Recently changed hands to new owners and gave it a try again. The sunday roast is the best ive ever had and beats local competitors by a mile. Also the soup was amazing as well . Definately our new go to place but make sure you book a table in advanced

Popped in for a quick drink afterwork with the missus, we had a couple of cocktails and shared a cheeseboard. The staff are extremely helpful, friendly and accomodating.

We have just been to this pub (3 adults 1 child under 2) and it was excellent. The menu was really varied and the food was delicious. They were brilliant with our child and the children's menu offered a variety and choice of three courses. The decor is really lovely with the tables not too close together. I would highly recommend this pub for food it was high quality, delicious and fresh. We'll be returning!

Heard about this place from winning an award, and decided to try it. Food is just extremely good pub food with a twist. Friendly staff and dog friendly, which is a bonus. Totally recommended

Had a family meal for mother's day with our 5 year old grand daughter. The food was amazing, lots of flavours bursting in the mouth, wow was really impressed. The staff were really kind to our grand daughter too. Warm welcoming place with some super real ales. Definitely recommend. 5 stars guys, keep up the good work.

Thank you so much! I have to say the young lady who was hosting today was marvellous, absolutely 5 star service, noticing my wife was struggling with her meal, she insisted on changing the dish. She did discreetly and with minimal fuss! I had convinced my wife to dine here again as it was delicious last time, however the dish wasn’t to her liking, looked fabulous, might I add, but just not to her taste. The dish was swapped and my wife loved it, the food was equally as good as last time, this place serves fabulous produce, and the brigade most definitely can cook. If you haven’t tried it yet, do so, soon! As this place will soon be so hard to book into, as it becomes more popular, with the service standards so high, and wonderful food to boot! The White Bull in Oswaldtwistle is one to watch!! Well done Callum and team 😊

Have been using the takeaway service throughout lockdown and finally got in for a meal yesterday for Father's Day. Food and service is excellent here all with a reasonable price. Definitely recommend a trip here

Compliments to the chef and all the staff. Very unassuming from the outside, but once inside the food, the staff and the atmosphere were all excellent.

This is a really nice pub and well worth visiting. The food was delicious, hats off to the staff. I'd say it's twice the quality for the price you'd get anywhere else.

Excellent Sirloin Steak and Sea Bass with delicious accompaniments. Great service from lovely staff. The cheesecake was beautifully presented and the cheese and biscuits were super. Eaten a few times there now and always been very happy. Great choice for dining out, or calling in for a drink.

Lovely traditional pub with great food. We had the Sunday lunch and the beef was cooked to perfection (slightly pink) vegetables were all well cooked and perfect potatoes (roast and mashed). No room for starter or pudding! Would definitely recommend *****

Went on a Sunday, it's quite a small choice available on this day. Maybe not enough for some people. Food was spot on, on the high side for prices but was very good well presented tasty food.

Had a lovely lunch here we had steak and ale pie and the cheese and beer onion pie. Both were very tasty, well presented and good value and staff really friendly, will definitely return for the afternoon tea! Thank you!

Best pub in Lancashire. Callam and team have done an awesome job to get this pub where it is today. The food, specifically the burgers and steak and ale pies are 10/10. Have had a few disappointing meals this year but this place hasn’t let me down.

What a lovely, warm and welcoming place to eat. The staff were really friendly and helpful. There was a log fire burning which was so lovely.... it was minus 1 degree outside. The food was delicious and very generous portions. Couldn't eat it all so they boxed it up for me. Great menu. Loads to choose from. Definitely worth the drive out.

Decent place, this. The food was decent, and the atmosphere was fine for a Monday. Something that did stand out, for me, was the service. The guy who took our orders remembered who had ordered what, which is something I've only experienced at a few other places before.

Lovely little find. The service was professional yet friendly, the food was delicious, couldn’t fault a thing (the best chunky chips I’ve had). The place had a very cosy, relaxed atmosphere. Just wish we had taken photos but we were too busy enjoying the food. We will definitely be returning, thank you.

We had a great meal and it was good value for money

We tried the White Bull on a midweek evening. It was quiet, but we were welcomed well. The food was excellent, and above regular pub standards by quite a way! Unfortunately, the real ale selection was limited. We did have the ale that was on, and it was perfectly good - but more of a choice would take this from a good pub, to a really excellent one. It is worth noting that there was a good choice of lager - just not our scene. We would happily visit again.

After Hearing great things about the white bull I thought I'd give it a try and it exceeded our expectations.The food was outstanding can't wait to return.

Wonderful food, really lovely, I had haddock and the batter was the lightest I've ever tasted, the fish was moist and flavoursome, chips were amazing, my daughter had the burger, again it was divine. All table service . The open fire was blazing, warming the room, the place was impeccably clean, tables set ready for customers. In the toilets there are a range of helpful products available for use by guests. I don't live close by but it's worth the 40 minute drive for food of this quality.

We popped along for lunch and found this to be as expected, fantastic. I had the cheese pie which to be fair, was immensely filing and extremely tasty. My partner had a salmon and rice dish with Thai green curry sauce. She stated that it was amazing! As we went for lunch, the place wasn't full so the atmosphere was a tad quiet but, I suspect in an evening it would be great. A fantastic pub for food or, just for popping in for a drink. Very friendly staff and dog friendly! Go, you won't be disappointed.

What a wonderful lunch today. Called in unexpectedly as other plans gsd to be cancelled and boy was I glad, was our first visit but certainly not our last as food all courses was amazing. Great service from owner so lovely and gelpful. Starters was tempura king prawns for my husband and smoked mackerel pate for me, both with fabulous accompaniments, mains steamed mussels with thai broth, fries and lovely bread for hubby and mine onevofvthe best fish pies I have had the pleasure to eat, with mangetout, samphire and spring onions all beautifully cooked, buttered and seasoned. Thankyouvfor an amazing lunch at the White Bull Oswaldtwistle x

The food is excellent. Staff are lovely and lively. the pub itself is very nice to be in. The outside area is nice and toilets are clean. I would recommend the burgers and a Chilli Dog with some of the signature wings on the side. I come from out of town to visit every Saturday.
