Ordered a bacon cheeseburger with extra bacon. Came with 1 thin small bacon slice which is a joke on itself. Spoke to employee who then brought it back with 1 extra thin slice of bacon which equates to half size of actual piece of bacon What do you have to do to get a proper bacon cheeseburger pay for 6 extra pieces of bacon?

Went for dinner with mum yesterday, could't wait to get out of the place...Up to Ye Old Sparrow Hawk at Fence instead. Ordered 2 roast beef carveries, standard plate, 2 waifer thin gristley & tough as old boots meat. Ordered a small size plate for mum as only eats little portions, like a childs meal size...One piece of gristley hard to cut waifer thin piece of meat for mum too full of gristley fat. Couldn't cut with the blunt knifes they don't give you. Have to find out were those are yourself. One staff member just snapped & told us they are on the tables not...??? Not on our table number. Ordered 2 carveries, through bar staff on arrival, too busy making cokes. Asked 2 other members of staff walking around doing nothing. Bar staff had to call a manager out just to place an order. No condiments with meal. Slapped gravey on mums plate, went all over her clean dress. Mum had to ask for a wet cloth. Food to wipe her clean dress. Both plates of food was cold & the chap serving was too busy chatting to other customers, rarther than making sure we was okay. Carvery guy was extremely rude & ignorant. 1st time we've ever been. Usually go to Usher. Polite helpful & excellent food. Excellent sevice been going to Usher for the last 10yrs. Thought we'd try the Sycamore for a change. Will go to the Sycamore Farm Inn again but will try a different dish next time. If the same service standard will not be returning anytime soon.

Nice spacious pub. Comfortably warm. Clean. 6 of us had the carvery and 3 had steak. The carvery was fantastic! 3 sizes to choose from, 3 meat choices and every vegetable you could think of. All nicely cooked. The steaks got no complaints either. I thought the cakes sounded a bit pricey until I saw the portion sizes. Oh my gee😱. We were given doggy bags for what we couldn't finish. The staff were lovely. Polite, friendly and attentive but not intrusive. We had a great family unchristmas and I would highly recommend this place for any occasion.

We've been here a lot in the past and decided to venture for tea. Found a table that was dirty, the young waitress was very helpful and cleaned it before we took to it. We ordered via the app. Our food came before our drinks... chased this up on several occasions. Our drinks came once we had eaten our food?? No apology there.... The male manager had his priorities all wrong. No work ethic and overall a pretty poor attitude. Treating my children to a cakeaway I was served by the said male manager to have us standing and waiting for our cakes for others to be served and they got theirs straight away. I thought this is absolutely ridiculous. What a poor experience!

Just had the most amazing meal at Sycamore farm, absolutely lovely staff including Chloe and the manager Michelle all made us feel really welcome. The food was spot on and the price was extremely reasonable. We did come quite late and the chef accommodated us the best they could dispute the time.. Thank-you all once again and we will definitely be back….A star from us.

Me and my partner and his gran went for a meal for my partner's birthday for a nice meal.. me and the other half ordered burgers as we have had them many times before and we really enjoyed our meal! It was his grans ribeye steak that was a let down.. she asked for medium and it came rare :( and the cut of meat was very fatty! We complained and to be fair to the staff replaced it but it came out rare again. We didn't want to keep complaining so we just left. Apart from that it was a pleasant afternoon.

On behalf of myself and my sister who had an amazing time yesterday at Sycamore, we want to thank everyone working but especially Rhiannon for the best day we’ve had in a long long time. Good food, not expensive and great service from everyone we came into contact with. My sister’s little girl had the best time in the play area and we enjoyed the peace and quiet while she was busy playing. Thank you all!!

Been tonight for my Brother in laws birthday. The place was very busy and we had a booking for 17people. Michelle was our host and she was great. Very attentive and sorted out everything. I ordered the wrong meal for my son, Michelle changed it immediately and boxed up the wrong order for us to take home. The food was great and as usual, eyes to big for our stomach with the carvery. As I said the place was busy, my only issue was none of the cake I wanted was left. So may be next time I will order my cake first.

We enjoy Sycamore farm a lot. The carvery is often very nice, not always great but always nice. Prices are decent especially for now a days, family welcome and it’s a very nice atmosphere, never any issues, and don’t get me started on the cakes 🎂 staff are always very friendly, prices are good, would recommend

We’d heard such good things about Sycamore Farm and got off to a good start by being served by Sonja behind the bar who was really nice. I wasn’t all that happy with the carvery i had because the beef was very tough and I thought the portion size of meat was quite small. Our waitress Rihanna was able to sort out our afternoon by arranging for us to have desserts on the house. We didn’t ask for them and we didn’t intend to complain but i was happy that our issue wasn’t just ignored like they can be in other places. I’m definitely willing to give this place another chance. The food might not be amazing but your staff make up for that. Xx

Went yesterday. Disabled pensioners so went for the small portion option. We got the soup and carvery. The soup was delicious not small at all. You could get as much veg as you wanted from the carvery. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would visit again. Really good value for money and delicious food ..

I brought some friends to treat them to a meal we got a starter to share which was quite nice, main meal the chips were dry and over cooked, the fish was all batter and the steak and ale pie was all pastry and hardly any steak which I wasn't impressed with at all. The bar staff was welcoming and friendly but the table staff were miserable I even had to ask for the table to be cleared and the woman pulled her face at that. The chairs were also filthy with loads of stains on the seats, not impressed with the all experience and I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

I came with my family and everyone's food came great apart from my bacon cheese burger ..... picture one is a picture of breakfast from McDonald's 2 decent pieces of bacon Compared to what I got from sycamore farm ... 1 piesce cut in 3 pieces and I got 2 ..... pathetic ....

Lovely staff who can’t do enough for you and make you very welcome. Food excellent value for money with very generous portions. Good and wholesome. Andy (the chef) is very accommodating especially for my vegetarian friends. Will definitely revisit when next in the area

Last minute decision to visit for a carvery with friends, wasnt expecting much due to the price (quite cheap really) but It was actually very good and thoroughly enjoyed. Great atmosphere especially the cheeky chap who served the meat, nice to see someone happy at work. Definitely visit again. Thanks guys 🙂

I ordered streak and ale pie with chips. What I got was a gravy pie(no steak) chips that had been in a warmer for ever and the veg you may have well not bothered. My wife had the tasteless macaroni cheese. It's safe to say I won't be coming again. Rubbish food..

Not impressed! Had a carvery, Food obviously been kept warm from lunch time. Veg barely warm and quite shriveled. Bought a dessert to take home. After being quite costly very disappointed in the quality. Imitation cream! Won't go again.

We decided to have an early tea here. We were seated straight away even though we had not booked a table, the cavery was really fresh and the Yorkshire puddings were huge and fluffy! 😍 special shout out Greg who served us, he went out of his way to cater to my b/fs fussy appetite. We will be back!

It's OK. The food isn't amazing, you get what you pay for. The atmosphere depends who's there. It' has a family corner where you can keep the children entertained for a small price ( pay for games) and separate to adults drinking. Staff are mostly lovely. Tables are always reserved after a certain time so not to use the space ... so can't always choose where you would like to sit as a paying customer...

Absolutely love this place, the best place I have eaten. We came here whilst away from home and even though its 15 miles away a will be coming back regular. Portions great, service great, staff an atmosphere great and the prices are spot on. I had the farm giant burger and my wife had the carvery (gravy is lovely). If you can fit in desert the cakes are awesome, if you can't they will bag them up to take home and you won't be disappointed.

Went for a Xmas eve meal here food was excellent the service very slow service...then one of the guys had the cheek to say they was sorry but we couldn't be on the table so it's a good job we wasn't having a sweet aswell otherwise well done hopefully next time there will be better service and also even though I booked a table and paid £10 it wasn't knocked off the bill

After a less than satisfactory meal out previously, we decided to give the Sycamore a second chance - and whilst I was apprehensive initially, I’m glad we did. We were quoted 20 minutes for a table but were seated in less than that, and despite it being busy, our food also arrived quickly - and we were very satisfied with the quality of the food. We considered it a nice touch that the manager Rhiannon came to speak with us after our meal and we’d also like to extend our thanks to Charlie and Danae who were polite and attentive throughout our time at the Sycamore, ensuring that we were enjoying our food and then clearing our plates when we had finished. We both left here feeling as though we’d like to return again soon; the restaurant has improved much since the last time we came.

Just had a lovely meal here today with friends before the nearby bonfire. Fully booked but the lovely Michelle sorted us with a table and looked after us throughout our visit. Would highly recommend and will definitely come back. Michelle was amazing and very attentive we were very grateful! 😁

Family dining, very busy and noisy. Carvery was as expected, meat cooked well, good variety of veg. Dessert was much better than expected. One portion would definitely feed two and was lovely, they also have boxes for you to take home what's leftover. Not really my kind of place, but I won't knock it, just my opinion

Went for a visit to family from Blackpool, came in and was seated by a very polite young man, we sat in the children’s area as I was with my little boy, not only did this young man help us find the perfect seat but he interacted so well with my little one really made me smile! He made sure all our meals were fine but not only that I saw him physically doing a grand job! Relaying tables quickly, made sure safety was put in place when children were climbing in the play area, customer service was brilliant all around outstanding! Good job👍 I work in hospitality myself so I know how hard it is but can honestly say he’s a brilliant employee! I didn’t catch his name but we were sat on table 21 if that helps and he had blonde hair with a sassy personality (brilliant) thanks again :)

Staff were great but informed on ordering carvery, no Yorkshire puddings as the chef keeps burning them. But there was some there when we went up. Gravy was too rich like it had been under the hot lamp too long

Best carvery I've had in a long time! The meat was yummy. A few of the sides were a little dry or over cooked but overall yum. Kids play area was lacking imagination or fun 🤣

Fantastic service, and great food. Just visited for my sons 21st birthday. Can't fault the evening. A special thanks to the carvery chef who kindly came out to cut our cake for us xx

Just been here with my daughter and grandson, I usually order the carvery but thought I'd have a change. I ordered chicken breast fillets with baked potato and salad. Description said it came with a peppercorn sauce which I assumed would come separately in a ramekin dish. However, the sauce came poured over the chicken fillets. The salad and coleslaw was warm. Chicken was slimy and not very tasty at all. Won't be having that again!!!

Our crafting group visited today for our Christmas get together. The food was very good, especially the beef but what was even better was the care extended to our lesser abled ladies who were helped by kind and considerate staff. The young man serving our food, even though busy, took time to cut up food for one of our group. It was appreciated. We had tunes and bingo and all one can expect from a Christmas Party. Brilliant!

Really really impressed... Had a small plate carvery, all of the food was piping hot and fresh, absolutely delicious!! The service was great, and a super friendly lady Michelle looked after us throughout our visit... We'll definitely be back, Thank you!

Hello - today Weds. 8.9.21 was the first time at Sycamore Farm - we visited a relative who has recently moved to the Burnley area and brought her - we all had different menus - which were the best!! My medium size carvery was lovely, and the three meats tasted like they should. No complaints at all - we took the Christmas Fayre leaflet, and we will be back. Thanks, all very good value. Joan, Robin and Pat

Great food with first class service. All the staff I met were helpful and very obliging and welcoming. Our main waitress Michelle was very attentive and did everything to ensure that our visit was thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks to all.

There was a slight problem with us not receiving our food but when we brought this to the attention of the manager, a lady in a polka dot top and blazer, she was incredibly apologetic and assured us she’d have it sorted immediately. Our food arrived within minutes and we also received a refund which completely made up for the late arrival of our food. My burger was the best I’ve had in a long time and my partner really enjoyed her chicken. Really well handled Sycamore Farm, this visit almost left a bad taste in our mouths but thanks to your management team, we left happy.

One of the fee places I can go with my mum for a quiet dinner and chat . Can't say other people are quiet but that's part of the charm. It's a lively little place. The cavalry has gone downhill but I'm guessing it's been reduced due to COVID ....
