This has to be one of the best little cafes around. Cheap and cheerful with very friendly staff. The hot drinks are delicious, especially the hot chocolate! The breakfasts are bang up with plenty of beans and I believe locally sourced meat. Finally the pie and peas are great too! As you can see we have stopped here a number of times prior to going for a walk around reservoir. Well worth a stop if your going over grane road, if your walking or just fancy a cheeky tasty breakfast 👌

Ideal place for a quick stop before or after a walk (or both!). Also convenient if driving along The Grane Road as a pit stop. Adjacent to public toilets so accessible to all. The staff were very friendly, the menu is basic but good basic - all you need at this sort of place, and very well priced. There are a couple of tables indoors - sit and read the information boards about the locality, or several outside tables shaded from the sun by parasols (or from the rain by umbrellas, whichever you prefer!). Certainly I will stop by again.

Lovely little pit stop but they stop serving food after 2:30/3. Still have coffe/tea/cake and ice-cream. There's also no inside seating but some seating under a canopy.

A really great place to meet friends for a coffee or a snack. ( I loved the hot dogs!) Some Al fresco cover which is useful in our climate! Really nice staff too.

Beautiful and tasty cappuccino, price's are good. Staff really friendly and helpful, thank You guys! :) Car park is free, but do not have a lot of spaces, so who get there fist then get the parking spot. Toilets are in good condition. Nice walks around! If you're around, then it is good place to stop, definitely worth it ! 👌🏻☕🫖 Ps. And yes, you can buy there refreshments, food smell so good (you can feel it from car park 😋) and coffee is delicious! :)

Lovely place - highly recommended! Staff friendly, polite and helpful. Prices are reasonable and food is lovely! Toilets clean, tidy and well equipped. Seating outside. Dog bowls provided for a drink. Hand sanitizer on every table. Free car park with ample parking. Bird feeders next to eating area, saw lots of different birds! Will definitely be back.

Hot food and drink to take away/ eat on the picnic benches outside. Good location to start some circular walks. The toilets were clean. The car park is a good size and free. At the time it was open daily until 1730.

Great Walk and I really enjoy bringing people here. It's the perfect length and has great views on a clear day. We had visitors here from Bhuj Swaminarayan Mandir and we took them to see the Quarry and they really enjoyed it. I would highly reccommend it to anyone who has a spare 3 hrs

A great little cafe ! Good menu for lunch and very reasonably priced. The staff are really friendly. The young girl who served us was constantly smiling and very chatty with the customers. An absolute credit . Dog friendly. Lovely place fir bird watching due to bird stations very near. Definitely recommend

A nice café with a good range of food and drink, toilets and seating. There is a path to the reservoir which could be used if the car park there is full. Just beware returning to the main road if turning right as the traffic from both directions doesn't slow down and could cause a serious accident.

Stopped off to let the dog have a bit of freedom on the way back from Fleetwood. Water bowls for dogs around the seating area, we had coffee and cake, fresh and reasonably priced. Have stopped here previously and will call again.

Food was good and tasty but it does cost £15 for two breakfasts yesterday which I think is far too dear for 2 people and also your toilet’s in the boys bathrooms are absolutely shocking though no toilet seat to sit on so clearly no one to care for disabled people with disabilities and the tap was not even working to wash your hands either and it was not clean at all clearly this place needs to hire more staff as this is quite worrying for me on what the disabled people would do. I’m not impressed

Pleasent little cafe,( outdoor seating only) open everyday of the year 10am till 4.30pm. Nice surroundings watching and listening to the birds chirping. Plenty of walks or bike rides around the area. Staff friendly prices very reasonable. Good size car park, disabled toilet and wheelchair accessible.

Great food. Highly recommended the plate pie and pea. Quality & value for food and drink. Service a bit slow but all food cooked to order. Inside has now re-opened so bonus on a wet day.

😠 However good it used to be, I now wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anybody. I took my wife for her birthday. We turned up early so sat at the bar tables and ordered some drinks after waiting for a waiter for 15 minutes. The drinks were made, placed on the bar where we just sat and watched them...

👍👍 Update - had a fantastic meal here last night, all was delicious but the king prawn starter and the Lamb Afghani Korai main were the stand out dishes, amazing. A most hospitable establishment. Review below is from just one year ago. We received a warm welcome here last night, our first time here....
