dark chocolate pavé with honeycomb on top and vanilla ice cream Everything was perfect 🥰

yesterday was my first time eating here, everything was spectacular. the place the food the staff. and we also enjoyed hearing the complaints of a table next to us. I wonder how people eating microwaved pre-cooked food at home in a restaurant turn into chef Ramsay, and in the end they eat and finish all the food on their plate 🤣

Absolutely fantastic. The ambiance is cosy, modern and relaxing. The food is delicious. The staff are amongst the most friendly attentive people I have ever met. We have a newly rescued dog and she was also made to feel welcome and very special. Thank you to all the staff for making our visits amazing. Keep up the fantastic work. We will see you again in the future I'm sure.

First time at the Black Bull Inn , Old Langho in the Ribble Valley. first glance inside,to me it was worth the trip with oak beams, stone walls kind of a mixture of old and new. Excellent friendly service from the staff (good start). The food , I had steak and ale pie at £15 my partner had the Sunday roast at £17 my daughter and partner had the Roast board at £40. The prices reflect good presentation, value and taste . As a bonus mothers were given small bunch of flowers and cup cake in a box ,a nice touch I thought.

Five of us had lunch here, the location was a little off the beaten track but well the visit. We had fish and chips, the steak pie, a beef burger, chicken burger and chicken kiev all of which were tasty well presented and prepared. The staff were friendly and efficient all in all a great pub for lunch.

Break away for a couple.of days, googled where to eat and came across this little gem We didn't book but they still managed to get us seated. The food was amazing. We had pan seared chicken and fillet steak. 10/10....wished it wasn't our last night as we would be going back.

Absolutely fantastic, just spent weekend at lodges near here and came every day to the black bull. The food is incredible and the staff are another level. The place really is a fantastic pub. The food from the main menu to the kids menu is all fresh and delicious (the chicken Kiev is the one to have!!)

My wife and I stopped for lunch with our newborn. As it was midweek we managed to get a reservation on the day (you need to ring for same day reservations) and got a seat outside in the beer garden. The garden is a lovely space with wonderful views and plenty of tables and a brilliant sofa / table area under cover. The menu is extensive and varied. Locally sourced ingredients with varied cuisines catered for. We started a vegetarian platter. The amount of food was perfect for lunch and great value at £22 for the quality and portion size. We enjoyed a drink in the sun which was very relaxing. We have been to the black bull numerous times over the years, it changed hands a few years ago and has been modernised and extended both inside and out. We will certainly be going back!

First visit today for lunch at the bull. Let’s just say I may live 1hr30mins away but I shall 100% be returning with my family for food and drinks. It’s a credit to the owner and team 👏 First class service and food.

A friend recommended that we visit as she felt we would appreciate what they offer. She wasn't wrong, both myself and my husband were extremely impressed with the service and food. The prices were reasonable for the quality of the dishes served. We also would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning... 👌
