The best pub in Accrington for live music at weekend and has a very friendly atmosphere

Great live music pub at the heart of Accrington! Run by Mark a great friendly guy and his friendly staff. He works tirelessly to look for the best entertainment and to keep his pub the best it can be. Following all the guidelines for this present situation. Great selection of drinks and great friendly atmosphere in a well kept pub. Be sure to see for yourself soon when things get better. Keep supporting live music venues we don't want to loose them!

Good pub with great bands. Awesome live music venue. Been recently done up but only painted. Toilets were much better than previously. It was very busy on our visit. I will return

Slow service, why is manager never seen when busy, you have kids running the place. I don’t think any of the bar staff are older than 21 tonight. No grown up in sight!! Why did I wait 15 minutes to get a Ship Yard larger at £4.10 when I can get served quickly at Wetherspoons with grownups and a manager available. The same pint is £2.75 !! Plus food available. I wonder why independent pubs are shutting down !! Yes charge more, no problem but you need to give better service than the big boys, unfortunately you don’t

Always good beer on but the music can be too loud you can't hear one another...but it's a live venue so expect that

Best live music pub in Accrington, recently refurbished and a nice outdoor addition, plenty of seats and great value beers. I am registered Blind, The Arden is most accomodating, if I go to the bar Mark or any of the team help me to bring drinks to my table. A really friendly pub and worth a trip, especially at the weekend. Enjoy everyone. 🤗

Cheap place to drink. Has some great live entertainment on.

Went to watch the Marching Bones band in this pub. They are amazing & the best band I've ever seen. Pub great and busy with great vibe. Band made the night & will keep watch for them playing here again.

I visited this accrington real ale pun 31st July 2021 Not only did it have good choice of handpumped real ales on The pub was full of clients and there was good live music on to listen to
