A beautiful park close to our house. Fabulous for the kids and the dog!

A lovely piece of preserved parkland, surrounded by interesting houses. A nice circular walk provides good exercise for all. Sadly, many of the trees are in drastic need of trimming. Many are too tall and likely to be storm damaged, as recently happened (still to be cleared up). The more recent attempts to increase recreational facilities for children are to be deprecated. The conversion of one bowling green to little children’s play area was a great idea but please take out the creaking zip line and stop trying to add other play areas. There are other parks and play areas more suitable for that. This is laid out as a garden park of trees and flower beds. It’s also about time the authorities got a grip of the drunkenness, loud music and drug-taking going on at the band stand at night. Whatever happened to locking the park gates at sunset?

This is a great park for dog walkers and families. There is a lovely forest walk that is patched and easy to walk all year round. The small brook is fantastic for paddling in summer. There is no car park for the park but there is offer on street parking near the gate. There is now a toddler play area near the bowling green my child loves it

Lovely park with large walk from one play area to the little Zipline area and a lovely kiosk selling amazing coffee at weekend ! And every day in the summer hols. Very friendly owner. Courts for ball games and gym equipment. And if you park at Park road entrance (near the zip line you'll find a free little library to swap books ) Something for all ages here and dogs.

Great to see families sat out on a warm night listening to Queen tribute band. The park was full & lots of people enjoying the green space. Scott Park lovely to walk around, still retains that victorian feel & did Burnley folk proud that night.

Scott Park is smaller than all other parks in Burnley, but it has a beautiful little river, nice playground, tennis court, little gym, football pitch, and cozy clime around it. Highly recommended for recreation, football or tennis outdoors. Something to do for all ages. Lots of space for picnics and general recreational purposes. And it is very near to a birth place of Sir Ian Mckellen.

This is a great park for dog walkers and is well equipped for kids with climbing frames and a zip wire etc, there are bowling greens too and public toilets. It is a lovely park, not too big.. outdoor events are sometimes held here such as mini music festival days in the summer etc. Burnley, for a moderately sized town, has an abundance of lush parks, and this isn't quite Towneley or Thompson's park but it's definitely one of the best smaller parks and very pretty with a stream and a quaint little bridge, wooded pathways and a statue of Mr Scott! There are also public toilets which are actually clean and nearly always have loo paper in!

Amazing! Can't believe this is just up the road from me and I'd never been! Perfect for all ages. My daughter likes pushing her pram round the walk then going to the park

Had a memorial tree planted here couple of years ago. It's a great park which has events on during the year.

Apparently I visited a week ago, and should update my previous review. A bit curious that! I walk the dogs here every day. Anyway Scott Park was my go to place of adventure as a child, and my sports centre and obstacle course as a teen. It is lovely that it is my dog exercise area as a middle aged man now I live back in the area. As always it is best served early in the mornings or late at night when the illusion of being alone in the wild is easiest to maintain. But for the most part everyone is happy and smiling when you walk past. It could do with a bit of TLC and perhaps a bit better drainage. It might save on getting quite such muddy dogs.

Nice Park. Well kept. Play area for kids. Some steep paths further in but nice not too long woodland walk

On the small side for a walk and gates are open so not ideal for dog walkers still working on recall but has some nice features including a stream, band stand and courts for various sports.

We are very lucky to have such an enjoyable park on our doorsteps. There’s a lot of different areas to discover

It's a beautiful park, if only people with dogs cleaned up after them, but alas they don't.

😠 It looked like a lovely park , but I took my dog as it's a member of my family and got thrown out by Park Security , as no dogs are aloud to even walk on a lead anywhere in the park. Never going to that park again , what a shame.
