Excellent park, well maintained. Cafe is good but the prices are ridiculously high.

Dry brisk (-3) early morning walk with the dogs, the sun had barely risen. Lovely peaceful walk.

Very well kept, dog friendly, lovely play area and with walk leading to the old railway track. Tricky parking but street parking available.

A lovely little park to go and chill. A cafe in the corner that sells coffee, tea and hot and cold sandwiches

Not the best park I've walked through, needs a bit tidying up in places and a few bright plants would help. The cafe was open when I walked through. It a same that the park is on slope top to bottom. There is a kids play area.

A beautiful park, lots of large grassy areas and woodland walks. A large park with water and sand area, a bandstand that has been reinstated recently. There are lots of hidden gems, including the air raid shelter, old railway, the river Calder, miniture castles and large bridges with views of Padiham. The park also has toilet facilities and is accessible to all.

Great place to walk your dog's, has a little but packed play area, with a large sand pit which is very popular with kids. We have never seen the place in a mess or any dog muck, which is amazing as there are always dog walkers not willing to pick up their dogs mess. They must have keepers checking the place regular. There are lots of little paths going in lots of directions to give you lots to view as you walk. Plenty of seats spread out if you need to rest or have mobility problems.

not bad memorial park, well kept, decent amount of equipment for little un's. Old air raid shelter at the top, gives lad an opportunity to ask 1578 questions about it

Nice enough little park, with the added interest of an okd air raid shelter, but the lower half of the park is in need of some tlc.

I thought three and a half stars really but I'm giving this park the benefit of the doubt because some bright people have decided to open or reopen the cafe kiosk which is great. I've not sampled their wares yet but I will. It was quiet, surprisingly, for a warm Saturday afternoon in August but the park has a childrens playground with a water pump and sandpit. A bandstand which would be fab if it got used and pleasant green space. Someone is working hard on the planting and despite the need for one or two more signposts I thought that all in all it was pretty good. You can even get down to the disused railway line where, I kid you not, there is a wooden sculpture dedicated to White lightening. Shurely shome mishtake ๐Ÿฅด

๐Ÿ˜  It looked like a lovely park , but I took my dog as it's a member of my family and got thrown out by Park Security , as no dogs are aloud to even walk on a lead anywhere in the park. Never going to that park again , what a shame.
