1st time here and what a great place! Friendly warm staff and great food served hot. Perfectamundo!

A taste of Italy in Crawshawbooth. It reminded me of any trattoria in Italy, and I have experienced many. It was my first visit here, and what a delight it was, so hopefully, won't be my last. Food was excellent, and so was the atmosphere. Lovely to see families dining together, which created an authentic feel to the restaurant. The Mexicana garlic bread for starter was spot on, as were the main courses of Lasagne and Cannelloni. If you are looking for an authentic Italian restaurant in Lancashire, then give this place a try, you won't be disappointed.

Under new management with several offers to entice us. Rather too much mozzarella on my pizza but a very good base. Risked a gaelic coffee (after last weeks excellent cup in Coleshill). Tonight, 8.3/10. Here's a tip, stir in the sugar as you prepare the drink. Then it isn't bitter with the dregs way too sweet. Ah, well.

Just visited mondellos, I ordered from the Christmas special menu. Salmon and pawn starter and lobster ravioli main, both courses were delightful. Traditional Italian food 😁😁

Fantastic meal and experience. Our waitress Jess was superb, the food was brilliant, the atmosphere fantastic, and the evening was everything we could have hoped for our daughters eleventh birthday treat. A gem on our doorstep and I can only recommend it wholeheartedly.

We visited Mondellos on a weekend evening - 2 adults ans 2 kids. We called maybe 20/30 minutes before we drove up to make sure we have a table when we arrived We read mixed reviews whikst decidig where to go and were really pleasantly surprised that that the staff were amazing and the food is really good. The young lady minding the area we were sat in was so nice and communicated very well. Food portions are just right and the flavours are really good in all the dishes we ordered. Definitely going back again

Ordered a takeaway, unfortunately the food was very disappointing. The ribs had very little meat which was dry and chewy . Bbq chicken pizza- one small chunk of chicken per slice! And the carbonara was full of pepper and the pasta undercooked. The calzone pizza was burnt! The only positive being the quick delivery. Won't be returning.

I visited Mondello’s for the first time ever two weeks ago and enjoyed my food so much that I came again today. The special offer of 3 courses for £18.99 is fantastic value and the food is incredible. The lasagna is the nicest lasagna I’ve ever had, and I’ve eaten lasagna in Rome!! Will definitely be a regular here. The service is also great, everyone is so friendly and couldn’t be more helpful :-)

Good customer service! the staff are attentive and friendly. No wait time to be seated and flexibility in the ordering from set menu. The chefs in the kitchen did an amazing job with the food which tasted very good however a few things i did notice. The batch of tomatoes used today were noticeable in the classic bruschetta and the tomato sauce which came with the meatballs. The bruschetta were very nice but the tomato sauce that came with the meatballs was a little too acidic. A little sugar on the table made a huge difference and it is something i should have mentioned to the chef. Adding cheese to this made it worse but glad i tried it before the cheese. Dish still extremely nice but a difference between a 4 and 5. The fish cakes were extremely nice and making up mushroom soup for us when it was not the soup of the day deserves A+++. thank you and it was very tasty . The steak had taste and was very nice, the medium steak was cooked a little too long but still kept its juices and flavour (personal preference and no negative impact on the dish). The sauce was a little too strong and overpowered the steak / veg rather than complement it. Placing two peoples portions of veg on one plate next to my wife who loves veg was a bad idea. The two portions for two people quickly turned into a portion just for her! The Jalapeno salami pizza was extremely nice however IF it had olives and you replaced salami with bacon and a sprinkle of pepper it would be 5!!!! Personal preference again as spice seems to take away the enjoyment and taste from eating the salami. For ££ each, having two starters and a main it does fill you up! We will definitely be back soon. Very nice meal for the price lovely starter of mushrooms in tomatoes and basil sauce and top notch Mexicana pizza . Good price too.
