Woman behind counter just now was rude and snotty - she was telling me off and stating I should have placed order at the booth and didn’t I see it. I hadn’t seen the little booth thing. There was no one behind me and she served me anyway so she could have been nicer about how she said it considering it was a genuine mistake and signage is clearly rubbish if I didn’t see it.

I hate to leave bad reviews but i felt this deserved one - I am allergic to milk, myself and colleague ordered the same drink, mine with coconut milk and his with whole milk, they arrived and neither had a label on them to state which was the coconut and which was not, so i asked my colleague to taste them for me so that I didn't have an allergic reaction and my colleague simply couldn't tell the difference. I specifically requested coconut milk for this matter. I called to ask if they could please send me another one or at least refund me as it is dangerous for me to have cows milk and they said "i deffo made one with coconut milk " so basically told me to guess haha... She said " they couldn't do anything about it" too great...... customer service i wont forget. I have attached a pic, I beg anyone to tell me which one is the coconut milk so that i can actually drink the drink and have the £5.10 not go to waste.

Slow service, waited over 5 minutes for service, no one else in drive thru. No polite conversation, just given order end off.

I visited costa today with my auntie and Sister. We were all looking forward to a slice of cake and coffee however we were spoken to very rudely when we asked one of the staff members to repeat what cakes were left in the Drive-thru. Because of this we left straight away and left without whatever we had ordered.

The lady behind the counter is unbelievably rude! There was a young girl who was obviously new to the job, made a couple of mistakes, but instead of helping her she just made awful faces and didn't care that there was a queue of customers. Very rude woman, not cut out for dealing with people at all. Poor girl, this is not acceptable.

Does Blackburn deserve a nice and clean cafe, where the service is professional, serves what you ask for and you can hear nice unobtrusive music in the background (as in other Costa cafes)? Do people from Blackburn and Darwen have to use a cafe that resembles a dirty dive where you don't know if you can sit down because you can get stuck everywhere? In many places in Europe I drink coffee in Costa but this one is probably the worst, it is no longer a coffee shop.

Have been to this Costa nearly every weekend as my wife has ice skating practice next door. They have never got an order wrong, atmosphere is nice and the staff are really friendly and helpful.

Staff is rude and useless. Make you wait at the till because the 2 girls are chatting about personal life and when your order is ready, shout from across the café for you to come get your order. 3rd employee was alright and no issue with food

Coffee great but always seem to close early in comparison to opening times stated on door- same reasons- Staff member down Costa in Next accross the road is more punctual.

Always friendly staff day in day out I’m in a lot my partner or daughters not one fault for this costa ever. Great staff great service

Attended the shop to meet a colleague,staff very friendly and accommodating to throughout my visit.The shop had a nice feel to it in making people feel welcomed , thoroughly recommend attending if you wish for a nice quiet brew

Female member of staff (tall, spoke with a foreign accent) was very rude. Also took nearly 10 minutes to get through the Drive Through. The staff at the nearby Townsmoor Costa within Next are so much more friendlier and welcoming, but it only opened later than I visited the Drive Through.

Can be a great place but do have one or two bad staff that can not get there job as helping the customer. I just ask them to make my coffee the exact same way a always have it but every now and then they will try to charge me extra because I ask them to push a different button on the machine because I like my coffee strong not more coffee same amount but strong percolation time most of them all understand but some no lol.

I asked several times for extra chocolate and for the mocha to be a 2 shot mocha because they make the mocha too strong. The second round they made it is still the same they purposely are doing this. It’s out of order

I'm not a huge fan of coffee, but was in the mood so popped in for a latte. Got my little lad a porridge, this was made with lukewarm milk which didn't make the porridge oats swell and thicken (not hot enough) even the package said use boiling water. Won't rush back.

Parked outside this place (20:39) which closes at 9pm and the door is locked, no service by the drive through or the store.

Friendly helpful staff, good coffee and food.

On my previous visit there was a dead rat in the drive through area on the outside floor showing no one had inspected it. Also outside the coffee shop no one has bothered to paint over the black paint marks someone has made. I'd say improvements needed. They need to show more care of the surrounding area.

Have never had a bad coffee from this branch. Staff are always so friendly. Has been our 'go to' coffee shop since it opened.

Have to leave a bad review. Me and my friend ordered iced caramel lattes and got some sort of frappe?! They also gave us the wrong food that we ordered. It took over twenty minutes to make the drinks and they mixed our drinks together (one was decaf and one wasn’t) despite it being completely dead. In the end the drink ended up being a mix between a banana and caramel frappe and none had coffee included. Would recommend that people go to the one at Darwen services as we went there after and they fixed this for us!

Amazing range of hot & cold drinks, also which some sandwiches and biscuits & cakes. Also have lactose free milk option. The staff/barristas are very helpful in helping choose drinks. Been a few times & have a costa card. Atmosphere is mellow calm vibe.

The last who served us was so polite, best Costa Barista!
