Bizarrely,
we
saw
a
write-up
for
The
Boardwalk
online,
while
we
were
in
the
middle
of
France.
It
sounded
well
worth
a
visit
so
upon
our
return,
Julie
and
I
thought
we'd
pop
in.
The
Boardwalk
was
warm
and
inviting,
the
atmosphere
perfect.
Laughter
met
us
from
behind
the
counter
and
some
good
banter
with
the
customers
there.
The
breakfast
had
been
recommended
so
I
went
for
that.
Julie
went
for
scrambled
eggs
on
toast.
Tea
and
coffee
arrived
quickly
with
a
smile,
followed
soon
by
our
breakfast
choices.
Both
meals
were
good
to
look
at
and
very
good
to
eat.
A
happy
place
with
free
laughter
and
banter,
good
food
and
a
warm
welcome.
This
was
our
first
visit.
It
won't
be
our
last.
